  1. Yeah I'm down at skirmish this Sunday. Pretty unmissable, just look for the guy running a full on British load out, laden down with kit and more magazines than you can shake a stick at (now 12 including pistol mags).
  2. Welcome to the site. Kiss goodbye to your money. I'm another local to you though I play at skirmish on plumstead road. I started out about 3 months ago and can't remember what it was like to have money in my bank lol.
  3. I was torn between a sig and glock 17. Then got offered everything I mentioned for £130 and decision was made lol.
  4. Picked this lot up last night. Serpa holster, Blackhawk drop leg holster, gas, knife, barrel rod, Bb bags, Tokyo marui sig p226 with upgraded hop rubber and bucking + tight bore barrel. Also 2 mags and a damaged 3rd that needs a new top along with a torch for the pistol.
  5. while you at it if you see an ics threaded surefire flash hider and some unicorn poop let me know M_P lol. Both those items seem very difficult to come by. The flash hider as it's discontinued and you never seem to see any emags about
  6. Apparently poor wasn't enough. Nope. Now I'm in paupersville. Just ordered a WE Phantom spectre doctor sight Nuptial nllm (basically a llm01 clone) Ris sight rail for l85.
  7. Todays airsoft crack collection rendered me poor...less that 24 hours after payday buuut Madbull Daniels defense rail for my l85a2 ICS adaptor for the rail. set of 4 Foliage green 20mm 18 step ladders Acog killflash with complimentary spectre killflash This goes with the ICS l85a2, acog, 10 75 round beta project mags, guarder bag, 4 LiFe batteries, charger and Grippod purchased since last tuesday. Only need to get the sight ris rail, llm01 and spectre+docter scope now.
  8. If he feels he can play then by all means rock up and have a blast. Disabilities can be accounted for easily enough in any environment if people are willing. From my limited experience of airsoft, there seems a good majority of the 'right' sort. On a side note. A few years back i was a senior marshal at a paintball site. We ran a game day for a large group of players who were all deaf. Yes we had to adapt things like safety speeches, game briefs etc. But we worked hard in our prep and ran a smooth game day. The players had a blast, we surprise ourselves and it showed. Nothing is impossible.
  9. Would this be the one Ed? http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/parts-c8/external-parts-c97/madbull-daniel-defense-l85-adapter-for-ics-p2375
  10. Hi guys n gals, need some help with my ics l85a2. I have just purchased a madbull DD rail for it. Now i know i need a adapter for it. I was wondering if anyone had used the one from ANT supplies and if so does it fit properly etc. Also i was wondering if there was a specific type of ris ladder that the british army use. I believe its the 20mm type ladder, but is is specifically the flat one, indented one or a mix. I am wanting to order the adaptor and rail covers in the morning hence the panicked questions! Apart from Land Warrior, Ant supplies is the only place i can find that has the adapters in stock. Any help appreciated (ANT also have rail ladder covers so if anyone knows if they are the ones please shout). Adapter http://ant-supplies.co.uk/Pages/AirsoftSA80HandguardAdapters.aspx Ris ladder covers (rubber ladder grip set) http://ant-supplies.co.uk/Pages/AirsoftRailCovers.aspx many thanks for any help
  11. Well apart from 3 Life batteries, a charger, grippod, kill flash. I also bought this on tuesday. Isn't she beautifull! Can't wait to skirmish next weekend!!!
  12. So going on whats said. Would you say the package in the pic is worth the £200. The AFG and gripod are both genuine magpull Other pics that have been shown are,
  13. cheers folks. Main concern is dropping £200 on the gun and not really knowing if the mentioned issues are going to be mega expensive to fix.
  14. Hi folks, i was wondering if any of you could offer any help/advice/assistance. I was thinking of picking up a second hand AEG. Its a L119a1 that someone had built off a kings arms m4. Being new to airsoft and the techy side of things, i am not sure if this is a 'grab it' or 'avoid it' situation. The gun has a couple of issues at the moment. The front sight pins dont line up with the pin holes for them (possibly a new outer battel needed?) The sight is securely in place at the moment and doesnt wobble at the mo though. After about 10 metres the shits start to veer off to the right slightly (new hop? or inner barrel?) The guns going for £200. But obviously needs a bit of work. It can be seen in this pic with everything thats included
  15. Well the last bits of kit arrived today. So now spare money goes on game days and saving for my gun. I have completely redone the helmet, removed all the rails from it and added layer after layer of scrim. Also fitted my camelbak to my osprey and you can just see the corner of the Nato deployment bag sneaking into the picture (the bag is huge! Will be able to fit an l85 in there with all my gear fair easily). So ofcourse the pic is a must (won't show the photobombing german shepher one though).
  16. I don't know. Im used to running about with full plce webbing, patrol pack, weapon and on many occasions that was either lsw or sa80 and a small house...i mean mk6 helmet on. Not much fun when you have a couple of litres of water, a days rations, ammo etc in the patrol pack aswell as whats on your webbing. So the osprey etc feels pretty light in comparison. Should probably also mention. I topped out at 16 stone in weight last year.Hit the gym/diet routine at the start of this year and am now 14 and half stone. So a lot fitter and lighter than i was too! (not that i was ever over 12.5stone in the reserves, but that was 11 years ago now)
  17. Give me time seniorspaz. I have to buy myself an ICS l85 and all the bits to bring it up to afghan spec and we know how expensive that gets!. Will eventually add a glock and holster to the loadout too. Second gun will be a DMR but thats not gonna happen until atleast next year and will be l129a1 which at the moment means another custom build.
  18. I dread to think how much its cost so far but a rough breakdown. Osprey mk4a+ 3 single mag open top pouches, 2 utility pouches, medic pouch, 2 ap grenade pouch, 9mm pistol mag pouch, ancillaries kit and camelbak around £145. (it has the half size neck armour but i don't use that as i keep mine as 'fighting order'. Then theres the mtp clothing and shemagh and rigger belt about £50. Haix high liability boots were £65 Oakley gloves £35 Ess advancers were £25 Mich2002+helmet cover+dragon accessories kit £65 So without all the postage thats around £385.....sheesh..think i need to go have a lie down now! Edit- ah yes, i have seen the videos, read the build log on here by airsoft ed/bullet4myenemey. I have been watching a lot of his videos on his channel over the last week.
  19. As it says on the box. Just posting up to say hi. I'm new to the forum and new to airsoft. You may have seen my name crop up on a couple of forums or fb. I made the decision to jump into airsoft a few weeks ago and since then i have been buying the various bits and pieces to complete my first loadout. Initially i am going for a british late afghan conflict load out and will be playing my first ever airsoft game this sunday at Skirmish Norwich I hope to eventually get myself an Ics L85a2 and apply all the afghan spec mods to it including an elcan sight etc. But thats a ways off in the future when i have my ukara registration and more importantly the finances to buy it all. Over the last few weeks i have been selling a load of old hobby stuff to fun my airsoft journey. At this point i am just waiting on the arrival of my Nato deployment bag to ba able to carry all my gear, my camelbak and a 'helmet accessories kit' from Draon supplies (black band, olive scrim net and srim strips) to finish off my basic load out. I opted for a mich2002 helmet as opposed to a mk7 as morally i wont pick a mk7 up until it becomes genuine surplus (guys out there on the front line need them more than me!). And i hate the mk6 having worn it for 6 years!. Outside of airsoft i work for specsavers...so expect the banter every time i miss a shot to consist of 'should have gone to spec savers' no doubt lol. I'm a dad to 4 girls a little boy. Prior to airsoft i spent a good few years playing tournament paintball as well as having 2 seperate 3 year stints in the Territorial Army as a Royal Green Jacket. So yeah...err thats me. Hi all and well this is me in my load out as it stands right now (have ESS advancers for eye pro and a lower mesh mask that i dont get on with at all!) The current state of my sudo mk7 (mich) helemt. The helemt needs work and i am hoping the kit from dragon will help with that when it arrives.
  20. I used to live out MK way a while ago.If your looking for army surplus kit, there was a good store in Stony Stratford on the main high street. Might be worth checking it out.
