Con is a BAC reps and he's attempting to speak on my behalf I haven't retracted ANYTHING. I'm still lost why you can just admit you cocked up say sorry and get on with it instead of just constantly making yourselves look stupid. And if all this has been sorted then I've had NO contact to be asked to retract anything and NONE of what I have posted has been fabricated AT ALL what purpose would I have in doing that why would I make lies up about something for nothing I WOULDN'T the email posted clearly shows all it needs to prove what it is.5 points
-
No you're not. Qlimax has not said anywhere that he retracts what he has posted as far as I can see. The people in charge of the BAC have put out some bullshit post to attempt to cover up what has happened and that's it, they admitted they did not check and that's the end of it.3 points

Simples, they have messed up, big time, they need a scape goat and as you are the public face of their (probably) soon to be demise you have that big red bull's-eye on your back. I see nothing wrong with what you did, if they had performed even one of the supposed checks they should have done to verify "Sarah Bartlett" it would have been flagged and "she" wouldn't have gotten the defence "she" was offered. Applying for a defence is not illegal, giving someone a defence that has no legal basis is very worrying indeed. You are in the right they are in the wrong, and good job you did it too! Well done! No it is not wrong for the police to pretend to be children or paedophiles in order to catch paedophiles. As has already been said it wouldn't take much for a journalist to have done the very same and put the results in the paper.3 points

The obsession with RPS is mainly linked to obsession with pushing things to the limit and even the previously mentioned being a shit shot,or just feeling like slinging more plastic down range. 40 RPS Is a nice way to get people to take their hits. The main benefit of high speed guns is very fast trigger response. However this highly depends on the build, you can have 10:1 super high speed gears yet only push 28RPS on an 11.1 because you have an ultra slow 28 TPA torque motor and have near PTW quality of response(Especially if you have a hair trigger) Personally I'd let people Use whatever guns they please, even in milsims. I've seen plenty of sights where people with 40RPS monsters walk slowly towards the enemy, suppressing them and wasting massive amounts of ammo only to get killed by one shot. No matter how good the gun is it's useless in the hands on a git who cannot into hittings largest side of barn.2 points -

That vid is awesome! It's odd because everyone plays cod/battlefield like that but when they play airsoft they are much more reserved/reluctant. I can only assume people can be a bit jitterish with the thought of getting hit close up. I love this style of aggressive play because you get a lot of scores and it's much more fun then sat hiding waiting to be hit. I recently aquired two desert eagles and oddly I get a lot more kills with them then when I play with my scar h. Yes you do get lit up badly when you get it wrong but that's part of the fun of the game2 points -

the issue i have is being shot full auto with such a setup at short range, the faster the rps the more likely for shots to hit the same spot. now think of any thread youve seen testing mesh googles etc. uber high rps is also likely to really peeve someone off a lot more if you accidentally over kill at short range( which happens) with great power comes great responsibility...1 point -
Radio help
Airsoft_Mr B reacted to jcheeseright for a topic
with that you'll need any PTT designed for a motorola 1 pin. If you're after a 'military style' headset, then you're really looking at chinese clone stuff, real deal comms gear is expensive and particular about what it'll work with. The PTT Mr B linked will work fine with your radio, any headset with a TP120 (sometimes called military) plug will fit into it, I'd recommend sticking with z-tactical as their headsets are pretty decent, don't get their knockoff Sordins or Comtacs though, they're arse.1 point -

ooh that is really helpful would all this stuff work with the radio i linked?1 point -
If money were no issue I'd love to play a downed chopper crew scenario. 3 crash survivors have to get to a radio to call in for backup, the opposition are looking for them in dense woodland with vehicular support. If the chopper crew get captured before they make radio contact then their back up will have to assault the opposition's base directly and airlift the crew out, if not, then chopper crew get to choose the extraction point and the opposition have to fight them there. That or we just turn Madrid into one big airsoft site.1 point

Thats your opinion and i respect that, I used to run my scar how you described & could get about around 30/40 kills a day and only fire about 1000 bb's at tops. However now i only play at CQB and urban sites where accuracy and range is no issue at all. With how I have my scar now i have instant trigger response, i can scare the shite out of opponents when they see 50 bbs travelling their way, i can lay suppressive fire very well, but i can still accurately eliminate opponents from 40 meters away on single shot. Im also using it at a milsim event in September and the marshals have already said its okay to use the gun as long as i dont go overkill and not use drum mags. Sure its not realistic but am i doing any harm by using my gun how i like?1 point -

that radio is a bag of wank, get a baofeng instead: http://www.ebay.com/itm/UV-5RA-UV-5R-A-New-Version-Dual-Band-UHF-VHF-136-174MHZ-400-520Mhz-2-Way-Radio-/261491012466?pt=2_Way_Radios_FRS&hash=item3ce2143372 takes a kenwood plug too so this will fit and work fine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Popular-Mini-Handheld-BAOFENG-UV-5R-Speaker-Mic-Walkie-Talkie-Dual-Band-Radio-62-/171323196379?pt=US_Radio_Comm_Microphones&hash=item27e3a883db then just plug in a standard 3.5mm jack headphone if you want to silence the speaker on the mic. no airsoft clone rubbish there, all guaranteed compatible and a damn sight cheaper than the options you posted to begin with. Only downside is that you'll need to program the radio yourself, but it's a straightforward job and there's plenty of tutorials online.1 point -

I was waiting for Node to do that for a while, I could see it happening when they started getting into TTT again. I'd like to see an infection gamemode similar to the Halo games. Bunch of survivors with only a couple of alpha zombies on the other team with infinite respawns and melee weapons only (Give them rubber training swords or something), then they run around and try to infect the survivors. When the survivors are hit by a zombie, they go to respawn, swap out their gun for a melee weapon, then they are also a zombie. It'd be brilliant.1 point -

Just bought 10 inert 7.62x54R rounds at £1 each to go on a butt stock pouch on my SVD - i recently added a piece of carved oak to extend the stock by about 40mm and stuffed the hollow plastic with some scrap metal to shift the balance of the thing back, because I'm adding a suppressor and although it is pretty light, it will get heavier when i get around to fucking about with the innards to make it actually do something more than the somewhat pathetic approx 1 pole low pass @7KHz, but besides that the steel bipod has shifted the weight forward even though it is pretty central - 10x7.62 FMJ should add a bit more weight and look uber... Picked up a double G36 mag pouch in tropentarn while i was at it - i need 4 in total but at £18-odd plus postage for surplus gear they've been on the back burner. £32-odd inc P&P from flecktarn.co.uk / not bad really Was really irritated a few days ago - got an email from airsoft-club to say Kobra sights were back in stock - sold out by the time i noticed the email a few hours later1 point -

battlefield 3
Zak Da Mack reacted to Airsoft-Ed for a topic
There are a lot of very complex game mechanics you have to really know, understand and work on to get good at the game. There's a gigantic Battlefield YouTube community, and instead of it just being full of crazy montages, a lot of it is actually talking about how to make use of the game mechanics. They teach you how to play the game properly. Also, don't call it camping, call it defending, because that's what it is. If you're good enough at the game then someone camping in a corner for the whole game will last maybe 2 minutes tops, because as soon as they kill a person, that person knows where they are, and unless they're using a suppressor they're going to appear on the map and if they appear on the map, everyone's going to know they're there and then they lose their surprise advantage when someone rounds the corner on them. It gains them nothing unless it's an area with a clear view of an M-Com in Rush, or if they're within the cap radius of a Conquest point. ...Or they're an ass hole. Team work tends to come in the form of being given health and ammo by Assault and Support players, more so than moving around in a squad and sticking together. Engineers can repair vehicles and Recons can "spot" people... Like everyone else. If you play on Hardcore mode (go into the server options and filter for it) then everyone's health gets reduced to 60% as maximum, so guns tend to kill a lot faster, health doesn't regenerate and there's also no mini-map, so you have to rely on sight and sound alone, instead of the mini-map, which I passionately detest, it's like a built in 3D wall hack.1 point -

Airsoft Edinburgh do private skirmishes at set prices for set times. They are extremely expensive though, for 1 hour, it's like £15 per head which isn't that long.
