Asomodai Posted January 1, 2023 Share Posted January 1, 2023 2022 was a massive transition for me in my Personal life as well as my Airsoft life, which began with a massive slimming down of the rifle collection and augmentation of the clothing... Gone are all of my Russian kit as I cannot bring myself to wear it (The Gorka 1 being the exception as can be used for other loadouts). I have travelled to France, Poland and Hungary last year to get some of this kit. (Considering I am an awkward size, it was important to do this!). I lost a lot of weight this year (16 stone 8 to just a tad under 15 stone). So I swim in much of the F2 French Kit I bought last year, so much so that I had to go back to Paris to get replacements and ended up with superior but heavier T3/T4. I still need a nice green Chest Rig/Molle Vest, Maskpol MAPA Boonie in Large and T3/4 French CCE Shirt. My favourite kit is the latest, which is the MAPA as it's such a good looking kit. But I am most proud of the Hungarian kit, considering how impossible it is to get decent condition garments in the UK especially in my size. A trip to Budapest was mandatory. Type 21 is just about done (need to custom make one more piece) and I can go with a helmet or BF4 Scout if I want haha. I still need a faithful shotshell pouch and due to the EPM-1S mags being taller than standard 20 rounders I need to either get 30 round mag pouches or general small arms mag pouches - still undecided on those. Also waiting for helmet parts to arrive - some missing bolts, fresh straps and foam, etc but none of that is visible so itll look the same as it does now. Ill actually play with it with the visor up and proper eyepro instead, but for pics visor down is Ace. Sometimes a photo is taken from a certain perspective and it can contain a element that takes on a different role. It looked to me that the suppressor was attached to the helmet forming a handle. Using information supplied to me by my local museum, I have made and added unit identifier patches to signify A company, 7th service battalion Northamptonshire regiment of the 24th infantry division, to make the uniform look less plain, though I may need to trim the yellow saltire down a little.. I even have a pair of original brass "Northapton" shoulder titles on the shoulder tabs and an original Northamptonshire regiment cap badge on my cap (though it may need relocating slightly to sit flush on my cap) 1908 webbing needs minor adjustments to fit better, and I have had to make a concession and add a 37 pattern webley holster so I can carry a sidearm, as my Lee enfield has been upgraded and now has a MED. I’ve only ever seen them set up as shooters belts / battle belts with minimal pouches before. I’ve gone for something a Lay-out which would be more familiar to PLCE / The custom sets from Dragon supplies etc. From left to right: EI Frag Pouch ( might replace this one with a smoke pouch in future) Quad magazine pouch with USMC dump pouch attached to the bottom row of molle on the back of the pouch. Rolls up neatly underneath it and seems like it will work. a blank molle row to receive a replica OKC-3S bayonet which is en route. 1QT canteen pouch MBITR pouch M60 pouch for us as a general utility pouch. 1QT canteen pouch two double magazine pouches EI Frag pouch.
