I have 6 but rarely run them all. In CQB type games I can use 2 - 2.5 in all. I often change mags in a lull in the fighting before they are empty just so I don't get caught out. Woodland games are a bit different, especially on windy days but if you know the limits of the platform it isn't too bad. If you are sensible and only shoot at what you can see / hit 35rds goes a long way.4 points -
My Apoc Build
Tackle and 2 others reacted to Adolf Hamster for a topic
Its a good thing the aim of this build is to look like its made of a bunch of crap found lying around. Means i can say without guilt that it looks like a bunch of crap you found lying around3 points -
Signed up for an apoc game. May get cancelled but sure ima try an apoc load out anyway. So tonight started on my Tommy. Took all the plastic wood furniture. Started trying bits and pieces to see what can work. And currently come up with this... Obviously keeping my drummag. Batteries into foregrip from my mp5. Will be painted to look like some form of fuel canister and taped on. Old single binoc for a sight( have much yo do on that but likely cable tied on.) M4 raised front sight and possible that front d grip thing... Stock is actually an old shower head bar holder... Will be cut down and bolted on. Grip I've taped up and thinking to wrap in extra cables and tape over further to look botched Power cables will be external and taped up to look extra sci-fi. Thoughts sofar? Much will likely fail change etc. Am trying yo get everything to look and be temporary. Will also probably repaint my m4 as a backup anyway. Probably my pistols too... plus have to sort clothes and belts etc. Awaiting more info on the gangs to start those...2 points

Yep, I have a TM M4 and pistol speed loaders and they fill the mags fine, you just get huge thumb muscles ππ€£2 points

Weather is saying 14c for Sunday. Damn thatβs cold! Guess autumn is finally upon us. Abbey ultra predator gas should be fine I assume? On a bb loading note, Iβve just got a Marui XL speed loader come in today. Itβs still kinda tough loading the mags. That spring is one tough mother thatβs for sure. Is that what people are generally using to load their mags?1 point

I am currently working on strapping my DTD to a Helikon TMR (using a few zip ties), so I can carry the MK23 with my AEGs. On my sniper kit I'm using a simple universal fabric holster ziptied to a backpack's left shoulder strap. EDIT: https://i.imgur.com/lMfG9nN.jpg This is a very old kit I built 2 years ago. The concept is the same. https://i.imgur.com/Z0dvR0e.jpg https://i.imgur.com/nkVf1Nx.jpg A more recent kit, this time the holster is ziptied to a chest rig, but the result is the same.1 point

Not sure if it'll fit with the look you're going for but I've got plans to use one of these for a sci fi/post apocalyptic loadout some day. With a bit of weathering I bet it'd look mint1 point -

Don't. I've already got one fully 3d printed gun in the works and that's being a bigger ball ache than expected. This was just to check the proportions.1 point -

You just skipping the 3D printing SCAR accessories part and just 3D printing the whole thing?1 point -
If you've had your mags for 2 months they will be the type 2 new mag so will hold more gas than the original mags so my take on this is that the green gas mod isn't needed....1 point

Normal green gas is just propane with silicon added..... I normally run 7. 6-8 is about right anymore than that and you have more money invested in the mags than in the blooming gun.1 point -

Angry gun adjustable Nozzle or Npas or widebore barrel or shorter barrel (which is not the best option)or you have to wait until the winter brings the cold :,D Maintenance ,depends on what type of oil or grease you prefer . In my opinion: - Teflon grease on the Piston Head - Heavy Oil on the Trigger Unit - Light Oil for Bolt,Buffer Tube I hope it helps !1 point

I've just put my first proper WW2 kit together after years of spending all my money on guns instead... I went for a British Commando look mostly because... Well I'll be honest, it was the cheapest. And having just mostly drained my funds getting the new Northeast Sten MkV, it needed to be! It considerably helped cost wise that I already had the bergen, scarf, and got the boots off my dad, from his time in the navy. I will be replacing those ill-fitting gaiters as soon as possible. For a more early war look, removed the scarf and grabed the M1928. Now I've just got to get to a game in it!1 point -

I wasted about a mag(hi cap) on a "teflon terrorist"(rental) yesterday.I took out everyone around him,he flinched when I suprised him from behind at distance,he then moved tyres to hide behind and guess what...he was one of the last ones in.It was a warning of things to come as he was involved in near fisticuffs at the end of the day..closest I've seen to phsyical contact,I advised the marshall to step in,it's not needed at any site.0 points
