As above. Lipos aren't the ticking time bomb some people seem to think they are if you use a little common sense2 points -

I've just seen a holiday advert on the TV "Book by 31st July and your children go free". I know the holiday industry's having a tough time, but I hardly think kidnapping kids and making televised demands like that is the way forward.2 points -
Lipo storage
shamus5178 and one other reacted to concretesnail for a topic
Lithium batteries release oxygen when the burn so an air tight container doesn't really help matters. An ammo tin with the rubber seal removed is a good start, a battery safe is better. It's a box to contain the batteries with a filter built into the lid. I use an ammo tin for storage of lipos, with the seal removed and bat-safe box for parallel charging lipos.2 points -

Common sense is key and if in doubt, throw it out. I've seen and caused a fair few lipo fires and abuse is always a trigger, although that's much korw common in fpv flight than airsoft I think.1 point -

How hard is it to make even semi-relevant comments, even "that's a nice gun" in the "what've you bought recently" thread, or just general replies in countless off-topic posts? I mean, come on ๐คฃ (Bots: don't get any ideas ๐)1 point -

I took advice I read somewhere, and removed the rubber gasket on my ammo can. The lid now locks down but is only a loose fit, so should let enough gas escape to prevent Bangy McBang-Face from making an appearance1 point -

https://perunairsoft.pl/mosfetmanual.pdf However, i would probably have gone for something like the Perun AB++; it gives you active braking, burst control and precocking and is installed in the same way.1 point -
ICS L85 trigger not returning (broken spring housing on trigger mechanism).
Dan Robinson reacted to Speedbird_666 for a topic
Nope. The entire switch setup has actually been patented by ICS. I actually have one on my desk in front of me - belongs to my neighbour after I replaced the one in his L85. I still scratch my head at the mechanics of it - some very clever people at ICS - just wish they used materials other than ABS and potmetal to put it together. If you need me to pull it apart for pictures, let me know.1 point -

If they're not open to offers though, for example, and you decide you know best and offer as such, you can't really criticize them for getting shirty. You're free to make offers even if a seller hasn't said they're accepting them, but the sellers are equally free to respond as they like. Manners only take a moment, but it could be argued that unsolicited offers -- especially ones that don't relate to the price the seller is seeking for -- is also rude, however "right" you think you are.1 point -

Kit looks good, although I am surprised that 13 posts in, nobody has yet commented on the lack of pens. "I won't argue that it wasn't a no-holds-barred adrenaline-fuelled thrill-ride, but there's no way that you could perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork."1 point
