  1. Finally got my,ahem, helmet sorted out 🙂 The go pro was at a funny angle, pointing more at the floor than forward due to the hinge of the case hitting the mounting plate.I didn't want to get an extension arm which would have sorted the problem but at the cost of raising camera up 76mm so with the Dremel I was able to remove enough plastic from the mounting plate to allow it to swing upright.👍 The helmet has never really sat nicely on me nogging so I set about experimenting with different sizes of velcro/foam inserts which helped but then I looked at the rotary knob for the headband which I thought was at maximum travel but lo and behold it went another turn and fuck me sideways the helmet fits perfect, almost like it's stitched to me bonce. So all in all a good days mucking about🙂🙂 Regards

  5. A young woman enters an overcrowded city bus. She stands next to a middle-aged man who is sitting and asks him : “Sir, would you mind giving your seat to a pregnant woman?” The man obliges despite the fact that she shows no obvious sign of pregnancy. After she is seated the man asks “Pardon me young lady but how far along are you?” She replies “About 30 minutes and I'm still quite wobbly on my feet".

  6. Oh. Oh dear. For years i've had a thing for the Welrod. You know, the sneaky bastard WW2 assassins' gun. The boy got a creality for Christmas and has been getting to grips with it and i've just discovered that a cheap n nasty springer can be fitted into a 3d printed shell for a springy welrod....has to be my next project. On top of the other 30,000 jobs i have to do.

You don't need to look all the way in, just where it is going to land. I do a quick half peek from the doorway, find a clear bit of floor in the room and underarm it to that spot. the only way to get them to go off consistently on grass is either a straight dart throw down to the ground... Or a backward spin: so hold it horizontal by the top end and then flick the top down as you release it so it spins back on itself (like a bottle flip). Practice on grass at home. Oh and make sure it's off safe or you'll have a nice dent in the primer holder As soon as it goes off push the room, or you'll get stuck outside worrying about your lovely grenade! Get it back asap, some dude stole one of mine at UCAP glos prison, he was caught on cctv kicking it away and taking it, it got recovered from the thieving #### luckily.

Lovely condition rare Tanaka k98 g33, shorter mountain troop version, real wood with lovely grain, full metal and trades. I've owned this over ten years now from new, never skirmished, when I bought it I also managed to source the bgs (best gun) hop unit and also have three new hop rubbers (new in box) considered the best upgrade for these, again all unavailable now. Shoots really well, cocking action smooth and solid, knocking cans over today with 4g bb's at around 440fps This description from the net describes it well If you want to have the most authentic and highest performing Airsoft Mauser produced, look no further than the Tanaka Works K98 series! The real G33/40 was produced in limited numbers by Nazi Germany as a shorter and handier version of the Kar98K for the specialist Gerbirgsjäger mountain troopers. The Gas Powered Tanaka G33/40 is a faithful replica of the RS. It has many trademarks around the receiver (DOT code stamps- indicating Waffenfabrik Brunn production) and waffenamts on several other components of the rifle. This Tanaka G33/40 is the rarest version of the Tanaka Mauser series. On top of that, the gas version of the G33/40 is even rarer, as the latest production ones are only springers. Comes with one gas tight mag, original hop in bgs box, three best gun hop rubbers and a repro sling Looking £450 collected or post via parcel force 48 at £12, tho that's only insured up to £150 at buyers responsibility

  13. Are you attempting to sell stuff as an intermediary ?, or wanting advice on kit. Where are you located, if your in the USA it's unlikely anyone will trade with you, too many risks, & are you aware this is an airsoft only site, while some members use some real steel attachments, uses are limited due to importation laws. Please give a better explanation as your post comes across like poorly written spam, in which case your time here will be brief 😏

  14. Today was a return to Airsoft Plantation in Essex, one of my regular sites. I had not been since they improved the already very good safe zone; there is now a third large covered area, with table space for a lot more players. Fewer players were present than usual, possibly because of the rather poor weather forecast which turned out to inaccurate. During the safety brief, the site owner stated that the day would be more like naval warfare. AP can be a trifle damp underfoot; today, some parts of it were completely flooded, with the plane at the DEA base looking like it had just crashed into a lake. In order to give the open areas a chance to dry out a bit, we started off in the wood, with a two stage fallback game. As the defenders, we had two lives, one at the ridge line and one between the kill house and the wobbly bridge stream. The attackers, who had infinite regens on a marshal, had to get a bomb runner with a smoke grenade to, firstly, the Land Rover and, secondly, the wobbly bridge. The teams seemed somewhat imbalanced, with our team having a number of less experienced players. However, we fought hard at the ridge line, slowing down the enemy attack as they entered the woods and tried to push forward; communication was excellent, with our players calling out enemy movements. After being hit on the ridge line, I fell back to take up a position on our extreme right by the wobbly bridge stream, along with a few other players. The enemy pushed hard on our left flank, but we stayed where we were, anticipating a thrust in our area. They became bogged down in vicinity of the Land Rover/kill house, which delayed them badly. Seeking a new route, a group of them moved towards our position on our right, resulting in a sprawling fight, during which we were inevitably overcome, each having only one life left. Eventually, an enemy thrust from the left of the field got their bomb runner to the bridge and the game ended. After a pleasingly short break to mag up, the game was reversed; we soon discovered why the enemy's attack had bogged down despite having infinite regens. Movement through the muddy woods was difficult and the defenders were able to use the plentiful cover to slow down the advance. However, after trying several different routes and approaches, we broke through their centre and, despite being held up by a few players positioned around the Land Rover and the kill house, eventually got the first bomb to the Land Rover. We pushed on quickly, partly because a lot of enemy players seemed to have used up both of their lives, and a final push saw our bomb runner set off the second bomb on the wobbly bridge. Over two long, hard fought games, our time was approximately one minute quicker than that of our opponents. We then moved into the village for another game where we were the defenders. Ten players were issued with yellow armbands; initially, they were to fight alongside us but, once hit, they had to remain where they were until captured by the enemy. They were then taken to the enemy's regen, where they became enemy players. In addition, one of them knew the location of a bell in one of the buildings; the attackers had to set this off to win. We had two lives in the village and its environs, while the attackers had infinite regens on the firebreak. This was a hard fought game with lots of small firefights as the attackers tried to break into the village suburbs. Initially, I was in some bushes watching a track the enemy were likely to use; noticing enemy players moving to my right, I engaged them. Turning back to the track, I was surprised to find an enemy player shooting at me at fairly close range as I had not felt any hits; I shot back, hitting him, whereupon he became very salty about me allegedly not taking my hits. Immediately after, I was hit from behind. Pulling back into the village, I took up position with a few others in one of the buildings; we fought off attacks from several directions before I was hit and went back to the safe zone. After lunch, that game was turned around; we decided to attack from several directions. I was with the group that went for the far left of the village; it was a hard fight through the scrubland, being repeatedly hit as we slowly wore down the enemy and pushed towards the village itself. At one point, we were pinned down on the edge of the village by players in a two storey structure, but eventually managed to dislodge them, breaking into the village alongside our colleagues to our right and setting off the bell. Again, the times were close, but we were quicker by a few minutes. After this game, I decided to leave as I had things that needed doing. It was a good day's play with well designed and well marshalled games and great play from both sides. Having played for three consecutive weekends, I am not playing for the next two; we have rehearsals next weekend and, the following weekend, are headlining the Sunday night of a small festival in Cardigan, which seems to be beyond where proper roads end. 15. Another great day at RIFT Airsoft's "the Battery" CQB site not far from Stansted Airport. Echoing much of what @Jacob Wright said on the previous page, the session had the expectedly good organisation from the staff. Since the first weekend, they were true to their word about listening to feedback about what worked and didn't work as the site had been updated to balance the games as the initial layout of defences, walkways and barricades did create an imbalance. Now it's much more balanced. It started with a full house of 70 players, split evenly into 2 teams - later in the day, a few players left ahead of the scheduled end of game play but the teams were rebalanced. As he mentioned, pre-emptive and suppressive firing aren't allowed so players wouldn't be discouraged from pushing forward. Doors were opened up by marshals during the day to mix things up and present more avenues of attack and defence. Similarly, lighting can be turned off in alternating or all rooms to change the style of play further so having a gun/body-mounted torch is recommended. The timing and variety with the missions was good as there was enough to be engaged without anything feeling repetitive. The host was clear in pointing out not to argue with opposing players if they didn't call their hits, just report it to a marshal and they'll judge accordingly. It made for a lot less bickering and actually some fairer play as I recall one marshal disagreeing with a shooter's claim he hit the opponent but the marshal had a clear view of this not being the case - the same marshal instructed another player later in the day to call a hit, giving him the benefit of the doubt that he may not have felt it on his plate carrier but the marshal saw the hit on him. There was a raffle with 2 prizes available. 1st prize was a Lancer Tactical (LT-35 if memory serves but it was definitely an ARP9 style AEG) and 2nd was a Raven EU18 GBB pistol. It's a shame that it will be gone in about a year's time but I'm glad I had the chance to play a few times there. I heard a few players had travelled at least 3 hours to play and the Battery lived up (or surpassed) their expectations.

Spent some time testing the mag catch today as I wont get to play untill next month. 2 full BB loads (about 120 per mag) through it with the box mag and no sign of the gas block popping out , where as before you'd get half a dzen shots before it jumped out. Seems to be sorted by the new mag catch.

When I actually remember to use multi shot quake, I tend to just hold it upside down and drop it around a corner at waist height. So it essentially lands on the plunger (hopefully goes off) directly below when I let go of it. I got hit in the face with a quake once. I came out of a doorway and looked up to see a quake falling down towards my face. Fortunately my dye mask absorbed the majority of the impact. Choice words were used when the idiot came looking for his grenade!

Someone offered me a TM PSG1 scope for my VFC and whilst it’d look the part I do like to shoot the things too and I don’t think the TM one would last 5 minutes on there , optically it’s shite as well 😂 for not much more money I picked up a Schimdt & Bender 6x42 (£125 vs £175) so not exactly clone correct but you can’t win them all 🤪 , dressed with the classic yellow front cover and a rubber eye cup if you squint it looks the part . if I can find some Stanag ring mounts and lose the Picatinny for a fair price I’ll be a happy boy

As they say in the briefing at my local site, if you've brought an impact grenade to a woodland site then you have the wrong tool for the job. Personally I've always stuck with paper pyro anyway because it's more likely to go off and I can yeet the fuck out of it.

    'Mk18' style AEG Build

That looks like a nice job, it's all sensible stuff, and I'm seeing something like £300 in total parts on top of the base, right? The thing is, they're replacing the standard parts that probably slung BBs about 80%-90% as well. Comparing against new, the cheapest Specna EDGE 2.0 with a decent MOSFET are now £260 and up... but the unbranded Double Eagles with FCS are £190. If I were selling it, I'd ask north of £250. If I were buying it, I'd offer south of £200. Other price points and compromises are available.

  34. Today, I went to Splatoon in Essex, a site I have been to a few times before and always had an enjoyable day. About 90-100 players were present, a mixture of old (I chatted with a 72 year old chap who was playing for the first time and was there with this grandson) and young, experienced and newcomers to the hobby. The first game was a fallback; we were defending and the attackers had to clear each of four areas in turn, not being able to attack the next section until they had cleared the current one. There was a 30 second time penalty for every enemy player still alive after the attacking team called the area clear. Defenders had one life in each area, while the attackers had infinite lives, respawning on a marshal who was just behind their rearmost player. We put up a great fight in each area, with the attackers finally taking the last area, by someone reaching the grey helicopter, with about 90 seconds of the game remaining. After a short break to refill mags, the game was reversed; we stormed through the enemy, setting a new site record for completing the objective, even allowing for a 30 second time penalty when we overlooked a still living defender. Following this, we played a game across the whole site, which involved controlling the three spinners that are situated across it; control of a spinner was shown by turning it so that your side's colour was facing upward. Both sides had infinite regens on their start points. This was a really fun game, with small groups of players roving over the site, popping up in unexpected places and many small and large firefights breaking out and then fading out. I was mostly in the lower section of the field, where the yellow team claimed the spinner in the last seconds with a brilliant run from a lone player. At the end they also controlled the spinner in the container field, while we held the central one. After another short break to refill mags, we played a search and recovery game. 15 small missiles were spread across the entire site; the teams had to recover as many as they could and store them in their helicopter (there are two helicopters on site, one at each end of the container field). A player could only carry one missile at a time and the regen rules were as in the previous game. This was enjoyable mayhem, with small groups roving the site looking for missiles, trying to get them back to their helicopter, trying to ambush enemy players transporting missiles, and attempting to raid the other team's helicopter. When the game ended, we had 9 missiles and the enemy had 6. It was a good, fun day of airsoft with some great play from both sides and interesting games. Weapons used: Hurricane/G&P SR47 DBoys AKMS ASG XP18 Commander CO2 (a massive upgrade on the Cybergun M1911)

  35. Great day at RIFT 'The Battery' today. Less than an hour from home and being CQB we thought we'd give it a go as it's something a bit different to a normal outdoor skirmish (and less muddy). Well organised by RIFT as usual, with hot/cold drinks, snacks and hotdogs for lunch. Also a well stocked shop from White Sphere. They cap the number at 70, which I'd say is the most you can get on the site. Rules such as no pre-firing or suppressive fire, and no pyro worked really well with very few bottlenecks, and the short 30 minutes games were long enough to get involved with but not so long that you get bored. Will definitely be back, ran the MP5, L119A1 and at one point just the Glock - great fun.

  36. Pic dump of my latest child. TM MWS in a Fortis receiver with B.A.D & Strike Industries furniture, other than the F1 grip. Last pic was with a Vortex Venom in a Strike Industries REX, but would benefit from a riser. The trigger box pin & anti rotation links weren't installed in that photo. Went a little over budget with this one, a couple of times, but it worked out!

  38. As someone who’s owned a few different manufacturers GBB M4’s at one time or another over the years, for me Tokyo Marui is the one to go for. I’m very similar to you in that mine are collection pieces, with a few rounds put through them every now and again. Therefore, looks and feel are more important than performance and Tokyo Marui cannot be beaten. The Cerakote finish is spot on and it just feels right. Both weight and quality are top notch. Also, the performance is better than most. There’s also plenty of upgrades available. Personally I’d leave the internals alone, other than an Angry Gun heavy buffer and HAO steel bolt end to increase the felt recoil if you want more recoil. If it’s only going to be lightly used, the extra pressure from the heavy buffer and bolt end shouldn’t cause to much of a problem. I’ve had no problems with any of mine so far, (touch wood). There’s loads of external options as well. Rail upgrades and the like. As far as other manufacturers go: WE - Decent enough products, cheaper than TM, but if you want trademarks you’ll either have to buy from Asia and hope there’s no issues with customs, or buy a trademarked lower receiver and switch the blank lower out. VFC - Difficult to get hold of a VFC M4A1 these days although MK18’s, XM177’s and the 733 are available. But, it just doesn’t feel as nice as the TM. I love VFC stuff and their internal build quality is much better than it was, but I prefer a TM. GHK - If it’s a standard M4A1 you’re after, you’ll end up with one with Navy SEAL markings on the receiver instead of Colt trademarks. They now do the URG-I version and the MK18 which both have Colt trades, but, by all accounts, GHK’s quality control isn’t as good as it was. Golden Eagle - I’ve not had any experience with. I think they may have plastic receivers. I may be wrong, but I think that’s the case. Also, I don’t think they have trademarks. Double Eagle - I’ve got the Noveske N4 and it is nice. Comes with TM style internals. But, I don’t think they do an M4A1 and I’ve not had a good enough look over it to judge the quality of the internals. The externals look great though. For me, personally, if I’m planning a build, I’ll go for a TM if I know the parts I need are available. If you’re after a GBB that feels great out of the box, that you can just unbox and manipulate and be happy with, but also upgrade if you want, I think you can’t go wrong with the TM. (And no, I don’t work for TM. 😉)

  39. I happen to know some American manufacturers for quality sights, accessories, barrels, lots of stuff but small, in-house manufacturing trying to complete with the likes of holosun trijicon Magpul but I don't know how much air softer are willing to spend...but these are actual work accessories. I wanna know how they operate on the field, QCB, or long distance (as far as is possible)... May I suggest: cyelee calf or wolf series rmr or micro red dot. Features shake awake technology and auto off after 5 min rest. Range from 80 bucks to 250. durable as trijicon rmr. Or any of the at3tactical.com Reddot scopes and sights for Under 300 and for 120 you can get a durable 12 brightness with hogue armor and riser in full or co witness and auto on for under 180...lasers sights and scopes on here too. DaggerDefense is a vet owned optics manufacturer with multiple reticle option on there optics for decent quality and clarity. Many have said the SIG Romero3 on wish is the exact same as the real thing @66usd...but buy at your own risk...other good American manufacturing ideas may be to call Francis Tuttle votech school in OKC,OK and offer a bulk rate proposal for distribution. They do CNC machining, cad, welding and any metal work you could pay for...let me know if any of these sound good or work...also I have an AT3 reddot if anybody is willing to try it on a setup. I'm not really worried about it I wanna upgrade. Just need notes.
