  1. TAG 'Starter kit' (one launch shell and 8 Reaper rounds) plus another shell. Fit nicely in my ARES EGLM, just waiting for an opportunity to test fire.

  2. So you're complaining that the discount they gave you, that they didn't have to offer at all... Wasn't big enough? Some people really never are happy.

  3. Not bothered with any real loadout just yet but I never look good in anything really might buy a really really expensive all black ninja mofo loadout then go play midnight skirmishes so nobody can see my expsensive loadout (that would be black jeans & black sweater/hoodie btw but you'd never know) should get some rig n sling perhaps but I will always have that scruffy messed up "just dragged through a hedge backwards" style whatever I wear I guess

  4. I don't think there's a particular load out for a specific weapon. Load outs are more for where your playing or personal preference. If I am playing indoor CQB I'll wear my black load out. Woodland I'll wear my Atacs FG or MTP, maybe my DPM. The choice is yours dude. Some people just wear jeans and a hoodie and crack on I with their day.

  6. You are best off avoiding any form of vest/webbing/plate carrier until you have things you need to put in it. Wearing a plate carrier for a single spare hi cap makes you look like a twit. A good pair of surplus boots, and a pair of surplus trousers from your local army surplus shop (google it) or Ebay. I got an Olive, Tan and Black fleece from decathlon for £4 each, they go with most loadouts and are not too bulky now the weather is changing. Gear is a cycle, you start with nothing, then you buy everything! loadout with 6 hicaps 3000 bbs, 3litres of water and wonder why your knackered after 2 hours, then you ditch it all and return to running mags in your pockets and then you load up again, each time the circle rotates, the price of the gear gets exponentially more expensive.

  7. That and for the sake of four pence, I'd rather give my custom to the people who were the cheapest initially because frankly prices promises are a cop out - 'we'll rip off who we can by charging more than most people because no-one will notice, but if you call us on it and we'll give you a discount to shut you up'... It feels to me like its cheating - although I work in an industry where there's an eternal cycle of price promising going on between competitors and it irritates me so I may be misguided.

  8. About time I got a proper bag for my guns and stopped using a rucksack. It's smaller too so forces me not to carry all the random sh*t I never use on a skirmish but bring anyway. £18 off ebay

  9. the tunnels are huge, the airsoft section is only a small bit of the whole network so there's no worry about bumping into a bunch of ghost hunters... one thing I will advise though is taking a torch because it's FUCKING DARK down there.

    S&T PP19 Bizon

I took the plunge and went for a Silverback one with 4 midcaps. Just paid £180 and will pay the remainder of £70 on Tuesday. Not a bad deal for either side. I think if I had pressed harder I could have scalped him, but tbh i'm not suffering from walletitis at the moment so there was no need.

    M4 Sights...

As far as sights go you have your four main types: Iron Sights - Standard issue and come on most of your weapons. Usually an aperture at the rear sight and a pin at the other end. Cheap, effective, durable and don't need batteries. Reflex Sights - (Often known as red dots from video games) Not to go too sciencey on you but they work on reflecting a form of dot or cross-hair onto a piece of glass or plastic. An advantage of them is that you can comfortably keep both eyes open and see through your sights. Can be cheap or very expensive and run on batteries. Holographic Sights - I know you speak of an eotech replica (it is not a real one most likely as they are very expensive) but that sight is unlikely (99% certain it is not unless it is hundreds of pounds) an actually holographic sight. The reason is holographic sights work on holograms to give a supposedly more accurate sight picture and reduce parallax (the problem of having two eyes in two different places), they are very accurate for real steal fire arms but not that necessary for airsoft as an airsoft gun does not give real accuracy comparable to a real M4. The sight you are viewing is probably a reflex sight as sights are classified by how they work and although it looks like a holographic sight from video games it is just visually the same and is scientifically no different to the standard to another reflex sight. Scopes - These are quite simply for your long range shooting and are good due to their magnification. They will have numbers in the title and this is how they work: for example a 3-9x50E sight means it has magnification levels from 3-9 (A single number means fixed magnification). The 50 refers to the object lens size (in mm) which refers to how much light is let in. Some sights have an E at the end and some do not, the E refers to whether the sight has electric illumination of the cross-hair (which again requires batteries). As far as my recommendation goes I would say for your average M4 your iron sights are more than sufficient, however, if you plan to go for an expensive scope/reflex sight that can break (which is basically everything except iron sights) get a speed BB shield as they will protect your investment (do not get a cheap chinese clone as they will give up after 1-2 shots in cqb). Hope I helped and just remember to zero any sight you get in your garden before you skirmish with it!

  17. buy some gaffa tape from me - bargain £500 for this special airsoft mag tape tape the mags and they won't fall out ya pocket - just like in COD but works (provided the 2nd mag's catch don't open and you lose all bb's on floor - FAIL) so make sure the door shuts with a little click and not open easily or your cool dual mags perk will be you looking like a right berk instead or if you think 2 x 300 or 2 x 450 mags may not last then sir may I suggest: 5,000 rounds no more mags - available in windup or in posey auto wind model please note your motor/gearbox may blow before you finish the mag but if you REALLY want to lay down covering fire for team - the this will do the job indeed you u18 and some of them pig ugly full face masks might be worth considering if 2 piece googles n lower face guard has any big gaps showing marshals may say nope not good enough if too much skin on display. Also I was glad at a cqb site recently, some guy sprinted up all die hard got to side cover/corner and fired at me - great shot but fvck me right at side of my jaw crack it went - could feel the bb at about 7ft through the mask.... fvck me wot is this $hit about aiming for body first ffs - no $hit - on my kids life yeah that ugly mask saved my handsome mush from a pounding that day right on corner of mask/jaw line - can still hear the crack it made - mad fvcker

Don't take life too seriously, yes at work I gotta do my job properly but we can still have a laugh unless we are under it so to speak - then we have to do what it takes but mostly we still can't cut corners I take work serious - really do my best there coz I'm being paid to be be so good like all of us there BUT I am an old fart, had my fair share of $hit hitting the fan n stuff - lost loved ones and heard some even wose $hit happening to other friends - that kind of puts it all into context when things ain't always going your way or how you would like it to. Myself included often forget how fortunate we are but moan anyway..... Don't be afraid to have a dig at yourself from time to time - you alone are your best critic and know that you have your own faults & imperfections - I don't need a shrink to analyze me back to my childhood - very very longtime ago, and blame my upbringing/parents/family enviroment wasn't loved as a child n crap I know I got problems (apart from babbling way too much), I got problems ffs - that is why they are called: MY PROBLEMS so I just get on with it like we all have to do in the end.... Humour or me always going off-topic - well often you may as well try to have a laugh whilst we ride through the world - getting stressed just don't work, but there is a balance like I explained and a time to mess about If you wanna pi$$ your boss/teachers off a lot after they just had a go at you - SMILE - jeez that really pi$$es them off - but be careful you don't get slapped in process. Hopefully we remember the moments that make us laugh a bit more than ones that make us cry Sorry for derailing thread - once again, but too many people take life way way way too seriously yup I am a grumpy bastid too at times, but I come on forums to chill, and maybe learn/share some stuff I don't come on here to have goes at people or have to defend myself - can't be ar$ed with rowing and online ego crap - but I do bite back if caught on wrong day like us all I suppose soz once again - fanx to all members on here who put up with me & my lame ar$e stupid ways if I annoy anyone - soz but pm me & I reduce the crap I post peace

  23. I would rather buy over the counter anyway and in this case it was the cheaper option. I personally wouldn't have asked for a price promise since it means very little and there could be a fault. Over the counter means you could return it and have a replacement within 24 hours. A few pence or pounds isn't much to pay for peace of mind

  28. Almost finished my M4, I'm just waiting on an AFG, T1 microdot and a vltor mini gas block. There will also be be a 6.02 407mm barrel and a M300a finding its way onto it, bank balance permitting. With a gassed mag it weighs in at 3Kg, which I'm told is an accurate weight to a proper M4. So far it lines up as: G&P Magpul / Vltor receiver. 2 piece barrel (9.5 inch and 14 inch) Free float RAS. Genuine Magpul XTM covers. Genuine Magpul Grip. Genuiine Magpul CTR stock. Repro Magpul Back up sights. GHK M4 GBB conversion. G&G Green Rubber SHS 6.03 247mm barrel TM Glock: Guarder Frame, slide, inner barrel and 150% spring. I'm also working on a Marksman M4 AEG as a backup field gun.

  33. I have one of those vests, Flex. They are excellent. Lighter than PLCE, more versatile than SAAV, and more comfortable than a WAS RICAS. IMO £32 is a bit over the odds, but it does look to be in good condition, and those rocket pouches can cost more than a tenner on their own. The horizontal pouches for maglite and pocket knife are exactly the right size for speedloaders

  34. I'd not agree on the condor stuff... I have almost exclusively condor kit and it's excellent. I've used their pistol and mag pouches, chest rig, battle belt, admin, map and other various pouches and their all top notch. I very quickly found that plate carriers are mainly pointless. I can run a full day with only my belt rig... So much so that my chest rig is going. On the rig I have, there's 3 sections, 2 sides and a middle... you can carry... (left side) 3x M4 high cap mags. 3x. Pistol mags (right side) Dump pouch Pistol Flashbangs And at the mo, I'm working on the rear, which will be gas and more pyro.... But that setup is for speed. (fast transitions, reloads, etc). You could double that all easily... Even the sides I'm using all have plenty of real estate left. I'd think about what you actually want to carry before investing in a system.

  36. Agreed there's not much need for any attachments to start with. There are already a few guides here on the forums I'd recommend searching for and reading, they're really useful for beginners and I wish I'd seen them before I started. I'd say get some camo clothing first. Any surplus stuff should be cheap (especially DPM) and clothing is quality as you'd expect. If you've got a generous budget you could search more for some different camouflage patterns and manufacturers but generally surplus is a good choice. After that, decent pair of boots are a worthwhile purchase. Of course don't forget good eye protection too, you don't want to lose your sight so buy a well known brand. Personally I'd aim to get some ballistic goggles such as ESS Wolf Spider / Desert Locusts / Smith Optics Boogie Regulators or custom mesh products by Heroshark. Again, I think there are probably guides on eyewear anyway (if not, might make one myself) In terms of plate carriers, cheapest you will probably get are either MFH or Condor. Both brands should be available from Military 1st. I don't think MFH is great quality, Condor is okay but not the best and will probably break after a while. There's also Flyye which are a Chinese company but their products are nice quality. However I think the cheapest plate carrier is the Fast Attack Plate Carrier for £70. For another £30 you could get a Warrior Assault Systems DCS Plate Carrier (CKinnerly on here did a review of one) for £105-£110 which is an excellent real steel mil-spec (military quality) system (and it's available in a load of camos to suit your loadout) available from UK Tactical. Chest rigs. Loads of choice, depending on budget. Bulle rigs are good (I have the MOLLE Recon Chest Harness) you can buy them from Flecktarn.co.uk. Condor ones are also pretty cheap (not sure how they compare to Bulle) There's also the Tactical Tailor Mini MAV which is very small but awesome for a lightweight loadout and just carrying essential sort of stuff. If you're after gloves, Mechanix are supposed to be excellent. I'm buying a pair soon but haven't used any yet. Hope I covered some things you were wanting to know and that it helps. Sorry for long post, I can post some links as well later if needed or you want some more inspiration or something.

I might be a little late to this thread but one of my mates (who's a real enthusiast for Soviet kit) has a Silverback PP-19, and it is l-o-v-e-l-y to fire and use. The mags fit in a Chicom style chest rig's pouches and it is indeed very accurate for a stock weapon. It's lasted longer than his Dboys AKS-74U and he's run the PP-19 for about 3 years without problems.

This would be my loadout if I were in your position Primary: t4-18 gen 2 seondary- depends, if you have money maybe a WE glock or a TM of some sort, but leave this till last. Gear: issue multicam/woodland kit inc top, trousers. Buy boots off of cadette direct or some place like that. RIG/PC: TMC/EMERSON JPC, and buy a few mag pouches, and maybe a bigger pouch for other things to carry around. Accesories: Plenty of heavier bbs, maybe a red dot, probably some mid caps, ( i think you get 1hi cap, that will be fine with some mid caps, will last you to lunch) say the mid caps are 150 rounds, then 3 of them means you have 900 rounds fully loaded and only need 1 mag pouch when you load the gun with a mag. SPEND A DECENT AMOUNT ON GOOD FACE PROTECTION, you can't replace your eyes £30+^^^ If you decide you want to play indoors maybe a torch/flashlight ? that would be what I would do, I have probably forgotten something, so I will edit it in if I have

  48. What?! no, don't be retarded. No one is saying that shooting someone at point blank with a 500fps gun is a good idea, the MED is there for a reason but to suggest that snipers can 'bang' kill people inside their 30m MED is outrageous. If that were a rule I'd buy a sniper rifle tomorrow and never fire a shot because I wouldn't ever have to aim again; I could just run about shouting bang and people would be dead. If you have a sniper rifle that has a mandatory MED then its USELESS even as a prop inside of that MED, get another gun or go for the contact-kill. As for someone putting the muzzle of a loaded 500fps gun anywhere near my face (e.g. on my shoulder)... I dare you, I double dare you to try that. It'll end up with that 500fps gun in 2 bits over my knee and some tiny tears from the pleb who thought it was a good idea.
