  1. With a name like elbonian prince you better be buying something obscure. And French.

PPS xm26 9 shells The bad: The fake muzzle device is broken, and I can't find the front clamp for it to mate to an m4 barrel (cough, cable ties, cough) The good: it works fine, and is actually quite accurate. Personally prefer it as a standalone, it just makes an m4 awkward and heavy. 9 shells. A few have fucked off to the 10mm socket dimension, if I find them, I'll include them. Collection is preferred but don't mind posting. Open to sensible offer.

WE M4 GBBR 3 mags I have some FG discs to go with it, depending on what gas you use. The rail is not a very good fit, I reccomend replacing. Would potentially be interested in a trade involving a good pistol package or an old school style aeg. Has had a paint job in the past (not by me) , but that's mostly been removed. I liked the very worn look it gave when removed. Shoots fine and action locks to the rear on empty with all mags.

  4. Thanks guys. Actually been travelling for a bit so haven't actually done anything with these since last post.
  5. I fondled one at the weekend. They shoot well, though no better than the already excellent MP9. The quality of the plastic is nowhere near the MP9. I don't like the overdone details but the plastic quality (I'm not suggesting it isn't durable) alone is enough to put me off, personally. However, if it gets more GBBR players, I think its definitely a good thing, as long as they don't start breaking too much and they stock spares.
  6. Sorry to see that. I've given up on reuseables due to theft. I had a purple one stolen, just like yours when they first came out. 2 weeks later a couple of rentals showed up with zero of their own kit but they'd got a purple TRMR. Wandered over and it was my serial number. Got that one back. It got stolen again by a rogue marshal, it got returned with apologies by the site owner. It then went missing at another site and never resurfaced. Had another impact last year dissappear and a friend a TRMR. All at different sites.

Just gauging whether it's work making this run off APS CAM870 shells, which will requite a little modding, or if its worth keeping as is and moving on. Is there any particular following for them or are they unloved?
  8. I'd 2nd an MP9. The asg/kwa MP9 is proven. The mags are 48rds I believe so actually very good for a GBB. There's now a cheap supply of mags for them with the vorsk.
  9. That was a slight rant in there but that's exactly what I'm trying to do. Setting a workshop up currently, I need a 3d printer but know nothing about them. I can make things physically and I've done bits of CAD, should pick that up easily enough, wanting to replace gaming time with 3d modelling time. But I have so many things I want to make.
  10. Someone needs to take the extra step from 3d printing some of this stuff and actually cast it, in Zamak or even aluminium. Like, use 3d printing for what it was actually supposed to be for.
  11. Hopefully they'll release an xm177/733/car15 literally anything with the integrated carry handle.
  12. Slowly getting there. I mean, this ones destined for the skip but v3 now and just working out manufacturing kinks. Few bits I'm not happy with or I'd buzz this one up and use it on a double Eagle.
  13. Allegedly The owner used to run a site that had a genuinely serious asbestos problem. A mate who's a very senior asbestos consultant pointed that out during a game day, was told there was no asbestos in the building and he didn't know what he was talking about. Theres asbestos at almost every indoor site, most of it dealt with properly. This stuff was especially bad. Anyway, site gets shut down by HSE (he didn't report it) and a prohibition notice served. Site is then sold on with the prohibition in place, unbeknown to them. New owners very nearly get shafted. The shop is situated in my local town centre and sell swords to dust heads. I've visited twice, and seen one of these happen. It was a less than 40 quid katana type blade and I wouldn't have sold the guy a water pistol. The shops got very little responsibility imo when it comes to a town centre with some problems. They've got a scheme to bypass the playing 3 times in no less than 2 months, and their stuff is overpriced. Sort of feels like honest John's used cars. I'd have to clarify further as it was years ago but another friend allegedly had to take out a CCJ against him or his business partner.
  14. Is this anything to do with Staffordshire Militaria? If so, I would avoid.
  15. If it got more people to read it, that'd be worth it imo. I wouldn't have read starship troopers without watching the film. Veerhoven got the wrong end of the stick with his interpretation of his reading of it I think. Same for Steven kings the running man too. Or do androids dream of electric sheep.
  16. Thanks. Like I said I'm really not sure how I was to explain it.
  17. Anyone read any good books lately? I've just read Joe Haldeman's "The Forever War" and how the hell that isn't a film yet is beyond me. Gone right in at number one of favourite reads.
  18. It's the resistance rifle in the original terminator. Kyle Reese has one. I met Michael Beihn a few years ago and he's a genuinely nice bloke, a mates got a signed pulse rifle and a all of the T1 terminator guns, except he's missing the valmet. I like it. I think it's quirky. It's relatively straightforward, in that it's just some parts to stick onto an AK rather than a full build with gearbox alightment and magwells to build ect. The body, unlike lots of bullpups, will actually hide a motor of the base gun so it conducts itself well to a build. It also strips very easily, the body is actually only attached with 1 bolt and a hook. Building one properly is now within my skill set and tooling. It's also exactly sat in a weird time period of guns I really like. Civilian, rail less, but very useable. Like a TMP, Tec9, ruger mini 14, mossberg maverick ect. Does that make sense? I know it's maybe not logical, but it's what I like, and I really have fancied one for a while.
  19. If you ever manage to get a TK VP70, they're genuinely so much nicer than the HFC/LS. Though I hate them all, vile things 😂 Ive just thought this might be worth posting too, a GBB Spas 12. Totally impractical shell ejector. A hybrid of ktw, Marui and maruzen
  20. I've done one offs and such before but looking to move into small batch work ect. First (sort of) full gun is going to be a small batch of Valmet M82s. I have the facilities to manufacture the metalwork and am working on the body, as its urethane it's actually a feasable thing to start with.
  21. A HWS M2019 is my grail rif too @Skullchewer I know someone who can get them quite easily but they're bloody expensive. And I'm not overly thrilled with the build quality of HWS. The one I was most happy with was this DH17 with a genuine singlepoint oeg and block of milled aluminium on the front that I made on a lathe.
  22. Setting the machines up to do them rather than as one offs, which is time consuming for now but faster in the long run. Have discussed doing them for the Spas 12s with more detail which will be a little more expensive but I'm sure there will be a market. It's significantly cheaper in terms of tools to make the pump channels go all the way and fill with a tab. The sheriff Spas 12 cage is made like this.
  23. Sorry, I can't do that. I'm gunslinging all weekend after.
  24. I do, but not sure if I will be able to get permission from the wife. Local as well.
