Myself and @GAMBLE hunt them down pretty efficiently, which tend to end with either a pistol kill or tomahawk kill. Good fun for us and let’s the rest of the team focus on the task at hand.

What you need to do, my friend, is use a mail forwarding service. Pack up something you own, post it out to a forwarding service with the final delivery address set as your own. Boom, all the thrill of a delivery without adding new stuff to the collect. Cheaper than a new rif too!

A mate needed a thumb-saver reloading thingy for his Hi-Capa mags. 10 minutes in Fusion 360, and 40 minutes on the printer later, it worked out pretty good.

Well, these look interesting. They've been on the cards a while, but looks like they're finally coming out. Both the A2 (solid stock) and A3 (sliding stock) will be out and I think they're doing a standard and an EBB version. I've always had a soft spot for the HK53, so hopefully these will be as well built as their G3/HK33, but without quite as much weight up front. No idea on prices, but my guess would be £400 to £500 depending on version. No word on the MP5 yet, sadly, but they might have missed the bidding on that anyway now that Marui's recoil version is due out.

Im more of a CQB kinda of guy and i've been looking at the SR-30 aswell as the ARP 5.56. I've seen a lot of good reviews about this type of RIFs wich is bad because i cant make up my mind... 😅

I have a SR25 which I’m assuming is same gun but uses different mags - i had these fitted when i bought it : Prometheus Purple Bucking Prometheus Flat Hop Tensioner Prometheus EG Barrel 550mm Used it last time i went to a game and was very impressed with it - so a version with full auto like this would be a nice weapon imo

I'd go for a Gate Aster Basic. Does all the DMR stuff (precocking, electronic lock to semi etc) that you'd need plus the connectivity and it's cheaper than the Titan. I have one in my MK12.

not personally (discounting the pilfering of kit by squadmates done in the name of humour and always returned), however i have heard of stuff getting pinched, including a double barreled 1911..... its surprising to me it doesn't happen more often given people just leaving their kit strewn out across the safe sone, rifles, pistols etc. personally if it's not on me it stays locked in the boot of the car. i do recall one day stumbling across a gas vector mag just lying inside a building, normally i would ignore such things but in that instance i figured "if i pick it up at least i know a theiving bugger hasn't", you've never seen such a look of relief when it was re-united with its owner.

Was at longmoor & someone had a rifle nicked (allegedly ?), The day overall was shit but I will commend the organisers for stopping the GamePlay & organising a search of the area & vehicles attending, thoroughly conducted by some plod players. Nothing found unfortunately & later the loss was considered "questionable", due to the past antics of the "victim", but I know I'd want the same effort made if my kit went walkabout. @loctez, what site were you playing at ? EDIT: Reading this back I realise it looks as if I'm talking about a recent game, it's not, it was years ago but the post about kit being nicked makes it a relevant experience I thought I'd share.

Having seen and handled the TMC one it's really not bad at all. As for FRV...nah. They might be good at what they do but they're shocking at handling orders. TacBelts are great and I'd recommend them over FRV any day of the week. I almost got my (old) radio nicked a couple of years ago. Had it in its pouch, unbuckled, so at one point it fell out on the main path. After the game, a teammate found it and asked who the owner was, this woman from another club claimed it was hers (legit Karen levels of yelling), luckily though it had "17" written on it, which was done by the previous owner and I got it back. Quite hilarious as this woman was very upset and kept arguing it was hers, but nobody saw her with a radio that day. Some people are just disgusting.

I do get where you're coming from. But on some items that are nearer the 1k mark, I'd bump a few times. Because some items are worth their value all day long, and gives people chance to find the funds. But on flip side I have seen people sell clone items and wanting real steel prices.

Another thing that I've noticed is the use of tourniquets / bandages for being revived back in the game. For the immersion I guess. Again, like the dead rag, not something I'm overly bothered about using but I suppose the bandage helps signify if your on your last life. (Yes I'm aware people can still just remove it to get another life).

I occasionally use one voluntarily, but I wouldn't like to see them mandated as it gives Oberleutnant Overshoot more free reign to say "Well, your rag wasn't out / I didn't see it."

Dead rags is something that sticks out for me. Seem to be used everywhere but in the UK!!

I’m definitely in the “both sides are trying to screw us over” camp . on the one side you have the U.K. Gov(and I don’t care wether it’s the tories or Labour in power they both would pull the same stunt) seeing a new ATM has opened up and they don’t need a card or an account to draw as much money as they want out of it , then on the other side you’ve got the EU who are desperately trying everything they can to stop Brexit having any kind of success no matter how large or small it may be simply because they know if there is any benefit out of it for the U.K. then their whole house of cards will come crashing down and the dream of one super state ruled by France and Germany is dead in the water . having spoken to a few different European nationals over the past year or so about it who’ve said how much they want Brexit to work so their own countries can do the same and get out I really do believe this is the EU’s controlling powers game plan .

I love mine. It's the smallest gun I've owned and I don't think I could go back to a full sized pistol now. That hasn't stopped me wanting to stick a huge suppressor on it though lol

Even at 1J the difference is noticeable. I can comfortably snipe people even with my AEGs, but they can't retaliate because they have 10/15m less range. Made gameplay more stagnant though

All of the experienced bush wookiees at my local site are opting for 1J guns instead. The other two are using Wolverine MTWs and I'm putting a Polarstar F2 in my m14 once I've cleared my debts; with hop ups the way they are these days, 2.3J just isn't as worth it as it used to be. Also, not all bush wookiees go for headshots. And not all people who go for headshots are bush wookiees. Dicks come in all shapes and sizes (hurhurhur)

If you're basing this off of watching WuTube sniper videos, they're heavily edited. At the risk of it all Kicking Mustang off again, some of them take deliberate face shots to generate clickbait, go out of bounds, set up before the game, ignore MEDs, don't call their own hits, and add fake hit markers to big up their 1337 5k33lz and generate even more drama. It's not common though, eventually it leads to site inviting them to not come back, and sniping isn't as generally effective as they make it out to be, not at most sites on most days. You can have a great day when you find the perfect spot against the perfect cluster of victims, or you can get overrun and pasted in short order. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the best way to find out the realities of airsoft is to go and play it.

My game yesterday was amazing. Very warm and very sweaty, but we played in an area of the site we never play in, allowing me to use a pathway that only a tiny handful of players (mostly marshalls) know about to plink away at the enemy team with my silent HPA VSR setup and have them scratching their heads wondering where the hell they got shot from / how the hell did someone get behind them in a chokepoint-y game. Arms and legs are covered in scratches bcause I had to fight through thorns to use it as it's super overgrown, but worth it. Also, I ditched the ghillie a few months ago due to temperatures / humidity / general sweat and eye-pro fogging, but I went one further and only wore a short sleeved OD t-shirt and BDU trousers while sniping and I still had people almost trip over me and be super surprised after I shoot them. Superior fieldcraft trumps a ghillie suit every day of the week and it's good to get the practice without it. Plus it feels even better when you go unnoticed while knowing you're not wearing the best camo. Maybe I'll try it next in a loud hawaiian shirt... I also ache all over today, which means it was a good day!

Bush here. Move. It's very hard to hit a moving target at range. Use cover even if you don't see a threat. Communicate. If someone was hit then - after respawn - tell people about it. See someone get hit? Don't go and stand at the exact same spot. When you do know where the sniper is: tell others, then move quickly from cover to cover, not straight towards him and move within MED while laying down cover fire. It's not like in computer games where the sniper is far away with a nice clear view of the whole field. We are most likely in a position where we can sometimes spot a part of someone, we are laying in an awkward position, goggles fogging up because of the hot ghillie, or not seeing much because of the mesh goggles, struggling with the gun - it never works as we want - calculating wind, range, and always hitting that single blade of grass that throws off the BB. Well within the range of an average AEG too.

Get on lad, the more the merrier. So long as hit markers never appear it's all good. 😂

Mark II Goggle fan mount with integrated on/off switch. Tested fitted - just need to solder up a switch - and find some black screws. Next step - goggle strap mounted battery enclosure.

3 days without an MWS post!? 😳 This will not do! I was always on the fence about painting this rifle, but after fitting the battered and bruised 551 I knew the unmarked black paintwork looked out of place! So after a bit of time with some khaki Krylon and thinners this is the end result. It's not easy to replicate something that would normally occur naturally but I'm happy with the end result. Although it's hard knowing when to stop! The beauty of this though as it's very easy to go back over it and amend anything you don't like. All it needs now is a suitably weathered weapon light and laser unit.
