  1. I have offered you sound honest advice to your request to break the very rules and guidelines that allow us to continue the sport if you wish to take it to pm - by all means go ahead but to start directly insulting me just shows not only you are not very mature or wise to that effect I said for all I/we know you COULD be.......... How else are you gonna pay for an online transaction - credit card or paypal linked credit card unless banking has changed you need to be 18+ yes you could do a bank transaction if under 18 and working etc... I guess but normally.. most online transactions are using plastic or paypal which would normally require you to be 18 which you are not So I seriously suggest you calm the f*ck down a bit and not throw your dummy out the pram... that is a figure of speech btw I'm not saying you are still in nappies it was just a figure of speech about tantrums but feel free to pm me if you wish but I was offering assistance info and quoting facts about guidelines we all have to abide by

  2. On Land Warrior Airsoft's site, a UKARA number is a pre-requisite field for placing an order, it won't let you get to the next page without putting one in. so essentially you're bullshitting, either you put a gibberish number in and got a response from them saying 'this number doesn't appear valid' or you havent placed the order at all. either way this isn't what you stated, and any chance you might of had of persuading someone to risk imprisonment when you get caught shooting it in your local woods is gone. And calling someone offering you sensible advice a fuck isn't a good idea either. If you're under 18 then it's not an offensive thing to assume you might not have enough ban-account etc to be buying it yourself. you kid are the fuck, and a jumped up little one at that.

  13. Starting over again......... either contact LWA and get refund or pay for 2-tone or Zero One for free 2-tone Or just do your time and do 3 games etc... then you can get RIF I don't care if you are 17.99999 or 7.99999yrs old tbh coz it ain't me selling you the RIF or IF that is far as I go but this forum can not be seen to break rules or guidelines or tell you how to get around it I suppose some people buy 2-tone guns and the 2-tone "could" wear off or may have an accident/spillage but this forum can not be seen to openly assist people who do not meet the criteria it is watched by loads n loads of "guests" many may not be of the correct age and also this forum as well as this sport could come under fire if it was allowing this to take place That is about it - yes some of the regulations/rules/guidelines may not seem to make complete perfect sense in every paragraph/line but then there are loads of rules/regulations in life we all have to abide by - or at very least try to best advice is refund n wait - get skirmishing and you will be 18 & ukara'd before you know it then you can buy a nice gun and understand it all a bit better

  14. Don't be a dick for fucks sake. You could've just waited a bit and got it legitimately. It is not hard nor does it take a long time to be able to acquire a valid defence. You can't just 'borrow' a UKARA number anyway which nobody is willing to do because you're clearly being a nob about it.

  15. You join a forum and the first thing you do is beg the members to essentially lie for you to a retailer, and then have a hissy fit when people aren't nice about it? Might want to rethink this and start again.

  16. I think we ought to be questioning whether or not we need to "hate" anything like this. I for one am not going to be one of those sad gits sat in the corner with my arms folded and a face like a bulldog licking piss off a nettle complaining about how "CoD kids are ruining it for everyone". Get a grip FFS, we're running about playing at being soldiers. Have a bit of perspective.

  19. Wow I’ve seen some stuff but this is taking the biscuit. You really respect the sport we all play and yet you’re asking for someone on here to break a rule that is very important to this sport so you can get a RIF. Why don’t you like everyone else on here has done……. Work for your UKARA and buy it properly. Oh a little FYI, it ant a license it’s a valid defence. You don’t get a nifty little piece of paper or anything……………….. You’ve got some balls kid I’ll give you that. LWA like all the big retailers have the UKARA entry part in there order process. You’ve clearly not looked or in this case have taken it that someone will give you there’s

  21. It should work but the graphics card might be a bit low spec. If you don't try and run it on the ultra high settings it should be do-able though. ArmA was developed by the guys that wrote Flashpoint originally as part of Bohemia Interactive. When the developers and the publishers split a few years back the publishers continued to make games under "Operation Flashpoint" (Dragon Rising and Red River to be precise) and the developers went on to do ArmA. To use an appropriate set of comparisons ArmA is Milsim, OpFlash is an objective based skirmish, Battlefield would be your average Sunday skirmish and CoD is paintball. If you've played the ORIGINAL Flashpoint games then the almost vertical learning curve for ArmA will be somewhat familiar!

  25. If airsoft was war i'd use the following tactics; - First I'd hack the server/site of the organisers and attain a list of those attending. - I'd then use a drone with a BB gun to shoot people the night/day before while sat in their gardens, or simply drop a bucket of bb's so large on their house one was bound to hit them at somepoint (blown off the roof in a gust of wind while they get into their car hehe). - Everyone else would be taken out by the BB IED's placed at the entrance to the car-park, and any survivors by a BB mortar while they got sorted in the safe-zone. - Once i'd successfully annexed the airsoft skirmish site then I'd hire some milsim players to guard it and shoot anyone else that turns up to play, and not count anything they do towards the official totals. - and I'd make sure there was lots of news footage about me bravely intervening in stopping a group of fanatics from using their weapons of mass BB's for evil, and then spend years justifying my use of time and money in doing so rather than the morality of it. - finally i'd cash the giant cheque paid to me by laser-quest for forcing people back into their business.

  26. i was just speaking to a good mate of mine, he was telling me that ebay will no longer allow people to list items with ANY reference to firearms in the title, such as :- Glock G17, G18 etc etc MP5, MP7 etc L96 L85 H&K M4 etc etc so lets just say you need a part for a tm mp7 ... once all the listings have been removed, and apparently they are removing them, ebay wont be the place to go any more. To be honest i think that this is stupid. what do you guy's think?

    New player - NW London

Hello AFUKers, I played my first day of airsoft at The Mall on Sunday. It's been a long time since I've had such a blast. Though my legs are paying the price for all that running, crouching and twisting. I could certainly see myself playing regularly. Some of the lads I went with already have a lot of their own kit. I'm going to be hiring for a while so I can really look into what I NEED. Main reason for the post is to get some recommendations on other sites to play locally. I'm just inside the M25 at junction 16/17. I've seen the school, bunker, sandpit mentioned a lot. Price point and length/quality of gameplay are two main points of interest. Loved Reading but I would like to try some Woodland sites out too. So what's your local site and how is it? And what's your favourite site to play and why? Even if you aren't local then feel free to share, we could be persuaded to travel a little more now and again I'm sure. Hopefully see you in action!

I'm not condoning what the kids done and he's a bloody idiot for doing it, he's made a mistake about asking softers to break the law & that alone is stupid & shows his immaturity but none the less it is a mistake, that is how we learn from things The kid has been given ideas about how to rectify things & maybe he has finally learnt from his mistake ??

  30. did say bank transaction but most is credit card online which unless I'm really mistaken is for 18 yes switch card for u18 but technically that is bank transaction - well I'd say so unless they have relapsed the credit card regulations which I'd be gobsmacked if they have but I have been wrong from time to time F*ck me - I'm trying to offer assistance n stuff and tbh I'm done on this..... I get enough of this at home with my kids trying to argue or justify this n that yes they may have better qualifications than this ol' git but jeez they still have so much to learn..... I am done on this - I gotta go to work anyway

  31. Yeah but the man asked about new players yet to even skirmish seemingly focusing on it as they do? Is it because they like to upgrade machines they've yet to even hold, or because they’ve been informed/influence/conditioned by CoD and the like on the matter? My money is on the latter 95% of the time.

  32. Stock internals will be fine with a 7.4v lipo, to run an 11.1v you will need to do some internal tweaks and personally I think if you want an AEG which is going to last a good amount of time without having to replace various parts of the gearbox every now and then, I'd stick with 7.4v. Get yourself a decent smart charger such as a turnigy accucel 6 and check out the manual before using, in certain circumstances lipos can explode/combust (but they're pretty safe really). Component shop is a good source of lipos + chargers and all that electrical stuff. Would recommend a non-active braking MOSFET at some point as well, even a 7.4v causes quite a bit of arcing which in the long term damages trigger contacts.

  33. Here's the thing if you have done your research..... The RIF has normally gotta be delivered to the ukara'd persons address that is held on database so your gun will very very likely have to go some other guy's house Evike ??? or some Euro retailer ??? Evike want to send you email demanding paintjob money before shipping gun others also may not send it in case it is siezed n destroyed best thing is obtain refund and wait a couple of months when you are 18 and ukara'd

  35. I do wonder if this constant reference to upgrades that we see, even from people who have yet to play their first skirmish, is a product of kit upgrade bonuses on games?

  36. Ok. I've played Flashpoint. I've mostly been into console games though. My wife's PC should be able to run this no problem. It's 5th gen i7 CPU, 256GB SSD with two 2TB HDD's, 16GB RAM and a Sapphire Radeon R9 270X GPU. Will those specs run it ok? Her PC is for photo editing.

  43. I think hating a first person game is as logical as hating a hair do.....it achieves nothing really. People will always be drawn towards dangerous things, war, fighting and extreme situations. I'm pretty much in the minority, I dislike guns but do get a buzz from airsoft. I often get funny looks when I say to people that I know nothing about the military, never wanted to join nor do I know hardly anything about guns. Personally I like anything that brings people together to have a good time.
