Cries of "Where the fuck did that go?" when opening a gearbox are a rite of passage in airsoft. That said, get a small screwdriver and insert it in the back end of the spring guide and hold onto it when you take the front half of the gearbox off. That should stop the main spring from popping straight out and scaring your cat/skinning your knuckles/getting lost forever/all of the above.1 point -

dude, are you not able to get the trigger/spring issue sorted, I ask as these are currently available for $289, yeah I know shipping & taxes will push it up, but that's a new fully functional gun with a warranty. its a nice looking gun (never thought I'd say that about a two tone), but if you want to get near your price you'll need to fix it, IMHO.1 point

Just finished the Layaway on my Elite Force MP7. So far, first impressions are good! Battery space is obviously small in the extreme, mags are anout $30, or $35 at the local shop (£25). ROF clocks in at roughly 28 RPS, or 1,680 RPM (Nearly double that of the Real version, 960 RPM) haven’t officially chrono’d it as of yet, but the Shop owner mentioned that the samples they did chrono were hotter than field limits, which are 350FPS (106-ish M/S), so my guess is 360FPS (Ghett-stimate is 109 M/S?) or thereabouts. External build quality is Top Notch, albeit with some loose set screws after a mag dump, specifically the one for the left bolt catch lever, AKA the one that comes loose on every MP7 yet released (to my knowledge). The trademark/safety warnings (Idiot Marks) are fairly low-vis, in a dark grey as opposed to EF’s normal bright white, probably not an issue for that majority of you over there in Europe. The adorably tiny birdcage flash hider is also bright Blaze Orange but appears metal, and has 12mm- threads beneath. In addition, dropping the mag slightly, but not all the way, clears the magnetic follower, but does not disengage the magazine disconnect, meaning you can still dry-fire the RIF. I have reason to believe that the Bolt catch when depressed fully also does the same, but have yet to be able to produce reliable results. (Will add more as I have the MP7 longer.)1 point -

New is better most of the time, unless you've fired the gun you're looking to buy. It's too much of a gamble a lot of the time. There's always a reason someone is looking to sell something on, some are innocent (I'm always skint for example), or its not working or shooting correctly. Nowadays it's easy to sell it on second hand and let it be "someone else's problem".1 point

I haven't pewed in three weeks. And I can play today - (only for a half day, but better than nowt). But... I can't be arsed. Normally all my kit is already packed, but cos I used the bag for a trip away, it's all over the place. Anyone else feel like getting kit ready is a ballache? On the plus side, I found some mk5's I forgot I had. Which is nice.1 point -
Hi guys! New lad here from Spain. Having the MWS CQBR for almost half a year I decided to join this club officially. I read all the posts from the beginning and I decided to share with you some recent pics of my two tastes of CQBR. One for short distances cqb and another one for open field. Both currently with oem inner barrel, modify tan and custom hop up arms without nub. Using Geoffs BBs 0,30 and waiting for PDI precision 6,01 inner barrel. Will post the results here to help if possible. PS: @marine finally you're not alone1 point
