So in all my various dealings and buying and selling ive ended up with about 30 magazines for the kj works m93r rebranded by si. Minor problem is that noone seems to have one. Ive never seen one in the wild and no one wants to buy the mags. Secondly ive always wanted some sort of little sub machinegun as both a sidearm to my lmgs and as a nice light gun for more compact fields. and so I decided to build one. Ive made a new nozzle to work with these mags but it uses glock rocket valves and piston heads. It blows back already but obviously I cant test feeding or fps yet. Either way I didnt really expect to get it this far but it just worked first time I tested it XD. Im probably gonna go for something like a vz23 with a simple metal tube upper. Eventually a beretta mx4 storm may be on the cards since these are beretta mags. We will see how it goes.2 points -

As far as I know: Full auto rather than burst, A1 style Carry handle Sight, Painted in the same black paint as SLR's rather than the usual grey. Beyond that I think it's nuances in markings like having serial numbers on both halves of the receiver and the crows foot / broad arrow stamp.2 points -

Hoping this will help locals give this site consideration for a visit, sorry for the wall of text. Armageddon Airsoft: The Woodland - £20 walk on. First time at this site depsite being on my doorstep and I have nothing negative to say about anything within the sites control. The site had a raffle for a CYMA Deagle AEP on the day at £2.50 per ticket. Staff were super friendly and chatted with all players all day (incuding the owner) even getting involved in the games later on. No issues with hit taking or similar. Everyone attending was there to have fun. Three dogs mooching around the safe area at all times is always appreciated. Longer break between game modes due to the warmer weather we've been having. We started out with a 'capture the objective' game mode where teams had to activate/de-activate lights on an objective box between the two team spawns. Our team were second to the objective but handily dispatched the other team and defended thee objective as the enemy team declined to use the better sight lines afforded from their side of the field. Great comms across all players. Second game was an attack/defend scenario further back in the site. Defenders with 3 lives, attackers with unlimited. The defenders who last the longest win. We attacked first getting bogged down (quite literally) in some places due to stubborn defenders who were eventually relieved. Again, no issues with hit taking or similar. Switching sides meant we were defending and we had elected to not reload our mags leading to a overly long delay into the attack as the attackers filled up. We outlasted the attackers despite some minor confusion over how much of the site was playable (given it's literally a block of woodland). Regardless, we held out and won. By lunchtime, it was 2-0. Sadly, players left during lunch but that can't be helped. Teams shuffled randomly to assist balance. After lunch was capture the flag. The flag was in a very exposed middle area between the two spawns. I'm pretty sure the bolt action players could reach each other spawn. The field was super wide but narrow if that makes sense. Mostly my focus was on the right flank as it had some heavy shrubs/bracken offering concealment and limited structures for cover. After fumbing a pyro throw and being killed by a likewise reply I went left from spawn and moved through the pyramid style barricades and log walls that had been constructed. After 4 or 5 clean semi-auto kills the action on my flank died down and game end was called with the enemy team getting the win. 2-1. It was during this game that half my charging handle decided to drop off. Amazing. The final game I played was 'duo kill confirmed' where everyone had one armband which was your 'life'. If you got hit, you counted to 10. If, within that 10 seconds, anyone came to claim your armband (and you were left without one) you were out. If you counted to 10 and no one claimed it, you were back in. The spicy rule to this game; if you killed someone and took their band, it's a extra life. In theory, you could have as many lives as players on the field if you killed them all and took their bands. If the enemy you killed had multiple bands, you can only take one while they count down from 10. For this game mode, myself and the player I was teamed with purposely backed ourselves into the corner of the play area so that we only had two angles to watch. We were engaged in a lengthy trade off with another duo resulting in nothing but wasting ammo and the enemy duo retreating as well as discovering strange hop issues arising from both our rifles. Fuck. After a few minutes of fuckery, we managed to get our rifles settled in time for TWO separate teams joining forces against us, pushing from both sides. This was our Alamo and my excuse to break out all of the pyro I had brought. One of the enemy split away and pushed to our left who I 'killed' several times but was never close enough for me risking running to take his band. My partner was in a slightly elevated tower watching the mid and right, delaying the other three enemies as much as physically possible. Eventually the enemy on my left got close enough I could just throw pyro at him to get the kill and delay his attack but still not close enough to take his band. Then it happened so quick, my partner was hit, I killed his killer, I was killed, partner was back in - killing my killer allowing me back in, rinse and repeat. The enemy pushed closer all the time this was going on and eventually ended with myself and my partner being out and we watched the final two teams constantly trade fire two feet away from each other while laughing before calling it a draw realising it was fruitless. Negative: In small areas it was boggy, almost lost a boot at one point Also, nettles suck which I knelt in a few times plus thorns. Nothing new to woodlands players. Positive: What a great day, will definitely be going back here. Owners, site, level of play, game modes and players were fantastic. Can't recommend enough.2 points -

Good sunny Sunday to everyone I've opened my workshop back up and I'm taking in repairs again I would like to add that I do have a full time job and that any work taken on will be done in the evenings because of this I would just like to keep my work to repairs of broken guns to get guns back to working order so people can play, taking on bigger projects like DMR conversions or high speed builds won't be my preference, not that I can't do them but I'm not able to range test at my current location I can work on the majority of AEG's I do mainly specialise in M4's, MP5's G3's or anything H&K but I've probably been inside 95% of airsoft guns I'm based in Tunbridge wells in Kent so drop off for Kent players is fine, guns can be posted to me but customers must cover the cost of delivering each way I have most spares in my workshop to get a gun back to life but if you wish to supply new parts just make sure they are compatible My prices are very reasonable as this isn't my main income it's something to keep me busy and to make use of my workshop again so I charge £35 for a full aeg service which includes a full strip down and clean and re-grease, reshim and checking all components for wear, cleaning barrels, re-wiring if necessary Feel free to message me here or drop me a message on my Facebook page (although sometimes I don't always get the notifications 🤔) [email protected] Or Facebook.com/strongarmairsoft1 point -

What makes it different is the markings. In the real world, the 701 was a Full auto export rifle, with export colt markings. Compared to the USGI issued 705. Which had U.S government markings and burst fire. So all those airsoft auto A2 lowers, but U.S markings are all wrong. Now with mine. Up till recently, no one made the correct export marked lower till angry gun released their gbb 733 body. So, a few years ago I had to have my lower engraved to replicate what was issued to UK troops.1 point -

Yeah, that poncho roll really is an awkward place. That makes sense that it is bug out kit rather than acessable stuff. Pistols as well, I may just bite the bullet! @gavinkempsell great recommendations holster, hadn't seen that store yet. It's not a hard core milsim more filmsim with day shooting and evening social. I will need the grab a hex burner for tea but that'll be the limit. I have volunteered to be medic so was hoping to shove those supplies into the kidney pouches. But I might play around strapping and such like to see if I can get the pack to work over one shoulder instead....1 point -

Just the o-ring inside the nozzle (or the tip of the cylinder head tube bit). If it's not mating properly with the lips on the hop rubber, your nozzle is the wrong length.1 point

Sounds like a 1980s haircut and/or band. What's the mechanism in those? Me, not so much made as slightly tarted. From this gopping abomination... ... to this gopping abomination. Needs more greeblies, weathering and maybe a chonky barrel - although I actually quite like the stubby look, and every gram saved on these is welcome.1 point -
After quite the hiatus, I stopped making excuses and got out there again to die for the Emperor at Area 66 yesterday, with my freshly painted and sanctified XR-5 doing lasgun duties. Looks great, shoots like an under-hopped, under-powered, over-weight piece of junk that required wild bursts of fire to hit anything. So, a pretty good facsimile then. Fun was had in the heat, but it was strictly a walking day. I binned off the costume and junk-gun at lunch and went out TAC-41 sniping in the afternoon with much more success. The out-of-the-box-plus-a-spring performance of those things is great, but I'd make a rubbish sniper - far too much chuckling and "Git rekt, scrub!" from the bushes. It was a decent day despite a big stag-do party being there, they were split up and generally played OK. Not enough marshals, but fortunately not much need for them. One interesting thing they did was to tag guns with a cable-tie, but not trim it until walk-on for the first game, which is a commendable attempt to catch chrono-dodgers and make pre-game chrono a bit more meaningful.1 point

I don’t think it identifies as a carbine any more 😂 Probably the most problematic build I’ve had, but it’s finally done! Umarex G36C with a custom barrel extension (It’s about .4” too long 😬) Kurz style gas block, Ultima H-Key rail, SOTAC (I believe) EOTech and magnifier and a LLM when it arrives. Stock needs drilling to fit as the Umarex one isn’t correct for the impression, hence it just “resting” and the fire selector markings need removing and replaced with the “SEF” Reference attached, Luftlandeaufklärungskompanie 2601 point

Unfortunately scammers are drawn to the Wanted ads like flies on shit, after all half of the work is done, they know what you want so now all they need to do is convince you they've got it, which they'll do using somebody else's pictures. As long as people remember to only pay using something like PayPal goods & services, never friends & family or bank transfer, always keep the comms here, don't be tempted to use WhatsApp or other encrypted comes that the seller suggests. Ask plenty of questions, request photos of the kit with obscure items in them, pint of milk & copy of a UK paper or similar, & if you've got the slightest concerns or the seller pressures you, walk away, nothing we play with is worth the stress of being scammed out of your hard earned. Oh yeah, & ALWAYS report the seller to the mods, as well as discuss it in the open with other forum members, keeping g scammers out is like trying to hold back the sea, but knowledge is power overs these jizzbuckets, so share it.1 point
