As a Moderator, I like to use the Father Ted emoji to give a subtle hint to be careful not to trigger some duffer or get triggered by one. [or for those who do not appreciate the glory of TM fairy dust]

It has no meaning beyond what people project on to it. Which is why this entire thread is comedy gold.

Yep it is an irritating twatish little emoji designed for the millennial generation. I think I will just stick with telling people to wind their neck in and stop being a prick because sometimes the old fashioned way is best.

    What has changed?

i've been playing since 2000 this exact thing is stated by some one every few years on the whole no. I marshal more than i play these days and the perception of there being more cheats is infintly greater than the number of actual cheats ( i get sick to death of hearing "i must have hit them") there are always people who should never step on a field due to their attitude but considering the increase in players still far and few between.

Think you are missing the point. I doubt anyone feels bad or angry when someone posts it. The point is it is a pathetic little halfway passive aggressive bit of twaddle. Society has become a bit sad when we now an I might get offended emoji. Lets just go back to asking people if they have a problem and telling them to not be an irritating c**t.

I thought it was just a piss take , hadn’t realised it had a ‘serious’ meaning as well , doh ! 😳 So in response to this if anyone should feel offended by anything I have or do say then from the very very bottom of my colon I am truly truly ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, not bothered , not even the slightest at all , sorry . I’ll just let the god that is Stephen Fry sum it up for anyone who should feel ‘offended’ . P.S. if you ARE still feeling offended and do need some sympathy then please look in the dictionary and you’ll find it between shit and syphilis .👍 have a nice life . 😁

    Hello Fellow Airsofters

Hahahaha! Mate, 2012-Airsoft had already graduated Uni, got married and had a three year old kid by that point. But yes, welcome to the brood.

Vegans are the greatest people on earth. They leave all the bacon and steak for those of us who appreciate it. They also provide hours of entertainment when bored and feel like winding someone up. The only thing better is feminists and these weird gender rights people 😈

Fuckin’ hell. Who lit the fuse on your tampon? 😂 Was that emoji ever intended as something serious? I just used it when a comment was funny but likely to get someone’s back up. For example: i think all HPA users like to spray BB’s everywhere out of frustration because their mums Lycra rubs their manjinas.

Hello All. Not the first time being on a forum but know it can get very obsessive. I am Nathan I am 20 years old and I wouldn't say I am new to Airsoft. I started playing back in 2012 in the earlier stages of Airsoft, back then it was different compared to nowadays, my first guns were the TACR 71, Spas 12 Shotgun and a few cheap spring rifles. Started getting serious again in August last year got my first gun in late that month after playing quite a lot at my local airsoft site. My first proper AEG is the G&G ARP9, I don't see me changing anytime soon. I wanted to get into the SWAT Loadout which I managed to achieve after spending over £700 but only some of that is on the actual outfit the rest is on a new pistol and a few accessories. I am from Northern Ireland and play all over, I can say my go to site would be the place I started out at. Limavady Airsoft. Its a 4000sq ft. intense indoor site which if you are very likely to get plenty of hits at whether its you getting hit or the enemy. Anyways enough chit chat about my life, let me know more about you all.

    Lipo fail

Over the past few yrs had a couple puff up (mainly the first ones I bought) nothing dramatic BUT I have seen one kill an AEG , guy runs across a bridge , looses his footing , plants the barrel of his M14 into the ground and the butt end into his stomach and pole vaults on it ! As he’s flying through the air the gun makes a horrendous snapping/crunching noise then as he roles across the ground it starts making electrical shorting and sparking noises and smoke starts billowing out of it and in a fiery melting pile of crap so died his mth old TM M14 ! 😭

    THE TM MWS thread

So who do i have to hold responsible for this?! @Wo1f I'm looking at you 🤔 TM MWS, got it second hand with the magpul parts and keymod rail I added the Gold bits so it goes with my SAI M4 HPA gun and bought one more mag. Recoil is great and i am tempted to sell my GHK M4 as IMO this does feel a bit better. No idea how well or accurate it shoots as i don't know what tampering the hop has had but im hoping the TM fairy dust is still there.

    dye masks

I have a Dye i4 mask (as you can see in my profile pic) which is probably the best mask and eye pro i have ever used. I have been through quite a few goggles trying to find the one which works for me and didn't fog up, the best so far has been the Dye. I would recommend the i4 over the i5 as due to the large crank wheel on the back strap of the i5 it may make wearing a helmet difficult where as the i4 its a simple strap. Before i owned the i4 i used to used a pair of Z-Tac Comtac IIs, frankly it was a faff to don the goggles, mesh mask, helmet with headset then have to adjust everything, everytime. I then got the Dye i4 and it was quickly noticed that the Comtacs were very uncomfortable with the i4. I then down graded to the Z-Tac BOWMAN III headset and it was better but that has its own issues. Best solution was to jury rig the whole thing. I broke the Z-Tac BOWMAN IIIs into its base component parts (mic, ear speaker, wires) and basically hot glued it directly into the Dye i4 Mask. Now its just a matter of mask on, connect headset to PTT, helmet on and go! I have attached some pictures showing how i rigged the headset into the mask, normally the ear speaker is tucked under the strap. Also as a tip, if you want to wear the Dye i4 with a helmet you either have to do a lot of modding to the helmet or just ensure that the front lip of the helmet has a material thickness of 2.55mm or less, anything thicker than that ( i think the normal is 6mm) is too much and you'll have to take padding out of the helmet.

    What the Police are taught...

That looks like a Blackstones Book. I should point out that during the 6 months of training at Hendon, not one subject covered firearms, we did tonnes on the different Sections of the Theft Act 1968 but never did we once touch on the subject of firearms. It was only a year out of Hendon (so after 18months service) did i go back for my 2 out of 3 continuation training courses that we did anything on firearms, even then it was one afternoon about the subject. Funniest part was at that time (around early 2011) I was part of the Air Training Corps as a member of staff at my local squadron (12F Walthamstow and Leyton) and was one of the shooting leads on the squadron. I ended up teaching that section to the rest of the class as even the person leading the course (a Sergeant) knew little to nothing about firearms, types of firearms, the difference between rifled, smooth bore, bolt action, semi automatic, burst fire etc. Getting into airsoft afterwards has led me to reading up about the different sections of firearms laws especially centred around Airsoft. So as luck would have it when one day i call came out to some kid using his Airsoft gun in his back yard came out i took it, it was his lucky day in that of all the officers to turn up to him it was me and i was able to significantly down play the whole thing so his guns didnt get seized. He wasn't breaking any laws, kept BBs well in his garden, had a decent backstop to prevent ricochets and i was very confident his guns were under FPS limits as all he was doing was chronoing. Most people don't realise but most officers only ever have a working knowledge of most laws, the nitty gritty not so much so often it boils down to common sense approach. It much the same way that people say their "House got robbed", this is a laymans terms of understanding. In the nitty gritty no house can ever be robbed. Period!

I do appreciate the glory of TM fairy dust. Because when people lose the rose coloured glasses they will pay people like me silly money to upgrade their Tm so it works as well as guns you can buy off the shelf that cost half as much. I mean ok you get recoil but lets be fair that is weak, goes the wrong way, happens a fraction late and makes a stupid twang noise but yeah worth it🤷‍♂️ As for the fabled range and accuracy chuck a £20 rubber and nub in a specna and voila. Fairy dust more like fairy fucking tale 😜

Practically speaking I added it so that people could 'react' to stupid listings in the advertisements without giving dubious sellers a reputation boost (the 'funny' one people were using is worth a reputation point, the 'careful now' one is worth nothing). This thread has given it the most wonderful christening though. This is correct.

This cheered me up this morning. Had a proper chuckle reading this. The time it should be used is when someone gets some facts wrong(basically everything I post it would seem!), let’s others and the OP know that there’s something slightly amiss with their post. I do agree that a good old “Wind your neck in” works, but sometimes I can’t be asked with the following arguments.

I thought it was just a daft icon, like a 'Carry On' kind of Kenneth Williams thing. It doesn't bother me what icons people put on my posts. If they really don't like what I say they can report it if it's offensive. Otherwise I don't give it much thought as I'm not that sensitive, it's the internet.

    Lipo fail

yes, but never spectacularly, have had a few die for various reasons over the years, mostly overdischarging rather than charge failures (although i have had a charger die on me and kill a life battery) the scare mongering gets folks to respect their batteries enough to buy a proper charger and do it right, rather than connect it up to an nimh charger then wonder why it caught fire, if you use a decent balance charger and don't over current your batteries then it'll be fine.

Nuprol 1.0 and Abbey 144a (confusingly with a green label) is duster gas. ASG Ultraair is somewhere between duster and green so I use it in my TM pistols when its below 12 degrees. Abbey Red label, Nuprol 2.0 is green gas.

Yeah, as much as I give vegans a hard time... Coz they're stupid in my opinion ... There are a select few that are ok, like those girls you mention. It's the ones that never stop going on about it... I wanna feed them to a fuckin lion! Or worse yet, the ones that like to force their beliefs on others, especially those that can't speak for themselves. There is an entire community of vegans that force veganism on their pet cats and they post picture after picture of these shells of an animal. Seriously malnourished and sick creatures. That shit is criminal! I would be close to murder if I witnessed that in person. Fair warning, if you decide to Google that shit, be warned, it's quite disturbing.

Lel vegans, had a terrible experience a few years ago. As a scout chief, I try to give the boys a clean, unbiased point of view on how the world is currently working so that they can develop their own thoughts They wanted to know more about vegans so we got in contact with a family who ran an animal shelter and decided to spend a few days with them. what a terrible mistake.. We found out they were the worst kind of vegan, they couldn't stand our presence just because they knew we eat meat. turned out the wife was switching sex after giving birth to 2 children, the man wanted to strip naked and live in the forest. Literally every vegan stereotype was present in those 2 individuals. when we got home we bought a whole pig and roasted it to cleanse us from that filth xD on the other hand I know a couple of vegan girls, actually pretty cute, and they don't give a shit if someone eats meat EDIT: for the record, those 2 girls actually like meat, if you know what I mean 😏

WAS kit is good, no doubt. I use a fair few bits myself, BUT you are in the league's of the big boys price wise and you can pick up eagle industries, HSGI, emdom and tactical tailor kit for similar prices which are arguably slightly better quality.
