Used BBs for sale
SeniorSpaz87 and 11 others reacted to Jedi_Master for a topic
In a time of austerity the airsoft community needs to take the hit as well and do what it can to help. Having seen the sheer number of used BBs just lying unwanted on the ground I have decided to start collecting them up and will selling bottles of used BBs at discounted prices. Each bottle will contain genuine used BBs in a variety colours and weights from all major and minor manufacturers. Unlimited stock levels for one additional free bottle with each order just quote you UKARA license number. Key advantages as follows: Colour mix - great for confusing the opposition team into thinking there are more players shooting at them because of all the different colours. Tracer BBs included at no extra cost. Hassle free hop set-up - mixed weights will mean that there will always be some BBs in each bottle perfectly suited to your gun, simples. Aerodynamic performance - some BBs may have small dents and dimples just like golf balls and so they will fly further and faster than smooth BBs! Environmentally friendly - used BBs save the planet's plastic resources and is an example of true recycling (supported by European Green parties). Nearly new condition - used BBs are almost as good as new ones, having only been fired once so mint condition, a real bargain. Proven track record - used BBs have already been fired which proves that they are fully working. So, if you want to receive your bottle of used BBs (as well as help save the environment and do your bit for austerity) then click the LIKE button. NiMH Battery Storage?
Alex34 reacted to AK47frizzle for a topic
They're not volatile batteries so anything method of storage will do tbh, as long as it's not hot - some people even store them in freezers. As duck said, they die pretty fast overnight so it's pointless chargin them fully and leaving them expecting to have enough juice for a morning session.1 point -

JBBG have been doing this for yonks BullDog aka BULL$HIT bb's actually they wasn't that bad - worst ones so far been BBGuns4Less - FireBall 0.25's f*ck me they are dire eggs shape crap think 1 in 3 or 4 fire really short (if TriggerHappy says it coz of G&G - pi$$ off ) WOOOOHOOOOOO my 2,000th post of utter $hite (damn I wish I wasn't outbidded on the "Get a Life" fleabay auction yesterday) Maybe if you had designed a fancy new CQB site You could make the floor slightly sloped with a gulley for them to run/collect into making it easier to clear up/recycle and keep the corridors main paths free of bb's Reality this would require a lot of careful planning/costs into a decent indoor arena site Alas most sites can't afford this much planning/budget as well as time to construct a false floor No doubt though there must be $hitloads of bb's need clearing after each player has fired off say 2k heck even 1k for semi only indoor cqb say - 2 teams of 20 = 40k + that is a lot of bb's rolling around and will need tidying up where do there go...... The Trimex recycling plant of course1 point -

Lol my bad just re-read it. Yes I am a dick head haha. Josh, you can't reuse BBs in your weapons as once shot they could be marked, chipped what ever which can do damage to your hop, bucking, barrel etc.1 point -
Because there 0.05 pence each. Would u real be arsed? However I don't see why they can't be collected melted and remade into bbs, trafic cones or a corvette! Lol1 point

In all fairness jokes aside why cant we collect them from cqb sites and put them in shell launchers, s thunders etc their not accurate anyway1 point

Advice on goggles with built-in fan or fan kit
Lozart reacted to Jedi_Master for a topic
Still was not sure what was best so I ordered a Dye Precision I4 thermal paintball goggles from Amazon. £75, free P&P, and arrived the next day. Used the mask today at The Mall and had no problems with the lens fogging up, clear vision all day. Good field of view. It did get damp inside the mask with sweat but no condensation or mist on the lens. Although I could wear my glasses under the mask, they fogged up immediately so I took them off again.1 point -
Externals on the JG are certainly better from what I've seen. The Marui design is old. ORGA 6.23 R-Hop Decent hop chamber (PDI or Airsoft Pro or the ASPUK ones) Decent cylinder and head (PDI or Airsoft Pro or the ASPUK ones - which are rebrands AFAIK) Decent springs (PDI or ASPUK ones) Trigger (Laylax or PDI) Barrel spacers Scope that doesn't cost less than £60 BBs above .28 (the R-Hop will lift anything up to .45ish, and the longer R-Hops will do anything you can buy) Springer sniper rifles are quite easy to get right, thankfully. PDI stuff here: http://www.x-fire.org/e.index.htm1 point

Here's mine It is a tad on the heavy side but I like to think it will get me in shape Need to change the scabbard and redo the config to eliminate pouch slouch but I'm happy with the mobility it has considering what I carry.1 point

Go for the JG, pretty much the same- if not, better than the Marui and costs less.1 point

Good range for under £160?
sp00n reacted to ImTriggerHappy for a topic
Love all the advice but no one knows the starting point. You wont get anything particularly good in that price range consider upgrading what you have. But before you do anything recommended answer a few questions. What gun? What is the fps? What range are you getting now? What range are you hoping to achieve? Have you changed anything from stock? What make and weight of bbs are you using? Do you know how to set your hop properly and how to check your bucking is all good? Answer all those and then maybe you can get the right advice.1 point -

Like proffrink says sort your existing set up ( unless its absolutely rubbish) the £160 you want to spend on something new can make what you have awesome. I felt the same when I got my JG g63c and was playing on big sites outdoors. First thought was get something bigger and better then looked in to it more, and relised no matter what you buy new you'll need to upgrade if you want to have good range and rof, now I'm the one out ranging and have a higher rof than most things, and the best part is it's easy to do once you get all the info together Trawl through all the forums and decide what's best to make your current gun what you want.1 point

Good range for under £160?
ImTriggerHappy reacted to beastmode for a topic
What have you got at the moment? Then we can advice on what you could do to help increase range. As long as it's a decent make gun to start with you can usually modify it enough to get decent range.1 point -
Good range for under £160?
ImTriggerHappy reacted to proffrink for a topic
You could work on your existing setup. Maybe an R-Hop patch (or maybe just a better bucking) and heavier ammo. Would only cost you ~£15 to get done. What weight BBs are you using right now? To answer your question though, the slightly lower end stuff around the £150 mark is probably not going to compete with stuff that people have tinkered with. That's why people buy nice looking receivers and then work on them as project guns over a year until they have something really nice.1 point -

How do you fit Airsoft around work and home life?
CES_williamson reacted to proffrink for a topic
I think it's pretty disgusting for any company to ask you to work on a Sunday unless they're paying you a significant amount more to give up your time. It takes people away from their families, friends and hobbies - frankly, what's the point in living if you don't even get those two days off. Really, if they're making you work weekends with no additional pay then I'd say tell them to roll it up very tightly and stick it where the sun doesn't shine.1 point -
