The question is…. Buffer tube and ctr stock or the original folding stock 🤔

This is not really a question is it? I mean folding or no stock is the only way this thing of beauty. Lucky man.

Dare I ask what you paid for it?

Receiver change on my LCT RPK, going for a Romanian Paratrooper look, so the next part to source is an RPK dong lower handguard.

And to pick up RPK mags/drum mag

Also tested out the new Samoon GHK Alu feedlips on my Airtac adaptor, fit perfectly and should be nigh on indestructible for full auto noisiness

After much consideration on whether to go sniper or DMR, I decided DMR was for me. I wanted to go for something I could upgrade how I like, so I went for the Specna Arms SA-H06 One. Upgrades to bring it to DMR spec are pending, but I took it for a spin today at Ground Zero and I've got to say, I'm impressed with it's out of the box capability, well worth the money and I reckon it'll make a spot on DMR

So I have a how it started Vs how is it going post.

I recently picked up a sportsline is (thanks @HuttArmouries) so, being a shiny new toy I loaded it up with attachments and took it to a game. Crono was, disappointing coming in lower than expected. No drama I thought and for tacticool reasons I left them on for the first game. Soon discovered that is a lot of extra weight! So at the first break it all comes off in exchange for the hand rail irons. And I folded the stock...

But all is good, once I have figured out how my nonworking on comes apart (well, finding a small enough hex key) get it back together and working, this one will also come apart and I shall "trouble shoot"

Had a lot of fun with it and I'm even considering taking the stock off all together

Where it all started in the mid 90's, there were more but I surrendered them all to the police after the Dunblane massacre.

& Where my collection is now, replicas, props & airsoft (mainly AEG's) with room for more. Forgot I have a G36, Scar & a Glock 17 packed up for a skirmish in early June. I've also got manequins ktted out with Uniform & Pattern 58 webbing (styled as how I wore it in the TA in the early 90's), one with PLCE etc from the 2000's, one with DDPM from the 2010's & a growing collection of webbing from pattern 58 to modern day including bergens.

nice collection. tell me more about the EM2...replica, deact or something else?

It's a prop from https://shootandscoot.co.uk/ I've bought 3 or 4 props from them.

5x ICS M4 owner here. Older CS4-based ICS guns have M90/95 springs and downgraded motors (to prevent over-spin) for the UK market. They were also produced in an era when many sites operated a 328fps limit so sub-300fps was the 'standard' out of the box for them.

A few of mine needed spring replacements (I use XT M100 or M105 from @ak2m4 depending on barrel length) and replacement of the compression seals. A doddle with the split gearbox - there's a reason I have 5.

I would also suggest replacing the Piston and Piston head at the same time - full metal rack is the way to go with these guns due to AoE - which is a 'thing' with ICS and the stock plastic pistons - AoE correction is trickier compared to a 'normal' GB due to the split design. I just throw in a full-metal rack 14 tooth piston and call it done.

It would also be a good idea to pickup a few tappet plates from @HuttArmouries as they can be a bit weak on the older guns - although i haven't killed one yet.

Going stock-less of a lot of fun, my CXP-15 was run like that for over a year. You can get a QD receiver end cap from Fire-Support that replaces the stock extension on the receiver (ICS-MA-86).
