Shorter carbine version is still £299 on fire support though, the RRP is how much the weapon is NOW not what the receipt says. Receipt going with the RIF to prove warranty? Mmmm dunno how that would work, if it does great good news for the potential buyer. The fact it's ready to paint just means someones purposely taken the finish off, so yeah I think a new and real RIF wins there. Cross advertising? No, this is where people look to see who's being a little too ambitious with their pricing. Throw whatever tongue in cheek positive spin on that you will but you'll find it's not beneficial to your sale in the long run. The people in this thread discussing this are your ideal candidates for constructive criticism, we're not biased in your favour and we sure as hell won't be buying your overpriced goods so will happily advise you to get to a sensible price point 🙂

After an 8 year break from airsofting, I have found myself lacking hobbies during the summer. Other than clay shooting and fishing. So just purchased a VFC Avalon calibur! Wohoo here we go again!

This quite possibly could be one of the best/worst purchases I have ever made. Musing with my tech the other day about the upgrading possibilities of the Umarex MTar X95 Plastic Polycarb gearbox LPAEG. Figured I might give it a go if the price is right. Figure the RC Motor can be replaced with a neo RC motor. Barrel can definitely be changed for a longer tightbore to bring up the 230 FPS up to 250-260. Sort out the compression and might even top 270 without changing the spring. Hop unit is on on/off only dealy, so will be looking at a setting to lift .25's or .28's. Managed to find one on a German site for only 42 Euros, 10 euros postage. A 5 euro discount for orders over 50 euros so grabbed an Element piston head whilst I was at it. That's fair enough but it is slightly unrealistic is to expect a second hand buyer to burden your initial "additional" outlay because it wasn't in stock so paid the rarity tax and you had to buy it in 2 tone when for barely anything more they can buy new in "real" colours now. As pointed out above, if you aim for around 60% of the CURRENT retail price you are probably in the right ball park. Congrats for not having a major diva strop though (many do) 😎

Now, now, that's not a fair comparison. You've have to pay another £10 to get it in two tone first, then strip it off.

That's when I first decided to do airsoft 2 years ago, bought a set up got in trouble with the wife as she found the receipt so sold it all, then went a year and decided to get going again (got my stuff delivered to work then snuck it into my shed gradually).
