I have recently heard about this. I think there may be something in it. I am experiencing the same with my MWS. I weigh the mags empty and full and cant get more than around 7-8g of gas in some mags wheres before I could get up to 20g. Get a few shots then it vents. Haven't had chance to see if this purge method remedies it.

Many dis Viper gear but like above I have this chest rig. Been using it a few years now and still going strong. Can't grumble at the price either. Lightweight. Can hold 6 M4 mags or 8 SMG with different inserts. I like to keep my kit minimal and this does just that.

Thanks. I remember getting mine from a carboot years ago well before I was in to airsoft. Got it cos I thought it was cool. Only paid a few quid for it. It's easy to understand their effectiveness at close range once you physically hold one of these. Some serious chunks of shrapnel I imagine from such a hefty lump of steel.

That sort of reaction had not occurred 😂😂 not sure how I would explain that one to the misses.

Found this in my cupboard. Had it years but forgot about it. Anyone know anything about it? Era, origin etc... I'm not clued up on military history. Curious to know some info. Have thought about running it on my kit for added tacticoolness 😂 but its farkin heavy.

Have played there a year or so ago, was called wastelands then. It's a good site of decent size. Good layout. My only gripe was long waits between games. Sometimes as long as an hour or more. Didn't feel like got any more game time in for a full day as opposed to a half day elsewhere. I did intend on going there this summer but never got round to it. I also don't like playing in wet muddy conditions when there are dry indoor alternatives but that's just me. But saying that still a good site and the closest to me. One of 3 within an hours drive for me

I try to avoid the Wednesday or Friday as numbers have always been really low around 8- 10 players which, for me, lacks action Sunday can be up to 40 players which I find much more engaging. How have the midweek numbers been from your experience? Heading to Scarborough 101 this weekend for the second time which is also a good site but very different

Yeah I agree, lots of places a long gun is fine but also lots where you're severely restricted. Good to hear about the grenade rule. Will make for a much more intense game but also more manageable. Do you ever do Sundays there? That's the day I usually play.

Love this site. My regular spot. Don't come across many forum members who play there. I too have come to conclusion that sun guns are better here. The reason I want to shorten my MWS to a CQBR length barrel. I love using the gun but its tight in there. Always a good laugh and great staff. I wiped out the last half of the enemy team using a frag on main street madness. Got told after that that grenades weren't allowed on that game but we still took the win with an agreed rematch then still won that too.

Certainly done that a few times! Thankfully been a while since the last time. Think I've remembered now... touch wood.

I've ran my MWS with stock spring for over a year with well over 10k shots through it. Closer to 13 14k. Still yet to have any issues or breakage. Just go for it and replace as it breaks. Wouldn't hurt pre buying one for the spares box though.

I have been a long time wearer of skechers trainers and recently tried some of their hiking boots for the first time. Memory foam insoles and waterproof. For 70 squid I cant complian. Super comfy for prolonged wearing too. Maybe worth a punt

More mods would be the answer. I'm trawling multiple times a day almost daily. Makes it hard to navigate unread posts which is how I normally view the forum when all these chemical ads are strewn across the site. I wouldn't mind taking on a role to help out.

Well RIF wise, i already have my money no object choice (TM MWS) But for the rest which I can't afford would be a full strike industries setup. The rail, grips, buffer tube and stock aswell as all the little extras like mag release, takedown pins, fire selector etc... I do love the look of SI. Also the F4 receivers are pretty sweet.

Ah I see. Wasnt aware of these shops. Think i will go that route then. I'll just stock up on a bunch when they come in. £3-4 is much more reasonable. Thanks for the info.

Thanks, there are a couple in stock at airsoft direct but it's hard to justify a 10er of the 50 quid your paying for a mag is a tiny plastic part that is essentially a consumable but hey ho. Guess it's a necessity for the reward of playing with a GBB. Still gives me big smiles each time I let off a round.

Very nearly. Internally, the only changes are a SixG super nub and an RAtech NPAS simply for better hop and adjustable FPS. I dont feel like anything else needs changing. If it ain't broke, dont fix it

Hey, so 15 months and around 12k shots in for my MWS and its time for my first repairs. Nothing major but noticed the feed lips on one of my mags are cracked. Still firing fine but it's about time I got a few spares for the tool box. I'm reluctant to use after market brands as the damn thing shoots so bloody good, I'd rather keep that marui magic but a 10er for 1 feed lip! Outrageous. Any who the Yorkshireman in me is showing now. Are there any genuinely good alternate feed lips out there. Vids I have seen all seem to give feed issues etc with non genuine. Or shall I just bite the bb and suck it up with the real deal.
