    Good news this morning. 

    Filed a PayPal case against Ruoskygear on aliexpress for failing to send the fma helmet and got an email today to say a full PayPal refund is being issued! Offsets the £40 I paid for one off patrolbase in the end

    Gotta love amazon Sunday deliveries. One Tigris ops core style helmet cover turned up today and was fitted to the fma exfil. Just have to pick up my atacs ix stuff from the post office tomorrow as I was in Nottingham at Warhammer world when they tried to deliver. Typical. Then wait for my throat mic/ptt/earpiece combo to arrive from radioworld and all will be good.

    Fancy dress airsoft at Combat Action Games. 80’s  theme. So no plate carrier etc. Gonna try and pull off something resembling slash from GnR. Guitar melee kills anyone

    The bfg is mostly for bunker clearing as the local site has a lot of small bunkers and fox holes. Anything else will still be paper pyro as you can lob that more safely that a pound of metal

    Had these turn up so far today and the postie hasn’t even been yet. 511 tdu duty belt for keeping those trousers up. In keeping with a lighter feel to my kit. Flyye water bottle pouch as opposed to running about with a camelback and courtesy of patrol base. Fma exfil (team Wendy clone) helmet. Worked out just as cheap as the Ali express one and a whole lot less hassle. Now I’m just waiting for my Leo kholer atacs ix trousers and ubacs and my 1t opscore style multicam helmet cover.

    Don’t use ruoskygear store on aliexpress. Ordered a fma exfil lite foliage green helmet last Monday. 4 days ago (2 before the cancellation deadline) they asked if I would accept dark earth instead which was ok. Yesterday morning it was marked as despatched. A few hours before automatic cancellation. Today they message to say they don’t have DE would black be ok. Well clearly it hasn’t been despatched and they are lying.

      Can’t cancel the order as they have declared it as shipped. Also can’t open a disputed until 10 days after it’s marked as shipped.

      Gutted for you mate. That's the one time that AliExpress is an issue, when it goes wrong!

      Just FYI, the FMA Unity Tactical style helmet adaptors won't work on an Exfil helmet. I had to blag the adaptor from Unity Tactical themselves which cost an arm and a leg for two little bits of metal!

      They the adapters for things like sordins and contacts headsets? If so I’m ok as I run a throat mic with security style ear piece.

    no more fighting tooth and nail with the crappy xl burst grenade. Nope as of today pappa has a brand new toy. Dynatex timed bfg with some 9mm blanks. Also now have some Leo Kholer atacs ix trousers and a ubacs enroute to me too.

    so i got a multicam plate carrier and battlebelt with a helmet on the way. Question is what camo to get. Multicam, mc tropic, mc black, atacs or something else. Cant decide.

      should go well with the Multicam plate carrier and battle belt, along with the helmet with multicam cover (if aliexpress ever sip it). Oooooh and got me a nice Dynatex timed bfg for some woodland chaos too

    Picked this up today. Warrior low profile plate carrier with SAPI plates. Warrior pathfinder chest rig. Solo industries belt with blue force double m4 pouch, warrior pistol mag pouch, warrior tan small utility pouch, grenade pouch, ATACS fg warrior universal pistol holster, viper roll up dump pouch and a tactical tailor 7.62 mag pouch. Mall for the princely sum of £160. Also ordered a dynatex timed bfg with blanks. Want a fma exfil helmet, tried Ali express but cancelled today as after a week the seller still hadn’t shipped it.

    Uh oh. Might be joining the multiglam brigade. Warrior cpc,pathfinder chest rig, solo international belt with assorted extra pouches and warrior universal pistol holster. All for £160. I think I might have to bite.

    That moment when you get some unexpected money and you have to decide. New warrior recon/pathfinder with all the bells and whistles and a bfg. Or a new rif.

      Looks like new kit, bfg and mags for my erg are in the cards. Finally trade up from the 30/60’s to 30/120 mags. Just need a decent woodland grenade now.

    Thought of the day. 

    For the occasional (fortnightly) average joe skirmisher. Is the extra money for something like warrior gear really worth it over your 8fields, tmc etc. 

    Looking at a new loadout for myself and considering a od warrior pathfinder/plate carrier combo.

      depends what your bothered by eg colours of camo if you are getting a camo one . Also if you are gonna stick with it . I found the cheap stuff perfectly serviceable.

      I tend to switch between loadouts. Been running about in my tears of the sun impression for best part of a year. Mix in my more pmc black/tan loadout when playing non woodland or cqb

      Ok fair enough , I can vouch they are strong enough to protect from an impact though after having half a brick knocked out of 1st floor window (a derelict farm house at the old pathfinder site Swansea valley) bounce of one I was wearing , freely admit I did see stars AND had a killer headache for a good few hrs afterward but I was ok and the helmet wasn’t even cracked , you could see white staring in the plastic from the impact but no cracking .👍

    on the prowl for a new belt as my el cheepo has given up the ghost. Cant decide between the frv shooters belt or a warrior gunfighter.

    my PTS KWA ERG lives once more. Talk about a pain to sort in the end. Intermittent fault making it worse.  

    All new connectors. Still not properly fixed. 

    Completely rewired. Still not fixed. 

    New motor. Eureka finally rocking like it should. £110 on repairs ouch.

      It was second hand. Just a few years old and had trouble figuring out what was causing the fault. But it ran flawlessly today

      In fairness @Druid799 it was working fine for about 6 months. Then just after Xmas it developed an intermittent fault that was really awkward to diagnose. Think the motor was just knackered, it just seemed more like to be a connector/contact wiring issue as it was so random.

    Ics cxp ape and kwa erg both back up and running thanks to Sean at Combat Action Games. Ape needed a new piston and the erg wasn’t the trigger mech after all. Just a faulty connector. 

    Happy days and only £25 out of pocket. 

    Ics mars needs proper surgery though as main board is fried.

    Cant believe my run of bad luck. 

    Ics cxp ape - piston stripped a few months ago. 

    2 weeks ago trigger mech fried on my kwa erg. 

    Today everything fine. Get home ics mars starts running away on full auto and won’t stop unless the battery is disconnected. 

    All 3 primaries knackered

      The ape is an easy fix considering its a split gearbox. Get a new piston and install it, wont take more then 20 minutes first time.

      They ain’t ever taking mine. That’s what super glue was invented for. Though they can take the cxp ape seeing as it stripped its piston just before the final big fight for Main Street at pleasurewood hills.

    Best suggestions for a sub £100 pistol. Preferably suitable for winter too and maybe an extra mag. Thinking the asg mk23. Any other good suggestions ?
