PADDY'S LAST WILL - Paddy was on his deathbed and knew the end was near. His nurse, his wife, his daughter and 2 sons are with him at his home in Belfast. He asks for 2 independent witnesses to be present and a camcorder be in place to record his last wishes. When all is ready he begins to speak: "My son Seamus, I want you to take the houses in Cultra." "My daughter Geraldine, you take the apartments over in Malone Road." "My son Patrick Junior, I want you to take the offices in the City centre." "Bridget, my dear wife, please take all the residential properties on the Upper Lisburn Road ." The nurse and witnesses are blown away. They did not realize the extent of Paddy's wealth. As he slips away, the nurse says to his wife, " Mrs O'Shaughnessy, my deepest condolences. Your husband must have been such a hard-working and wonderful man to have accumulated all this property".. "Property?”, his wife replies. “The bastard had a window cleaning round.2 points -

Yeah as far as I know it’s a standard m4 style buffer tube so most things should fit, trouble is, there’s so much choice that it’s hard to know what’s good. So many knock offs, and knock offs of knock offs… Just looking for a bit of inspiration and/or recommendations really. If all else fails, I’ll use your previous suggestion ? That ultra lite looks pretty tasty but not sure how battery friendly it would be ?1 point -

I have run the stock TM barrel and a CrazyJet one. Both were 250mm but the CrazyJet pushed the fps up by 15fps give or take. Grouping at 10m clamped was slightly tighter with the CrazyJet but there wasn’t much in it. Accuracy is fine for most ranges you might encounter and torso shots out to 60m with good conditions are possible. Sniping peeking elbows and knees at 20-30m is also fun ? If you are going to run a 370mm you will defiantly need an NPAS of some kind.1 point

I had to google the Krytac SPR to see what it was & would any other M16/M4 butt stock fit on that style of buffer tube? If it soes then you're limited to a gazillion replacements that will fit. If it won't fit then I refer you to my previous snide (but meant in fun) comment.1 point -

Well it is airSOFT after all ?♂️? Yeah the look of the SPR stock is another reason for wanting to changing it up. Same goes for the charging handle…great RIF but let down by a few cosmetic bits in my opinion. Will have a look at the the ones you suggested. Definitely prefer a sliding option if possible. Yeah, I agree the M904G stock does look a bit flimsy but I’ve got to say, the quality of M904E as a whole seems excellent for the money!1 point -
Seconds to what Fatboy posted. A good spring should basically never compress, whereas bad springs can lose power very quickly, or even bend.1 point

Being a GBBR fan boi, VFC have really really stepped up their game recently. Their G3, FAL and MP5s are all excellent, heard good things about the 416 range too but not read into them too much as its not a platform that interests me. If you want to know more check out the Heavy Recoil Club GBBR Discord1 point -

That's really good to hear @andrey. Might be worth having this post as a sticky thread as it's so common in the Ares EFCS. When mine failed, I only used 7.4V 2600mAh LiPo. The first replacement mosfet I got from Ares was the updated longer type that you have there @andrey and the back of the EFCS board started smoking and a copper track broke. Don't know why as I put a new insulating pad that came with it behind the EFCS board. The other two after that had the same issues as you've had, blown Schottky diodes. As I said in my post above, it was a standard gearbox but with a warhead base motor. Time will tell with this but at least we know what to look out for in the future. But if this keeps happening again and others that read this want to steer clear of the Ares EFCS, it might be worth modifying the gearbox to take a Perun V3 hybrid. I've successfully installed a V3 hybrid into the standard Ares G36 non-EFCS gearbox with a bit of milling by the micro switch and it's working perfectly. Chris1 point

Says on the polar star website they are compatible , but 12g co2 , is it a DMR you’re going for ? You might find your changing co2 quicker than changing mags if it’s just a regular Sunday pew pew build.1 point -
I bought a Krytac Alpine Vector from a fellow in these forums about a month back. Since then I've taken the gun, gutted it out and upgraded almost everything internally myself. Now shoots like a total beast and sounds great too! It was the first time I teched a gun, can't wait to take it to a game next weekend. I... hope this scope doesn't look too big?1 point

Be wary of Co2 powered pistols. Read up on pros and cons So do you have to be registered to buy a realistic (black) replica or just be over 18? Unfortunately I don't think it will be feasible to buy used from UK but there are many shops in Europe that have good prices. This was a good place when we were still in the EU. Hi and welcome ? It would be interesting to know the process allowing you to buy a replica over there. Those spring replicas would not be practical for a game and may be more valued by a collector but with more authentic replicas available now I doubt they're worth very much. Do you have a big garden to use? Are you allowed to shoot in the garden? How much are replicas there? Keep us updated...1 point

Played Sunday at Driver wood - second time at this site now and I have to say it's quickly becoming my new go to. Perfect weather and great players, marshalls were on point and professional. Love how organised the site is and actually having fully plumbed toilets onsite is a luxury I don't want to go without. Game wise, two rounds of VIP to capture objectives, round of dash and grab for playing cards to score points and a classic zombies to finish of the day. Par from a couple of speedsofters that seemed to be annoying everyone it was a great day for players as it's always a friendly bunch. I managed to go ass over tits while trying to medic a guy only to get peppered to fuck while falling. Best part was two kids being in a tower. Managed to get right up to it without being hit but they went prone to try and stay safe. So typically I done what any one.would do, proceeded to jump on the shot and shoot while at the high point. Marshall behind us cracking up laughing.1 point -
It all comes down to the quality of the material / steel used and how it's been "treated". You can have have springs that can be in service for decades, in industrial applications, that retain their strength and shape but cheap nasty ones that compress incredibly quickly. Personally I've found the XT springs from AK2M4 brilliant, definitely better than another trusted brand like Guarder. They're really consistent in their strength, so you can use them in almost any gun and know what you're getting, and I've had zero power drops over time. They also produce an M95 which is very useful is you have a great air-seal and an M100 takes you just over a Joule limit1 point

There was a lad turned up to our last game in full Templer night gear, breastplate, helmet gauntlets, white tabbard and sodding great sword. Last game of the day he had 5 lives and about 6 guards , everyone else had to hunt him. No one ever spotted him, shiny metal and white tabbard and he still managed to conceal himself so we never saw him.1 point

Re the zip ties, no matter how someone tries to dress it up it's avoiding the chrono and therefore cheating. If you've passed on your feelings to site management and they've ignored you or fobbed you off then definitely name and shame them. Not doing so gives them a free pass to carry on and its human nature that if a person gets away with something once they're far more likely to do it again. As for the blank firing pistol, it does look a bit silly to me but I'd have no problem with it if used sensibly. Afterall many of us use BFGs and disposable pyros which have just as much potential to cause harm1 point -
Here's mine. Its not currently got an engine in and has not had one for 9 months. Bottom end bearings went bye bye. Should be back this month. Not many people are aware of the 4 door R34s and the ones that do take a strange look on them. I personally love them. Maybe its a sign that I'm getting older but ever since I drove a B5 S4 I have been in love with 4 door saloons. The engine being out has been a bit of a blessing, although its been a boring 9 months without the car, its got some goodies going in such as forged pistons and rods, link ecu and a few other goodies.1 point
