Hey guys, Thought I'd give a heads up, there's a member here by the name of JubJub, been on here a long time but never actually posted much, seemingly preferring to use zeroin instead. Recently he was banned on zin for his selling "issues & irregularities", I only became aware when another member contacted me here as he was having issues with a sale & I'd previously given JubJub negative feedback due to his timewasting (I'd actually forgotten I'd done this, as I rarely give poor feedback). Anyway, since his ban over there he's started selling here, at least one member here currently has a PayPal case against for supplying incomplete/damaged kit, others may be having issues but not made it public yet ?. Essentially he'll waste your time, send kit broken or incomplete, if you actually receive anything it will arrive much later than promised, & his latest jape is selling singular items to more than one member, so again someone ain't getting what they paid for. I'm not posting this lightly, I'm not in the business of character assassination, but if anyone is considering buying from him, be aware of what to expect. The zin thread can be found here: https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/rate-a-trader/3135647-warning-forum-user-jubjub Good luck suckers 😜 Mark2 points

The missus should be happy about this. That's one less gun case needed. On that note I now have a VFC SCAR hard case going if anyone wants it2 points -

Yeah those are all high caps. I'm actually selling them as I'm taking @Kls77's advice and using those SR-25 midcaps1 point -
Thank you Seth, she's doing ok, hope you & yours are coping too. Personally I'm not prepared to relax our own personal precautions until the daily death tolls hit single figures, fuck what MPs are saying.1 point

I ran a battery bag on side of stock and used proper sized lipos in my vfc scar h dmr . It was set up as dmr and higher fps on semi . Be gentle (ISH ) with the selectors as they tend to misslign or break . The selector plate isnt the best either as works with the cogs for fires selectord and wares quick . Gear box is ok till it breaks like any other AEG. CNC hop helps alot as one it comes with is pants . I have Airsoft pro and working well with flat hop etc . If u want cheap mags then u can use SR25 mags from taiwengun. The p mags work a treat too . Just need filing a little on mag catch opening to fit . And they are cheap for £7 each. Anything else just give me a message1 point

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Tackle reacted to Stratton Oakmont for a topic
I really wanted one of these but when jd Airsoft were selling them they appeared to be £125 cheaper than BB guns 4 less now have it up at. Regardless I feel £300 would be a closer price for this but someone may buy it.1 point -

This caught my attention, mainly because I like the fal/SLR family, then I saw the price, wtf, I'm thinking he's optimistic to the tune of £100-£150 ?, Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong ? https://forums.zeroin.co.uk/forum/classifieds/rifles-smg-s-for-sale/electric-rifles-smg-s/3147837-classic-army-dsa-sa58-osw1 point -

Or at the very least, restrictions on his ability to access classifieds until everyone with an issue is happy ? I gave him negative feedback 2 years ago, for timewasting & then ghosting me, even though he was reading PM's. Manners cost nothing, but thankfully my issue didn't cost me, unlike other members who've been left out of pocket, at least until PayPal resolves it. Not the actions of a trustworthy seller imho 🤔1 point

If the picture is accurate then the extended mag you linked to is NOT compatible with the KSC Auto9 The fee lips design is completely different1 point
-
There are several different versions of the KSC/KWA M93R the mags are not cross compatible. I think the Auto 9 is based on an older version just can't tell you which one. That video is not an auto 9 it's an M93R with an auto 9 compensator fitted. It does have a 3 round burst so maybe the same base gun.1 point

Never seen an extended mag and not sure of the cross compatibility. I think it has a standard m9 grip profile but there can be slight differences in the exact shape between makes (I know kwc are different for example). Most are made to fit TM profile. Hard to say with any certainty. Depends what you can find to start then whether it fits/fits with fettling or will just never fit.1 point

I have only done 2 MILSIMs (thank COVID19!) so far and both were with BRITAC at Copehill Down. The game ran 11am to 11pm then restarted at 0800 on Sunday, so not a major hardcore "out on the ground for 36hrs" but testing enough for your average airsofter and a good intro. I have played both TaskForce and OpFor, both times having a great experience, no one was an ass and even though my ATACS-FG chest rig wasn't "SF legit" or my AK had fancy rails on it no one cared or commented. Read and understand the rules, prep your kit and come prepared to play hard and immerse yourself in it. Playing OpFor is fun and you get some great taskings messing with TF guys (foam bricks being thrown by 'civilians' anyone?!) and while it was more flexible there were still things to do like capture TF guys, meet informants and defend positions. The only expectation was to give it a go and not be "that guy". TBH I have seen enough "serious" guys losing their 💩 at walk on days for stupid reasons, at the MILSIMs the closest anyone came was the group of guys next to me pushing off before 5pm on the first day even though they had been bragging about using their NODs that night 🤣 I would look at upcoming events, research past ones (Youtube vids, blog write ups, but beware of agendas / grievances / bunched panties) and give one a go! Some good info here: https://atrg.blog/2018/04/07/battle-prep-how-to-be-milsim-ready/ and https://atrg.blog/2019/08/01/how-to-not-suffer-or-die-at-a-weekender-or-milsim/1 point

do People Take Milsims Too Seriously ?
clumpyedge reacted to Tackle for a topic
Yeah, when it gets a wee bit hardcore it's surprising how many people get texts etc due to "emergencies" 🤣 at home that they need to rush off & attend to lol. Having done the crap for real, I've never dropped out, even though now age & fitness has made me struggle, I'm too pig headed/stubborn to quit 🐷.1 point -
Soon to be a member of the fine MWS club! Was fortunate to try one for the first time last summer at South Coast CQB and it left a lasting impression... Sold my TM MP7 GBB to help fund the purchase, and now awaiting the arrival of an MWS CQBR (will stick some photos up when it arrives) I have a very long shopping list but I know what I want to do with it! Its staying all black, and will be the complete opposite of my battle worn TM MK18 NGRS. Awaiting HAO Industries to get stock on their 9.3" MK16 m-lok rails and then go from there. I really struggled finding any UK stock for MWS mags, and no suppliers I contacted had anything imminently arriving. So I've taken a risk and ordered 5 mags from Rainbow8, who I have used before but what with all the craziness going on who knows when they will arrive! Right I'll shut up now, and continue reading this thread which is a gold mine of information! 👍 Picture of the MK18 (that will undoubtedly take a back seat as a back up now)1 point

Brand New Item From Large Retailer Arrived With Mould on it
Seth_Erebor reacted to Enid_Puceflange for a topic
Mould spores can be really quite damaging to the respiratory system , especially to an asthmatic, mostly if indoors . I have seen vehicles with bad Inside mould being condemned I would send back for a replacement / exchange item Lets face it, could be at least a good month until you get to use it in anger anyway.1 point -
