  1. Interestingly it's actually against the pp t&c to charge it as extra...

  2. @Lee_3120Airsoft As others have stated, the purpose of this thread is to highlight adverts which are potentially exploitative or (as the title says) living in the clouds. If you look back over the last few pages or so there have been various adverts which have received criticism for a variety of reasons but namely due to over ambitious pricing. Just because you paid £120 (example price) for something doesn't mean it retains that value, or even 90% of that value. Quite the contrary, as virtually all goods in airsoft are subject to wear and tear thus increasing depreciation. You also need to factor in manufacturer, model and condition. In this particular instance you're attempting to sell a HFC pistol, a brand which is far from well regarded and which is firmly in the budget end of the price spectrum due to the product quality and usual pricing. Unfortunately in this particular instance it sounds as though you got caught you by one of the more nefarious retailers in the market and overpaid significantly. I'd also suggest taking time to consider the advert itself. If you're looking to sell something then right off the bat you need to have high quality pictures which show what you're attempting to sell at its best, something which your current advert completely fails to do. Secondly you need to price the item accordingly, based on the above criteria, should you have uncertainty or doubt about it's value there's always the appraisal section of the forums. Finally the way you decide to communicate and interact with the community goes along way. As it stands you're new to the community here with no previous seller/buyer feedback and with no post history on this forum, something which will immediately sound alarm bells for most. While it's disappointing to hear that a product you paid for is worth significantly less than you expected you have a few different choices when it comes to the way you react. The most productive reaction would have been to seek advice from the community, there's a staggering wealth of knowledge here and no end of helpful people. Alternatively you could have elected to ignore the post here and leave your advert as is (in the hope someone picked it up) or adjusted your advert accordingly. The last choice was to react in the exact way you did, which was to become defensive and abusive, something which will never garner a positive result. Where you go from here is up to you but as a first impression on this community it leaves a lot to be desired.

  3. This is my Glock. I bought it on here for £60. Sixty. Pounds. It has Marui and WE internals. Guarder trade marked externals. And a custom made compensator/thread cover. £100 for an HFC Piece of crap that looks like it's been abused is ridiculous. In your profile it says you're new to Airsoft, which is fine, totally ok, but too new to obviously know that: 1) bbguns4u / justbbguns are scam artists selling junk at overinflated prices (with ridiculously made up RRPs) 2) HFC is not a good brand. If you paid anymore than £70 for that plinker, you've been had mate.

  9. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these retailing for £90 from those crap bbgoonz sites?

  10. This is the same pistol that can be bought for £89 brand new. https://www.justbbguns.co.uk/hg190-airsoft-pistol/ And look at the state of it. AND it's an HFC. Why would anyone buy this when they can have brand new WE for £100/110 or new Marui for £120-130. Absolute dreamer! EDIT: "Minor Scratches" ?! Jesus wept! There's FOOD in the front slide grooves!

  11. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

  13. Pretty much everything on their site is "on sale", all the time. If you paid £160 for that, you paid twice as much as you should have. You realise that in order for someone to want to buy your manky mess of a pistol from you, that you have to offer it for less than the lowest price that it can be had for brand new, right?

  17. I can't seem to find anyone selling this new for £160. I can only find it for £90. If you want a successful sale, it'd be an idea to drop the price.

  18. So you pry on new people that come on this website trying to sell "used" items as it clearly says in the description, wow honestly mate do you have anything better to do. The description clearly says... USED can you not read? Ofc it is going to be abit beat up aahahahahaha

  19. Mots to try and stop people buying overpriced junk such as you are selling, plus we enjoy when you come on here trying to defend it 🎣🎣🎣🎣

  20. First of all it isnt food it is dirt from a skirmish which can easily be cleaned with a wipe, Secondly the pistol from just bb guns is on sale and originally costs £160 aha. Why go round commenting on peoples sales, if you dont like something dont look at it or buy it waste of time mate.

  22. Price was great, but my word, the sass! "Price include postage buyer pays paypal fee" So, when I ask him to clarify, apparently it's really easy and I could've found out myself using a PayPal calculator. If it's so easy to find out the PayPal fees, why not include the info in the advert? Or just up the price by £3 to cover it? Does my head in.

TM MP7A1 GBB - Small bit of fettling to add a Maple Leaf GBB Autobot Hop Up Rubber 60D & EdGI 5.98-6.03mm Brass Inner Barrel to give it that little more poke! Will be used for night time raids, using the PEQ & Tracer to compliment a set of Nods, being able to cover distance at a pace & fairly lightweight as well Standard additional mags so I'm not caught short!
