  2. Personally, and this is personally, I don't take hits from two tones as they don't look Operator enough.

  6. Some of you might have seen my thread on my M14, well, paints arrived, and before I go ahead and respray the two tone parts, just wanted to stop by and ask if anyone has any tips, this is the gun so you can see which parts need respraying http://www.justbbguns.co.uk/product/549/2-TONE-GUNS-PRO/462/PAINTED-AEG-RIFLES/3125/GG-M14-AEG-BLUE Basically the barrel, top part and the stock cover. The barrel is metal, as is the stock, the top part is polymer, not sure if that makes any difference Was going to go with masking taping the wood and metal parts around the sights, but just wanted to ask if there's a better way to go around spray painting? Cheers in advance.

    Another M1911 question

Co2 is a gas and many companies refer to a gun being "gas blowback" if it accepts or runs on Co2. So don't be so harsh on Qlimax

    Another M1911 question

I was checking as normally gas isn't that high on Fps it's normally CO2. Yeah WE should fit

  12. I have one, the JG M4 inside is a piece of sh*t. Depending on which release of it you buy, the lower black sections may be painted in rubberized car dashboard paint, which rubs off very easily. Otherwise it's just plastic body kit with no other issues, any issue will come from the M4 inside, but it's not too hard to take apart, few screws and pins I've done lots of mods to mine, starting with putting a TM high-cycle M4 in it instead of the JG, currently re-shaping the top of it for an inbuilt scope, built a torch and laser into the bodywork so far.

  13. Ahh yes the JG thunder maul, Its just a JG M4 in a shell.

Get the gun chrono'd properly or record the sound/wav file and run it through audacity on pc or something..... we or I said this before in a previous post - the readings you are getting just don't add up I'm done on this for now, got up to squeeze my lemon and lost some beauty sleep (which I really desperately need a LOT of btw) so I'm going back to bed and fairly sure I'm not gonna lose any more sleep over this atm soz but I strongly strongly feel the readings are out or the gun is already SS DSG'd or something

2 Tone BB guns at skirmishes

A little story for you; not two-tone but similar. There is a regular who goes to my local CQB site with his son, who is about 16. he has a small Derringer single-shot pistol. In one game he was hiding behind a door in a building when another player burst in. Lad pulls his Derringer and the player promptly laughs his head off. Small bang later and said player came out with his hand up, looking rather sheepish...

I do enjoy the times we don't quite see eye to eye but we all know it is when it is all done properly the response really improves I'm gonna leave it as is for now coz I'm trying to work out where I'm going wrong atm

  19. I believe the real one isBakelite so not "plastic" as such but yes. Technically it's a thermosetting plastic but not plastic like your one is. Still. Happy painting!

  22. Couple of years back I sold a marui M870 online for a profit. There were none available to buy retail anywhere in the world at a reasonable price so I put it up intending to make a quick £50 over what I paid for it (didn't really get on with it for skirmishing, not my sort of gun it seems). Someone bought it within a day and I thought to myself, I could have made more there. Supply meeting demand, if the 'close the thread if it's over priced' rule existed, I couldn't have done that. In short, if the asking price is too high, people won't pay it.

I think i'm going to sample all the ones in the northeast and see which I prefer in terms of my style and what environment suits me best so i'm sure we will bump into one another at some point which would be good. I've made a few purchases so far, I've bought gloves, mask, and eye protection, all I need now is some scruffy old clothing for now and some boots and I should be good to go

  28. Following on from that ^^^^ "aggressive stripper" chemicals like Nitromors are fucking horrible and should not be used unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. The two tone paint used on your rifle is most likely Krylon and does NOT need such harsh and dangerous chemicals. If you decide you absolutely MUST use a paint stripper instead of fairy power spray and bit of elbow grease then I suggest you seek out one of the more environmentally non toxic types like Biostrip http://www.biostrip.co.uk/paint-stripping/biostrip-20-paint-stripper-spray.html

  29. Hi mate Not to plug my own video but i have a disassembly video for the G&G M14 EBR short version, ignore the bit about the EBR body work however the rest of the gun (barrel, gearbox etc) is relevant to you. If its only the outer barrel, upper and rear stock painted then i would recommend you disassemble the gun and strip the paint from them. You can use an aggressive stripper (lol) on the outer barrel as thats made of metal and won't be harmed by the stripper, the upper blue bit and rear stock use Fairy Power Spray otherwise using an aggressive stripper (lol again) may melt parts. I used an Aggressive stripper on my Kriss Vector and it melted certain parts so had to do a complete spray paint job on the gun. You may find that once you have stripped the gun it will look stock again and thats as far as you may want to go. I would recommend your prep your working area to ensure it is clean, sand lightly and wash the parts to be sprayed, apply 1 coat of primer and allow to dry (ideally 24hrs), sand down lightly and apply more primer, allow to dry, do at least two coats of primer and sand it again before Spraying colour. Spray the colour you want and allow to dry same as primer, apply at least 3 to 4 coats of paint with light sanding between coats. Once you have a sufficient number of coats on it you can apply some lacquer to the spray paint to protect it. I spent a a small amount each day for a fortnight, prepping the work area, cleaning and washing parts, priming, sanding, spray painting, sanding and applying lacquer to my Vector and now it looks the mutts nuts a sort of two tone sparkling black and bronze look it still has a few rough parts here and there from the aggressive stripper, nothing i can do about that but on the whole it looks great.

I am seeing a worrying general trend where companies are choosing what is legal and what isn't. They longer consider themselves morally led by the countries wishes but instead are imposing their own set of morality. I am seeing a big battle between the public at large and corporations that decide what can be said and what can be bought/sold and delivered. Free speech/legal trade likely needs further defence, not from the government but from companies.
