  1. Found a young YouTuber called trung the builder and he had a mk23 that he cut down to make it (almost) a USP... So I thought I'd have a go at it ...it's still a prototype at the mo...but you can see how short it is from the shadow board behind it....πŸ˜πŸ‘

  3. Apologies if this goes against every ethical thing in the forum classifieds, but if the buyer would also be after the G&G replacement metal railed handguard to go with his or her Tactical Tuna, then I have one available. Just ping me a pm.

  5. A monkey is sitting in a tree, smoking a joint, when a lizard walks past. The lizard looks up and says "Hey! what are you doing?" The monkey says "Smoking a joint, come up and join me" So the lizard climbs up and sits next to the monkey and they have another joint. After a while, the lizard says his mouth Is 'dry', and that he's going to get a drink from the river. At the riverbank, the lizard is so stoned that he leans too far over and falls in. A Crocodile sees this and swims over to the stoned lizard, helping him to the side. He then asks the lizard, "What's the matter with you?!" The lizard explains to the crocodile that he was sitting in the tree, smoking a joint with the monkey and his mouth got dry and that he was so wasted that, when he went to get a drink from the river, he fell in! The Inquisitive crocodile says he has to check this out. He walks into the jungle and finds the tree where the monkey is sitting, finishing a joint. He looks up and says "Hey, MONKEY!" The Monkey looks down and says "FUUUUUCK DUUUDE HOW MUCH WATER DID YOU DRINK?!

  6. So for those of us that list β€œAirsoft” items on eBay regularly you may be confused why some listings are removed yet other listings for identical or similar items are allowed to remain. tonight I finally managed to speak with one of their policy team managers, who gave me 40 minutes of his time and actually answered every question asked, without evasion (my previous experience of appealing a removed item, has just been met with evasive answers, and I promise someone from the policy or escalations team will call you back to explain- never happens! ) Some of the answers made a lot of sense , and I thought I’d share the information given. so here goes, and happy to answer any questions or clarify anything I’ve not explained well. Firstly Ebay worldwide are bound by California law, and are only licensed to sell certain items on their platform - it seems odd, but that licence affects their platform worldwide. California law prevents the sale by e-commerce of any articles that can be attached to automatic rifles, or that replicate attachments for automatic rifles (where they chance or enhance their operation). So things like, Stocks, vertical foregrips, hand stops, suppressors. Etc are all regulated. They have an Airsoft policy preventing the sale of Airsoft guns, receivers, and this includes BB guns and pellets guns. The6 do allow ammunition but interestingly only up to 0.25 calibre is the term they used. The adviser was unsure what that meant but he assumed it was BB WEIGHT., it’s more likely to be air-pellet calibre (I would guess) The next thing of interest is how they deal with an unauthorised item. They often flag breaches of the firearms policy as breaches of the airsoft policy if Airsoft is specifically mentioned in the advert. They do that actually to help us UK (specifically UK) airsofters out. Because….3 firearms policy strikes and your account is suspended/removed from the platform if you’re in the US. So the penalties for breaching Airsoft policy are much less serious - they amount to a β€œeducation warning” Your account is then flagged and monitored for attempts to relist the item. They removed over 1750 Airsoft suppressor listings (as an example, that’s what I had removed) in the last 28 days. They had no reason to believe any of them were real, they simply are just not allowed by California E commerce laws. Which they claim they are working to change with a category amendment to the trading licence through the courts - however Airsoft is flagged as a tiny niche market for them and it’s not a priority. Finally how are your dodgy items detected, - some but actually very few are by keyword, and image algorithms that have them flagged and checked manually. mostly they are checked by batch sampling on item numbers (an invigilator or verifier will be sent 500 items to check every few days) and they are flagged if it’s not right, then removed. He provided a lot more information about the processes and the legal reasons behind the issue, and why they can’t easily change rules from country to country - but the post is already to long and quite boring for most. this will be useful to ebayers who don’t understand why their items are removed when they don’t appear to breach the stated policy.

  8. Thanks @PureSilver My HK416 should be fine with the suppressor fitment. My Tippmann has a long 'honey badger' style handguard on it now, but I think that's big enough to encompass it. The DE will be fine. The M14 might look a bit odd, but should accommodate it alright. My AK and M16 are in the loft, but they'll be ok. I think my AUG would struggle though. I'll have a play with a similar diameter plain stubby suppressor I have on my F2000, but if just one gun out of the collection is an issue, I've done pretty well. All my AEGs will be running high caps, so not fussed about ammo-counting / burst /stop on empty with those - I'm used to testing the rattle

  9. I have what I assume is a V1. I like mine plenty, especially for when I'm running a GBBR or something else with limited capacity and I don't want to run dry at a particularly inopportune moment. Some things to consider: I'd prefer for it to be rechargeable rather than AAs and AAAs (maybe the V2 has that) but the batteries have lasted me since I bought it, which is several years and several thousand rounds, so I can't complain too much. I'd advise putting some permanent marker on the on/off button on the back, which like most tracers blips bright green every few seconds to let you know it's on, which is annoying when playing in the dark. Bear in mind that the back of the suppressor is completely flat (no protruding collar) which means if there's something on your gun that protrudes near the barrel threads you might not be able to screw it all the way on. A 1" barrel extension (Guarder and doubtless numerous others sell them) will solve this issue. The "PEQ" doesn't feel fragile; mine has presumably taken BB hits (the rest of the gun has taken plenty) and seems undamaged. I wouldn't want it to take a BB hit to the display, though - it doesn't look like it has a polycarbonate shield or anything. I should probably print one to give it a bit more protection. The display has a sunshade sort of thing with side wings that have evidently protected it so far, but if I got shot from behind it would be vulnerable. My complaint is actually with the suppressor/tracer unit. I must have smacked the front of it on something at some point (inevitable in CQB), which dented the casing out of round and caused the front cap to pop off and disappear. Mine shipped with a spare cap, but with the dent it won't fit into place. I need to take a hammer or something and bang it back into shape, and maybe get or print one of those faux glass-breakers or something to give it a bit more protection. If you're looking to encase it in a bigger suppressor that would be an excellent way to stop this happening. I haven't tried the FCU but the rest of it works just fine. I don't use the FCU and never would, I don't use any basic AEGs so all my guns stop on empty anyway. I wouldn't particularly recommend it even for basic AEGs, that kind of man-in-the-middle interrupter is never going to be ideal.

Something smells... fishy. I have for sale a G&G G2010, which is (I believe) G&Gs first replica of the venerable/meme-worthy FN F2000 assault rifle. As such, it has no trademarks for one to coom over. What it DOES have, however, is both the railed upper and Hunter upper (with slightly zoomed in scope). Very cool, and very easy to swap out. I've tested this recently, and it all works fine. However, here are some notes to be aware of: 1. The mag release is fucked. It greedily refuses to let go of any magazine that dare enters it maw without a lot of swearing, yanking, and fiddling. This is probably an easy fix, but I have clubs for hands, so it's not within my ability to sort out. 2. One of the protruding nubs that allow screws to hold the gear box together has been cut off. This is to permit the use of midcaps. I don't know what G&G were thinking at the time. Do current F2000s have this disability? This has never impacted functionality as far as I'm aware. 3. The charging handle on the "Hunter" upper is broken. Unlike in AR platforms, the charging handle on this gun is purely decorative and does nothing, so functionality isn't impacted. However, it annoyed me enough to source, direct from G&G, a replacement charging handle. I never got round to fitting it due to acquiring a girlfriend shortly afterward. This will be included in the whole package. The handle, not the girlfriend. 4. Despite being lucky enough to have both uppers, G&G didn't supply me with a second flash hider, so you'll have to swap the one flash hider to the other upper when required to maintain peak Belgian a e s t h e t i c . 5. BBs go downrange as expected when firing this gun. However, I would recommend whoever buys this to give it a service before using it in a real game, as it hasn't seen a real game in quite some time. 6. It's wired for Deans. 7. It has a QD spring change ability and adjustable FPS by screwing in (or out) some thing in the back of the gearbox. Use this power wisely, my guy. 8. Unlike most 1st gen G2010's, this has a metal plate in the rubber buttstock to stop it from falling off. Again, sourced direct from G&G. 9. It looks like a fish. At least, it does to Welsh people for some reason. So it may re-acquire this nickname if you use it in public. Any questions, let me know. Is the price silly? Make me an offer or report me to Mack's Police Department for being an illegal dreamer. Want more photos? I'll get my camera. Please note that the stated price does not include P&P - that will be determined shortly once I've figured out the best way to ship this thing. If you are in the Cardiff/South Wales area, I'm happy for you to collect or for me to deliver it you personally. This gun looks like CARP , but it's done well by me! Cheers

Hey all Selling my old SSO New Gen Smersh in Digiflora and with 4 double VSS/VAL mag pouches (you can still buy AK pouches to replace them with if you need a bigger pouch). Also comes with a dump pouch and canteen pouch. Absolutely solid rig. No damages at all, only some old dirt. Also in Molle so you can add and take pouches as you wish. Hoping to make someone happy with this as you can't find these anymore due to the war in Ukraine. Shipping is extra (probably about Β£10). (Also check my listing for my sv98 as the mags fit in the pouches, making the perfect tarkov sniper loadout πŸ˜‰) Cheers

  13. I say stock is pretty efficient compared to the majority of GBBs (except TM, because fairy dust). I think you can tune the valve to make it more efficient (i.e. pump out only the gas needed to achieve the required energy output and cycle the bolt), a lightweight bolt might help but at the same time I'd be careful with going too lightweight or you may end up with cycling issues like our friend above, especially if you use stiff recoil springs. Afaik the CowCow nozzle is a bit shit, don't know about others (I don't even know if other nozzles exist!)

  15. Another chilly, but dry day means it was a good day for me today. M700 is still shooting really, really nicely and I got a LOT of people as it was a pretty target rich environment with 90 players on site. First two games were brilliant, with me finding a few new angles to exploit with the sniper rifle, but by the end of the 2nd game I could see people getting frustrated. What this translated to was a snowball on both teams of absolutely laughable hit taking up to and after lunch. There was one guy who I kept picking off in the 2nd game, but after lunch I was watching my .48s bounce off him and he just ignored them, even after recoiling from the hit after I sent one into his cheek. Took cover behind the tree again and then started spraying around the corner. When you have days with hit taking like that, you've got to laugh it off; letting it get to you just ruins your day, so I don't let it get to me and just laugh at the ridiculousness of it. Also spent a little time setting up my SR-25, but while it was 1.17J with the hop off, when I applied enough to properly hop .32s the power was down to 0.63J (though it was floating the BBs out to a 50m target without issue), so I'll be sticking a bigger spring in it to get the power up to where it should be. Thankfully it's a quick change spring, so it's pretty easy to tweak. However, I wasn't feeling the mp7 today. It's an AEP, so it works in all weathers, but I just prefer pistols (including the NBB mk23) or GBB SMGs. I can't explain it, I just prefer pistols and they're a bit more manoeuvrable. That said, I didn't need to use the mp7 in game once today. Nobody got within my MED as when they pushed up I elected to bug out instead of staying and fighting. Falling back to another position and hitting them again is far more useful than staying in position and letting them swarm all over you, but it definitely takes it out of you. Just glad my fitness routine is paying off now as I'm able to play a bit more mobile (which is usually for falling back because if I'm advancing it's usually a slow crawl instead). Very much enjoying the m700 though. Definitely my favourite gun at the moment because it's silent, it feels like a real rifle as opposed to my VSR which definitely feels like a toy gun, and I can run it at either 2.3J or 1.1J and it works well at both powers (obviously with some hop adjustment). Roll on next game day, though what I'm really looking forward to is the first Vietnam game at Eversley in April!!!

  16. Those are OpsCore AMP Arms, or a clone of them. They're a fantastic bit of kit and IMO both hold earpro a bit more evenly on the head and are easier to swivel off the head than the two-prong wire ones that attach to the top rail. Plus they allow you to use your upper rails for whatever.

  19. Oopsies! Bit of an impulse purchase... Umarex HK416 A5 GBBR. It's my first gas rifle. Let's see if I can get by with 30 rounds instead of 300 in a mag ;] I've chucked the sight and grip on there... looks like the sight could come off the riser mount tbh. And I might change for a longer, or angled grip. But I think it does look rather smart, always had a soft spot for the looks of the 416

A couple of fresh bits arrived from Ali Exp I have to admit, their shipping times have shortened MASSIVELY since I first bought off the platform two years ago, these arrived about 10 days after ordering A cheeky SF clone Scoutlight And also a lense protector for my Specter DR (when you spend more on an optic now than you did on a decent primary when you started playing πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ)

Have you seen the one-foot-in-the-grave-brigade that make up the regs on here??
    1 point
  24. A decent site will ensure that the HPA inline regulators are locked down with a cable tie, and will conduct spot-checks during the course of the game day. If your site is not doing that - then find one that does. Again, I have seen real-steel sights and genuine Surefires get smashed by legit, chrono-checked 1j AEGs, so your argument about equipment doesn't hold much weight. You don't like HPA guns - we get it. But they are very much here to stay so you will have to learn to live with them if you want to continue with this hobby.
