Something I've been hunting for quite a while now: Hudson IMI Jericho 941 GBB, silver version Very rare gun from the early 2000's, uses the Maruzen GBB system from their P99. One of only 3 airsoftguns Hudson has ever built and the only GBB of this pistol. Had to install wood grips on this (they're almost drop in, just have to remove a little from the heightened wood part on the inside, so that it fits the pocket of the frame), back then I only found ones with the newer "IWI" name. Recently found ones with "IMI", they're on their way now Surprisingly tight measurements for an old japanese plastic GBB9 points -
Wow! What a great first day back at ucap greenops. What more can you ask for than great weather, great players and a cracking hit count! I'm home now, showered and fed and walking in the shape of a cripple but man it was worth all the pain. First outing for the specna Arms se-05 and have to say what a amazing performer 😀. 0.28s were flying straight and true which accounted for my hit rate. Played the whole day on one 2000mah 7.4 lipo. Mostly played semi cause to be honest full auto was a bit noisy? But all in all well pleased and a great day. Thanks ucap👍 Regards3 points

Airsoft Publications

Yes 2. I've never read Airsoft Action so I won't comment on that. AI I would touch with a bargepole as its mostly adverts and the "articles" were poorly written, often copied straight from Wikipedia or forums (often complete with typos and spelling mistakes). Also every review was more like a glorified ad with all products being given high marks, no matter what. For example a CA AK arrived for their review dead out of the box, but was still given 4/5 stars. In fact the only time I've seen AI give a remotely honest review was when the G&G L85 was released. It wasn't favourable and the next issue they published a retraction after the shop got in contact with them On a side note I've also personally seen some very unsporting behavior from their staff while playing so as far as I'm concerned they can fuck right off3 points -

Fire Support were as speedy as usual and the G&P adjustable valve stop was delivered today. TL;DR: 3 easy settings to tune to temps / gas - but may not play nice with stock TM parts, more testing needed. Overview: It comes with an o-ring to fit the "firing pin" end of the nozzle spring. Also included is a little grenade pin to help locate the valve stop and align the screw hole. There are 3 sets of holes for the screw to fit, each a slightly different distance from the front meaning you have a low, medium and high setting as this controls how far back (or forward) the rocket valve sits. Kind of like a 3 step NPAS, but not interfering with the valve function and no chance of unscrewing and firing a grub screw down the barrel! The brass body has some subtle flats machined into it meaning that it doesn't rotate as you push it down the nozzle to getting the correct hole lined up is easy. The pin makes it easier to locate as it is a snug (but not tight) fit in some nozzles and has to be perfectly straight to seat properly. Testing: First I tested my stock TM bolt set up (TM bolt, nozzle, valve, valve spring, Dynamic Precision upgraded nozzle spring set & green piston cup) to get a baseline with 0.30g on ASG gas at 14degC gave an average of 273fps (6fps spread) I then used that exact set up with the G&P valve stop and it gave the following average FPS: Low - 61, Medium - 152, High - 230. Yes, those are FEET per second, not meters! Great if you want to run black gas in the middle of a heatwave I guess??? Seems that it didn't play nice with the TM nozzle/valve for what ever reason. One day, when I have time, I will revisit this and try to pin down the issue, I am guessing the internal bore of the TM nozzle is the issue but I can't say for sure at this stage. I then tested a set up I knew would increase the FPS - Premium Aftermarket Setup (Same TM bolt; Dynamic Precision nozzle, alloy valve, valve spring, upgraded nozzle spring & green piston cup) Low - 145fps, Medium - 240fps, High - 277fps. That is more like it! The consistency was also really good, I think from previous testing that this is down to the allow DP valve (3fps spread!). The medium setting will be great for running it in the summer (c. 20degC) or in cooler temps on Red gas. I am guessing the low will be around the 200-210fps mark so probably not that useful unless you have loads of Nuprol Black gas kicking about. Summary: A nicely made bit of kit that does exactly what it should and gives enough adjustment for UK weather and gas options. I just need to work out why it hated the TM nozzle, valve and valve spring so much! YMMV. Pictures: Blue background - G&P nozzle stop kit, Red background - Dynamic Precision valve3 points

I dare say it's safe to say this thread has run its course, before we start (or continue) to dip into offending people (be that intentionally, or unintentionally). More than happy to get flamed to kingdom come for it, but I don't think the sexuality/gender/indentification is particularly appropriate. If you're genuinely confused by it, there are plenty of great resources to become better informed.2 points

THE TM MWS thread
RMDavis and one other reacted to AngryDad223 for a topic
Hey All, just a quick report on some issues (not really) that I experienced today with my MWS at a skirmish The morning was cold so I swapped out my Aluminium Buffer for the OG plastic one. I noticed when loading up more of a twang from the buffer spring, I put it down to the lesser weighted OG buffer.... down to firing it felt slightly sluggish, but I cracked on all day. I only typically use semi so when the day was over and I unloaded my mags using full auto was like an old hand cranked machine gun. I closed the stock and noticed a spring noise, taking the stock off i noticed the end cap had come clean off. The small retaining screw had jumped ship but it is threaded so should be okay for now. Realistically I’m quite impressed, with such a bad ‘malfunction’ it still worked, all day. Gas efficiency was poor, but power was OK and it didn’t miss a beat. to top it off, the site I played at was super dry / dusty. My MWS was absolutely filthy, the bolt was covered all over in crap as was the nozzle. But again it ran like a champ. I’ve had pistols with less dirt in them fail. the point of this post is double pronged, I’m curious to know if anyone else has had the buffer tube cap unscrew? but more importantly I’m super impressed with its reliability, I’ve owned this for a good while now and I’m still like a big kid every time I get to use it2 points -

isn't that most triggers are non-binary aka trans? and of course bullpup triggers are gender fluid, unless they're 2-stage which is bisexual i think. i mean i lost the track of this somewhere around 2011.....2 points -

Ordered a gun fro them over 3 weeks ago. Asked them where it was and their answer was " check with your customs, it's your job to contact them - you left the EU!!!!!!!!!!!. So now its all our fault. This was follwed by a message," do you have a legal UKARA number? Of course I have, you asked for it before you would sell me the gun. Customer Servie gets 0 out if 10. £500 out of pocket and still no gun 4 weeks later and a company that cant be bothered. You can see that from their reply on Trust pilot.1 point -

understandable, easy to get carried away sometimes. always that disconnect between having the occasional chuckle at non-pc humour and your own heartfelt beliefs at the best of times, and the internet isn't the greatest for easily telling the difference, especially out of context.1 point -

Update: Well chaps I spent a good few hours at the shop today, tried out the mordred and also tried out the bastion (same internals, m4 design with a nice little groove in the hand guard) I've plumbed for the bastion, 3 mid cap mags and a tracer that will screw onto the end as I play a lot of CQB. My god that initial price ring up on the till 😬 but after trying both guns on their range the bastion seems a really nice bit of kit. I should be collecting it in a week!!!1 point

There are just two SM retailers that I trust. Also this one is the only one with the mk23 in stock.1 point

Well in my experience I've only come across one or two dickheads...using HPA. Now ARP9 users, i've come across quite a few of those acting like dickheads as well...should we ban ARP9's? just saying... (few of my mates run ARP9's..and they ain't dicks) We get it... You don't like HPA users, but why complain about it on a forum?1 point -
I'd also say, @Skara aside, this forum isn't really the place the moan about folks being clowns with their RIFs. And Skara is far enough away that we don't have deal with his 'you're all pussies' antics on the field . Folks that tend to frequent here all sing from the same hymn sheet in the grand scheme of 'twats are twats, and will be twats with whatever toy they're using'. More than within your right to find the hose and tank harms your personal immersion, but enforcing your preference on others only serves to put further barriers on what is already niche hobby. That latter of those statements doesn't exist to devalue your opinion, it simply runs parallel to it. It's a shame your work around is to limit the sites you attend, but I'm glad you've seemingly found a 'solution' that works for you.1 point

Prison's are designed to be able to be secure with a few guards as possible, they intentionally employ choke points, funnelling designs and are essentially inverse castles (designed to keep people in versus keep people out). I just don't think this is a good site for a large number of people. I think for prisons you need to design the event around the site. It needs to be asymmetric in terms of teams a few people as the guards who can lock down buildings etc and the rest as inmates trying to escape. That or you need to have far fewer players so they can't just lock everything down. My vote with 400 players on site is clusterfuck.1 point

What it says and the reality, is going to be very very different. That to me looks like just the total boundaries. The drops from the green sides into the moat looks around 2 stories. Sunset October is around 7pm. So that's unlikely to be usable. The chunk to the right is going to be parking and camping. You remove the open grass areas, which well are gonna be just that. Leaves you with about 20 very easy to lock down controlled buildings, that are designed to funnel people. Oh and a single bridge across of the bottom left part of the site is going to be so easy to lock down. For the first 20-30 or so people who get over it. No idea how accessible the higher ground is from the moat. So that might change things but this is going to feel a heck of a lot smaller with 200 people shooting you with hicaps. We went to the Gloucester prison and locked down that site with about 50 per site. I mean we have locked down woodlands sites with not many more. That site with 150 would be pretty epic but 400 from my experience of large games, its just going to be a cluster fuck of camping and ammo spamming. That after the first 20mins of any story will fall apart in to a skirmish. Maybe if they limit it to 400 rounds but that they have stated its not going to be milsim. Perhaps I am just jaded but large games usually tend to be pretty terrible mess after a couple of hours of marshalls trying to herd cats. Giving up, just standing back and lobbing the odd pyro for effect.1 point

THE TM MWS thread
Wild Weasel reacted to RMDavis for a topic
Has anyone built up an MWS PDW style rifle? 8.5" outer barrel or less as an example? Was thinking of building up a spare upper to do just that, but was worried about range/accuracy if you start going below the standard 10.5" found on the CQBR. As you would need to shorten the already short 250mm inner barrel to about 200mm! I currently run a 10.3" on my mini URGI with no issues, but to go for 8.5" in barrel size is quite different! P.S @Wild Weasel I also removed my HAO BCG yesterday as upon inspection I found mine too had started to cause damage to the entrance of the buffer tube. It would also occasionally throw the bolt forward when inserting a fresh mag, not ideal... Put the TM one back in and have no issues, shame as the HAO one looks awesome but I'd much rather have a rifle that works correctly and doesent chew itself up!0 points
