  1. Has anybody paid this guy?, if so you need to immediately reverse your payment via whatever options available to you, PayPal dispute etc, as he's a scammer & has been kicked off the forum. Well done @Sniper780 for spotting it & letting everyone know it was moody 👍. Stuff like this is what makes this forum stand out compared to other forums & pages, the members always vigilant & community minded, & a mod team that doesn't panic about gdpr when concerns are raised. Massive 👍

  2. This AD pictures are directly taken from another sales post from 28-08-2022 located in Bruges, Belgium from airsoftbazzaar. https://www.airsoftbazaar.com/nl/marktplaats/replicas/aeg/fully-upgraded-gg-cm18-mod1-dst-met-tit-xrdsfp These pictures are also from another AD from the USA similar user name but rif located in Michigan City, Indiana according to the AD https://www.airsoftsociety.com/threads/scar-l-from-tokyo-marui-electric.167975/ The seller has in fact posted all of the RIF they are selling here on the US airsoft society forum This is their public account for that forum https://www.airsoftsociety.com/search/22252/ so they appear to be live in Portrush in the United Kingdom and also living in Michigan City, Indiana. If anyone has an active account for the Airsoft society forum if you could give them a heads up as well that would be greatly appreciated.

  3. The use of someone else's pictures when it come selling an item, especially at that asking price is a major Faux pas on the sellers part. A simple google reverse image search shows the pictures were taken directly from a 2014 blog post from this web site https://timmmk2.militaryblog.jp/e582128.html Has the hallmarks of a potential scammer.

  7. I called out the G&G CM18 on the FPS. I found no matches on Google or Tineye reverse image search but I'm still suspicious. The marketing blurb looks manually typed out and badly done. Unless G&G made a horrible typo of its own, I would assume the gearbox has 8mm bearings, not 8mm ball bearings. There are a lot of decent upgrades in that pic yet he hasn't specified them to try and make the listing look more attractive. For the price, it looks far too good to be true to me.

  8. I'd suggest one of these: Fencing Plus Ear Mask - Just BB Guns The most protection you can get without the heat. Might be worth wearing shooting glasses underneath if you're concerned about shattering BBs but I think its flexible enough that that's unlikely.

    First Aid Kits

Something worth for any first aid kit - aspirin. If you suspect someone might be having heart attack/chest pain popping an aspirin will buy some time. My first aid kit has; BP cuff, stethoscope, pulse oximeter, burn gel, ice pack, saline, gauze, bandage, tourniquet, gloves, notepad pen, trauma scissors and regular scissors and a two finger mobile EKG. And an assortment of paracetamol, ibroprofin, aspirin, glucose tabs, plasters. And it all fits in a nice little viper pouch that unfolds which is pretty nifty.

I’m very fortunate in that the team at my local are either Blue Light or trained by them. This is also a part of why I’m comfortable carrying an IFAK on site; if I’m not in a position to use it on me I’m confident that they are and would do so sensibly should the need arise. Having seen them spring into action when the need arose (nothing serious, I think someone did a leg or an ankle) they were next to the player with the quad and a trailer within two minutes, with no panic and professionalism. One thing that I do carry on my IFAK which I missed out from my earlier list was a Green Chemlight. At the Black Site it’s very dark, so green is used exclusively by marshals to identify themselves and/or casualties (Green is safe). Whilst it’s forbidden to use green illumination if you’re not a marshal, should the worst happen it’ll make finding the casualty easier (and also stop them getting drilled in the dark) until help arrives.

Some great replies here, and honestly I didn’t expect this much! I guess the take away message is: carry the basics, but be trained in it. As I’m an Ambulance Tech I carry a trauma kit with dressing, CAT tourniquet, gloves and pulse ox on my vest, with a standard FAK on my belt. Would 100% advise people to get trained, I’ve been in too many situations at work and elsewhere where literally having the basics could have made so much more difference. Get training, be fit peeps.

  18. Mmm, the only thing I carry and would hand over is aspirin, and only for the symptoms of acute MI. From recent experience, if you call 111 and report a sudden spike in blood pressure, let alone chest or left arm pain and shortness of breath, they'll tell you chew 300mg while the ambulance is on the way. Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. The current guidelines from St John's Ambulance are straight compressions. Also, the current guidelines from St John's Ambulance are 30 compressions, 2 breaths. 🤷‍♂️

Too busy sometimes, but it's the wife I feel sorry for, especially during school holidays! We're looking to go Monday too, was hoping to have a look round the boot sale, but school uniform and supplies come first, so just the afternoon session, as he can't cope with a full day yet, but never know, may get him there in time.

That peice is from the mock gas cylinder that's at the front I do believe. Should feel a slight spring tension when you slide it in. I've had mine 6 months now, on mine I've developed an issue with it shooting fully auto on semi but the plastic tip on the charging handle has stood up fine.

  26. I have just stripped mine down and cant see anything that resembles the retangular peice you have found. And there is nothing in that diagramme that resembles that bit either The only pin from under the hand guard I can see it the one that holds the mock gas block in place. This website seems to stock every bit you need for you rifle. https://www.kyairsoft.com/parts/we-rifles-gbbr/999-series.html

Truly heartbroken to even have to list this one, but one full Guarder upgraded Marui P226 fitted with a genuine M3 tactical light, with three Nineball routered and valved Marui magazines, all wrapped in a SIG branded hardcase. Now, there is VERY little Marui left in this thing. I built this to be as realistic as it could possibly be, same materials where possible, as close to the original weight as possible etc, and it turned out spectacular. It only contains the original trigger housing and hammer housing, everything else is Guarder, bar the inner barrel (PDI 6.01), a Nineball piston head and a Maple Leaf Delta hop rubber. Full build list - Tokyo Marui P226R, Guarder Aluminium Frame, Guarder Sig P226 Grips, Guarder Steel CNC Slide With Lightweight Nozzle Housing, Guarder Steel Outer Barrel, Guarder Steel Luminous Night Sights, Guarder Steel Hammer, Guarder Steel Magazine Release, Guarder Steel Magazine Catch Plate, Guarder Steel Take-down Lever, Guarder Steel Decoking Lever, Guarder Steel Trigger (Early Type), Guarder Steel Slide Catch, Guarder Steel Dummy Fire Pin Set, Guarder Steel Recoil Spring Guide (currently fitted with 130% springs, 150% included if needed), Guarder Steel Sear, Guarder Steel Knocker, Guarder Steel Knocker Lock, Guarder Aluminium Hop Chamber, Guarder Nozzle and Valve Set, Guarder Spring Set and Clips etc, Nineball Dyna Piston Head, Nineball Magazine Valves (Adjustable) x3, Nineball Gas Routers x3, PDI Steel 6.01 Inner Barrel, Maple Leaf Delta Hop Rubber, Genuine M3 Tactical Illuminator. Built like a tank, with more steel than something really steely, weighs a ton, and cycles and fires superbly. Is in like new condition having seen very little use outside of just breaking it in, never been outside and the only mark is a small scratch from the decocker. Slide locks with no issues (Green Gas), all 3x mags are tight. All in all this has cost in excess of £800 to put together, I know, it's been a labour of love, but £500 including postage and PayPal fees will see it arrive safely on your door step. JUST TO NOTE - I have no idea of the current FPS as I don't currently own a Chrono, however the magazine valves are adjustable so should be within skirmishable range.

    First Aid Kits

I pop a bog standard hikers first aid kit pouch from generic outdoors store of your choice in a pouch because its small and Im unlikely to need anything more than a few plasters and maybe a bandage. Anything needing more kit than that can wait til the marshals bring a proper first aid kid. I keep a more advanced kit in my car (or if its an all day game or huge game site pop it in a backpack) which contains a few trauma dressings, tourniquet and IV kit with a bottle of IV paracetamol. I am a registered paramedic so know what I'm doing with them as generally sites tend to be miles away from anywhere, so its going to be a long wait for an ambulance if someone stacks it down a hill and snaps their leg or something, so I can at least get some pain relief into them whilst waiting, plus then IV access already established for the ambo crew to give anything else. However I would probably only be comfortable doing that to my mates who know I actually am trained and know what Im doing, and not just some random Ricky Rescue wannabe trying to stick needles in people. I generally try not to get involved in medical issues on a game day as I feel its not my place to, unless I can see its a particularly bad one or someone is doing something completely wrong (like the site "first aider" who was trying to put a stick in someones mouth to "stop them swallowing their tongue" having a seizure).

I’d caution against giving drugs, over-the-counter or otherwise, to somebody unless you’re trained and licensed to do so or it’s the casualty’s own supply and you’re assisting them to take it, eg. GTN, insulin, etc. If you do, have you diagnosed the issue correctly and are you giving the appropriate drug/dose or are you about to make things worse, without knowing the patient’s medical history? And you are effectively then prescribing the drug. Personally, I carry an IFAK with CAT, Celox, Russell or Fox chest seal, Israeli bandage, NPA. In the car, more of that, plus various size OPAs and I-gels, BVM, gauze bandages various sizes, pulse ox, ATMIST cards plus chinagraph pencil and an AED. I’m trained, licensed and regulated to carry and use it.The only stuff I don’t have, that I do at work, is Penthrox and O2. To paraphrase the Flannel Daddy “get some training”.

  32. Recently lost a LOT of weight, I’ve always been slight but it’s been muscle, the last month has caught me off guard with illness so kits slimmed right down! LV119 with trident weighted plates, 2x Crye SPS pouches for spare mags / misc. Want some banger pouches for the rear. Velocity systems rugby shirt is mega comfy, cut up cryes top for the fun of it. Trousers will be replaced when the weather turns shyt. No belt as currently refining that to be as slimmed down as possible.

  33. It's been a while since I had official First Aid training - it might even be as long ago as being at university (24 years) when I was a counsellor - where we had to potentially deal with anything from pissheads falling over after the bars shut through to suicide attempts and campus muggins. Thankfully it was always pissheads... Or Stoners knocking on the door looking for Rizzlas because they knew there was always two people on duty. 😁

Been posting these old photos (around 2010-12) on social media then remembered they've never been on here either, only Arnies back in the day. The quality isn't a bug on the forum or anything, the images are just intrinsically that low resolution. Couple of iterations of my 14.5" NGRS back when I had the King Arms CASV. These days it has a carbon fibre handguard so it's just a tad lighter than the EGLM setup.

  38. eh, i don't really see an issue with people wearing ghillies. end of the day if you don't know what you're at then draping yourself in mock hedgerow is going to offer the square total of bugger all assistance to your ability be concealed in the same way that owning a gucci set of screwdrivers doesn't make you a top tier airsoft tech. likewise someone who's gifted in the art of the sneak can become invisible almost entirely regardless of their choice of attire. this to me is separate from the other issue with ghillie wearers, to wit, the insistence of ankle armbands or other such lacking of identifiers. if the rest of us mere mortals are gonna have to wear a bright red armband to distinguish friend from foe then there should be no exceptions.

  39. CQB gun. Cyma m14, but with a TM m14 stock. Not 100% on the optic mount at the moment because I know the Laylax mount doesn't work well with the Cyma receiver (had to use it; outer barrel didn't work with the TM receiver) and ends up being off by a fraction of a degree, meaning you can never zero the scope properly. Currently using the G&P scope mount as I want a low profile mount, but if that doesn't work like the Laylax mount doesn't, I know my TM scope mount will work, it's just a bit higher up. And no, I'm not joking. I will take this to CQB games

  43. First day back at NTAC in a long while. Around 20 or so players which is quite low for the site which was probably caused by A. NAF being on this weekend and B. The predicted torrential rain. First issue of the day before games even began; "chronos are available on the table". Surely you should have zip ties etc. ready at the ENTRANCE to the play area and chrono people as they come through as mandatory thing? It takes 10 minutes tops. Teams were sorted and the first game started and the old problems that bothered me with the site began to rear their head. The first game was bands attacking a small village area with unlimited lives. Defenders (non-bands) have 4 lives. Teams will be reversed after the game was over and fastest time wins. The attackers objective, we were told, was to get the flag up at the back of the village and kill defenders in the process which seems simple enough. The first game was competitive and eventually the attackers got the flag up however the marshall said that the game isn't over as the non-bands were still alive... several of the non-bands who ran out of lives were at the side discussing the rules; surely the game is over when the flag is up otherwise it's just Elimination with a twist? Regardless, we swapped sides and non-bands attacked. We managed to beat the bands attack time convincingly. Queue some """BALANCING""" with the teams. Next game was just the previous game mode in another area of the site without the flag. Non-bands got spanked on both attack and defence, not even remotely competitive. Interestingly there was no team balancing after this. Teams were only rejigged after lunch as some players on half-days left and some new players arrived. Game after that was "body parts" in a recently remodeled area of the site. Game mode consisted of attackers having to recover mannequins on a stretcher from a van and bring them back to spawn. Stretcher must be carried by two players at all times. Most mannequins wins. Sounds interesting right? Sure but now consider that the only entrances to the objective area are two doorways barely bigger than your average person so I think you can guess where this is going. Two of the players that arrived at lunch came with a bolt action sniper and a 417 styled DMR and were both put on bands. Both of these people found a position outside any real danger from our team and picked us off the second we got into the doorway. The only way through was sacrificing a player at the front but then you were hampered by a lack of cover. The left flank had an unobscured view of the team and the right side was a long lane where the sniper/DMR guy was nailing everyone. Another poorly thought out area in my opinion, there should have had another way of attacking other than through two choke points. Once the first leg of this game ended, I and another arrived to the conclusion that this was, and I quote, "wank" and left. The level of gameplay was quite high and never noticed or heard of any non-hit taking or moaning about other players with the exception of one guy who was "keyholing" in one game. NTAC is an amazing site with huge potential ruined by lazy marshalls, shit team balancing and poorly thought out game modes that are too similar. My main gripe is team balancing as the marshalls appear to balance the teams on numbers not player experience & loadout capabilities unlike other sites i've been to. In addition, the marshall who was directing us for the day got the game started and just sat at the spawn closest to the parking area so he didn't have to walk as far. He never walked through the game area once. The Mk18 performed well for the first half of the day, at one point I sniped the actual sniper, it was lifting BBs out to an absurd range. Occasionally it would double feed in semi auto but a quick burst in full auto would fix the issue in semi. I turned down the precocking a bit which appears to have fixed the issue. There's something causing issues with the gun however. Over the course of the day I began to lose accuracy and would sometimes get flyers. Not too sure what the issue is but I might try changing to a different barrel to see if the 6.02mm is a touch too tight and is causing issues.
