Welcome! I put all my AEGs away a while ago because of a similar experience. Picked up a TM AKM, squeezed off a mag on the range and immediately was like "I'm never using AEGs again" 🤣

I’ve made a huge mistake and entered the GBBR world. After one mag I think I’m going to sell my AEGs 😂

I've bought from them a few times and they've been so good to deal with. I sent an e-mail about ticking the wrong box on the order and they said it was fine, no mention about pricing or anything. Very happy now. It's been swapped to front wired and put a folding stock on it. Tomorrow i'll fit the new barrel and hop rubber. 7 new guns have arrived this week, so Sunday's game is gonna have many choices!

The NGRSs are actually really good. I have a mix of NGRSs and GBBRs, best of both worlds, temperature's not a concern, etc. Also, you can never have too many. 🤷🏻‍♂️

agree, only appeal would be getting a tan version without all the hassle of paint etc. Feel free to add to this topic. I might have missed something I really need (unlike the HPA engine as only divers should be wearing tanks )

I'm familiar with the RS version, anyone know anything about the G&G version? Any known faults etc? SRC makes a good quality one and it isn't expensive. They are available in black or tan. I've seen them as low as £40 and as high as £80 (overpriced) over the last couple of years. Unfortunately they appear to be sold out in most places. I agree that it is almost certainly a DE; it is quite different from the Ares.

You are always liable for import fees once an item is over the price threshold. it's purely luck if your package will get through Customs without charge. always assume you'll be on the hock for 20% plus handling fees.

Thanks for reminding me! I actually use the Trifibre TR5015 case for lugging my consumables after it was the travel case for my camera a few years back. It would do quite well for an SMG though you may have to position it diagonally to fit. I'd prefer not to depress you with how much less I paid for it in 2016. 🤣

1st GBBR, no idea what im doing with it, it makes a LOT of noise, bits move about and it shakes violently in my hands. But - OMG! is it satisfying to shoot! I shall now go and sit in the naughty corner as i'm running it Hpa - cant be doing with 30rnd mags
