  1. I have done hundreds of purchases and sales on various airsoft forums and Facebook. Not once has it ever turned to threats or abusive messages and that includes times where I've taken too long to post items due to life getting in the way, it happens. Airsoft seems to attract scammers, they are rife, especially from people who have little or no feedback. They are not cheap items that are in that sort of grey area while not being serious cash (thousands) that could attract proper police attention. Buyers and sellers should be aware of this, they should therefore act accordingly, the minimum of which is reasonable comms and reasonable posting times. Buyers should do some sort of due diligence and sellers need to demonstrate they aren't scammers. If you've received threatening or abusive messages from more than one person I'd suggest you're the issue. As has been mentioned if you have the time to list an item, take people's cash and then not have the time to either post it relatively promptly or respond to messages asking where their item is (or even better, manage their expectations regarding postage, "I'm away with work for the next x amount of days, it'll be posted on...." ) etc then maybe you shouldn't be listing them?! What might be a low value item of little consequence to you could represent a lot of hard work and saving for that person and you being too busy with other things you deem more important than pewing despite taking their cash or communicating isn't really on. Life does happen, accidents and emergencies happen, people can be numpties but with smart phones, emails and the forum are available 24/7 from pretty much anywhere and a quick message doesn't take long. Whatever is going on, I hope it improves for You, threats to you and your family arent acceptable and you probably have a point that people should have a bit of slack/understanding for other humans.

More to life than pewing !

Not entirely sure how your kit sales have escalated to threats against you & your family (which obviously isn't acceptable) but then I don't know who you've been dealing with, nor the tone of of messages between you & your buyers. I will also agree that yes, life is more important & does get in the way of airsoft...... BUT If you've got time to put sales threads up, give out your payment details & take the money, then you need to get the gear sent out in a prompt manner. Edit: i should add that if "life", or more to the point, emergencies, do prevent you from getting stuff posted, you need to be 100% transparent about this & keep buyers in the loop. This place is full of members with loads of great feedback, & for good reason😏

  4. I met a magical fairy yesterday who said she would grant me one wish. "I wish to live forever," I said. "Sorry," said the fairy, "I'm not allowed to grant that particular wish." "Fine," I said, "then I want to die the day after the house of commons is filled with honest, hard-working, bipartisan men and women who act only in the people's best interests. "You crafty fucker!" Replied the Fairy.

Hey mate just happen to be in Camoraids and noticed a ngrs mp5 being worked on and they are using the new FPS TM ak pistons for the mp5 with a lil modification. Worth speaking to them with how long TM spare parts take.

Second the statement about facepro....used to never use it and just accept guys shooting their load on my face. But after one BB hitting me open mouth and getting swallowed, once the flashbacks to catholic school passed I vowed to use facepro. Also, before the game starts get you and your mates to shoot each other first. It'll get you over the anxiety of "does it hurt" and help you enjoy the game from the get go. It's what I did with my 12 year old nephew admittedly I got a bit too much joy from shooting him but the little fucker kept taking the piss out of my name so worth it. Enjoy the game call the hits and enjoy the game.its not about getting kills it's about playing the objective helps to think that way so that you don't get wound up if you think people aren't calling hits.

  12. Outsider view point: You say you've sold and bought a lot but you have only two pieces of feedback. Randomly calling someone a nonce on your profile is not a good look. Pretty serious claims about the threats. Why not escalate that issue, appropriately?

  13. I agree with the OP, from what I’ve seen, it seems the majority of airsoft retailers want to charge over the odds for P&P when it comes to smaller items. As was mentioned earlier, I feel like it’s partly for simplicity and just charging a flat rate for shipping, but it just feels a bit crap paying more for postage than the actual cost of them item you’re looking to buy.

  15. Little update for you guys. Charger turned up earlier this week and I thought I’d give it a quick spin tonight. Really happy with it for the money! Great little charger that is more or less plug and play. Once you’ve set the charge voltage and charge current, literally plug in the battery, charger assesses the load and starts charging. Shows you all the information you need, and once it’s done it automatically stops charging. Last used settings are saved too so, next time (provided you’re charging the same or similar battery) just plug it in and away it goes. Recommended for anyone looking for a cheap little charger.

  19. Definatley …… and you never know even with failed crowd funding, (except for the ‘pay me to develop my idea’ as opposed to ‘pay up front to get production going’) the videos show that at least prototypes were made and they could ultimately find their way out to the world and eventually sold on For a not actually bouncing ‘bouncing Betty’ there is/was the RAP4 series, and a couple of other brands. These did make production, still not a lot as a niche product and over a decade ago, but they could be about. Spares could be harder to find, but the one with just a round seal is probably findable as a rubber grommet I can’t find footage of the ones we used here: A real benefit for use is they can be buried rather than just flicking leaves around, however for that event we used our ones plus a stack on loan from RAP4. All good, except when it came to digging them all up. We were short, and it was loan ones that were missing (potentialy sticky fingers as ours had markings and the loan ones were clean and fresh anonymous from the box) or sunk into the mud We had a few follow up sessions with metal detectors, and also over a few months the site were finding them. I think we ended up with all of them or a couple missing All original placements were photographed and Geotagged, but we made the mistake of sending other people to reset and didn’t entirely remember where they were placed —- it’s buried on the path near a bush across from a tree It was a 12gram powered one that we used, pop in a 12 gram, some powder and a leprechauns condom. Step on it and a pin punctured the 12 gram, the tiny rubber condom built up some pressure before bursting a spout of powder The videos I can find seem to be using refillable cartridge valves like 40mm shells Traditional ‘plate’ styled mines: These are similar to the ones we used, but actually has a better safety. A pin locks the pressure piece so it can’t be triggered when setting up (I mentioned the potential lack of safe disabling on the bouncing Betty, but our original RAP4s could be unscrewed and rendered safe even without a safety pin) But a safety pin when setting up would be useful - on our first use one of the guys asked ‘how many turns should I do?’ Just as he made a twist and blew powder into my chest …. ‘One leds turn than that’

  24. KWA and KSC are manufactured in same factory, HFC are direct copy ( also do the excellent stretched T77 Taiwanese Army Version ). The HFC mags are better than KWA/KSC. ASG just re brand stuff. Maruzen ( rare ) and Western Arms ( hens teeth ) are totally different designs.

Today I bought myself some sensible walking boots and a rucksack and went up to the Lake District, walked for about 5 miles stopped and sat on a stone wall and had a flask of coffee. Then I walked another 5 miles and had a biscuit and then I... Sorry, I'm rambling...!

  27. £150 new now, so you're swapping 3 mags for a warranty. Mind you, given the number of pre-abused "new" gnus that PatrolBase apparently send out, maybe that isn't a crazy trade.

  31. Went to my local District 23 last night and as I pulled up the first thing I saw through the shop door was this CZ shadow 2. Been eying one up for ages, and it was the only one they had and in the colour i wanted so... I think it was inevitable that it was coming home with me. Never got chance to use it last night though as they had no Co2 left. But hey ho. Still mega happy.

  32. I feel vaguely grubby 😕 I'm not going full hpa. I bloody love my GE M870 Shorty, a lot, but the gas capacity is too low for me to fully enjoy it. The conversion to HPA took less time than to open the packaging. So here we are. Am I a filthy speedsofter now?
