Externally it's finished for now. Once I figure out where I will use it, I will probably add more camo.

I took photos of nearly everything today because I've just unpacked most of them so why not. My very much WIP A&K M249. Got an MAG 2.5k box mag for it and a rail as well as a new barrel, dust cover and flash hider (not fitted). Daytona kit will be on its way soon too. My new, very old TM M9 with Zeke full metal kit and walnut grips for which I think there's a part missing* *Somewhat amusingly, the photo was taken ontop of a vintage HMRC crate, whilst the missing slide is stuck in customs at Heathrow. TM M1911 with a Hurricane Kimber Tactical Entry II kit My very old, very bastardised L96 that has so many parts from so many manufacturers that I can't really give it one brand G&P WOC TM G18c

i must confess my sins: yesterday, after having feeding issues with my new gun and after a few tests, identifying my PTS magazines as the cause... ... I used a high-cap i felt dirty with every shot, and winding the mag only made the feeling worse i had to caress my 30rd G5 mags for a full hour before i felt better enough to clean my guns before putting them away

Get a pdi 6.05 instead. Try airlab for them.

Just used the stock g&g 6.03. Plan on getting a Prommy 6.03 though when I get the r hop.

Try and get yourself a Firefly soft bucking if you can find one, fitted one to my L86 and it now get's excellent range and accuracy. Saying that, G&G greens, Prometheus purples and guarder clears are also excellent buckings. If you've got the time, have a go at R-hopping if you want some serious range.

Prommy purple works well with flat hop. I used a g&g green in mine and that works well too. I sanded the notch in my bucking down instead of slicing it with a knife as I didn't want to knacker the bucking. Went from getting 40-50 mtr range to getting 65-70 metre range and better accuracy with flat hop. I'm getting someone to R-hop it for me next month though so that I don't have to change Buckings so often.

I bought an orange double eagle ak47 with a plastic gearbox I broke it within a day I bought a set of proprietary gears, which didn't work and gave off a tonne of metal shavings I bought a Cyma metal hop up, which didn't fit I bought a Cyma metal gearbox, which barely fitted Then, I bought a G&P body with a madbull handguard, didn't fit Bought a G&P specific barrel nut for the madbull... right... ok... Damaged G&P body Sold G&P body A week later... the barrel nut came..... fookin useless now Ehhh my life story, but hey! At least, I picked up a free Dytac M4 magazine I found on the ground at a skirmish!

have you tried cleaning the mag? more specifically a the bb track?

at my first game, I was holding the gun side ways around a tree. Wondering why all of my bb's were curving off to the left. at the time i thought I had got a shit rental gun... ..

Most of my opinions are against the normal so I'll go with the "not proud of" part. On one of my first games I detached from my fire team to sneak to an objective. Close to the objective I got hit by a single BB, I looked around, saw no one and convinced myself that it was not a hit. That was about 7 years ago and I still feel bad about it.

Yeah but I always recommend a UK seller if possible.

iv just bought a magpul pts rm4 erg and its probs the best i have its accuracy and realism of the recoil is awesome i got it from land warrior airsoft for 357.99 with extra mag and delivery the cheapest around.

The pdi 6.08 or 6.05 will out perform the tighter barrels. I find bucking and nub combos are very much in the eye of the beholder just try different things until you find one which seems to work.Wouldnt go any higher than 90 or 100 spring other wise it will start going over site limits and forget the 11.1v lipo its not necessary. What are you actually aiming for with the build?

Are you sure that PDI do a 6.8? I know they do a 6.08 but that still constitutes a tight bore (or perhaps a 'normal' bore - if there's such a thing); I'd say a wide bore is anything over about .15. The differences depend on AEG or GBBR (whether you have an NPAS or it's HPA rigged) and what sort of barrel length you're going for. The overall difference though is that of range at the cost of efficiency (so a lower FPS). Personally I'm putting wide bore barrels in everything that isn't a pistol these days so long as I'm happy with a substantial FPS drop (which I find can be compensated for with other parts), but if it's a stock gun then the likelihood is that a tight bore is going to be a better choice for you. It really can depend. If it's a pistol then the answer is always going to be 'no', because frankly the difference will be negligible in such a short space (if you want accuracy in a pistol then go for a TK Twist barrel and a Laylax purple VSR bucking). AFAIK, the only well known manufacturers of what I'd call 'true' wide bore barrels are Prometheus/Laylax/First (with their 6.20 Delta Strike) and ORGA with their Magnus 6.23. I own both, but I've not fitted the ORGA one - I can report back once I've given it a shot (ehehe). The Delta Strike seems fine, but the plastic hope window (meant for r-hopping) was a bad call in the majority of cases, and requires a lot of work to make sure a proper air tight seal is present between the hope up rubber, plastic hop window and brass barrel. It is far cheaper than the ORGA Magnus though (costs about 60% of the price). tl;dr If you can afford to lose ~30-50 FPS (or make up for that loss elsewhere) and are prepared to flat hop/R-Hop then do it; If you can't then stick with a tight bore.

On the one hand I agree, on the other if someone is stupid enough to buy something without researching its real worth then they kind of deserve it IMO.

With that budget you can buy pretty much any AEG on the market. I quite like the look of the new Krytac SPR. The PTS RM4 is quite a cool gun aswell. If i was getting a new gun it would be one of those 2 i think,

So I was at a game earlier today and I was told by a lad (with his friends then crowding around and nodding in agreement), that I had "the coolest shotgun in Scotland" Thanked him and his friends for the compliment but what do you guys think?

at a guess it would be confiscated ... that said i do remember a few years a guy who was making love to his wife earlier, managed to "subdue" the burglar with his gentleman sausage ... the burglar though the thing poking him in the back was a "loaded weapon"
