Book one The Horlicks of Bathtime Fountain To play you will need: 2 x 6 sided dice 1 x pencil 1 x paper note pad and Your imagination. Turn to page 1 Page 1 Your character. Choose one. The Milsimer You know the NSN number of all your kit. You have friends, they exist inside you head but at least they talk to you. Most likely to say “But that’s not tactically sound”. Your pew pew goes Bang. The Speedster You can outrun a speeding bb. Or a least you think you can. You had a friend once but they couldn’t keep up. Most likely to say “Yeet” or “I need more RPS”. Your pew pew goes Zzippppppp! The Sneaky Bastard You are so stealthy that you didn’t even sign in to the site. You don’t need friends just targets. Most likely to say, nothing silence speaks volumes. Your pew pew goes “ppssst” The DIY tech You fixed your friends RIF to make it better. May have been best to ask first however. Most likely to say “It was okay when I had it” Your pew pew goes “bap whizz clunk” Make a note of which character you are and then roll 2 x 6 sided dice. Then ignore this number and go to page 2.2 points -

Gangsta City: Black Widows at the sadly now closed Camp Sparta was hands down the best airsoft weekender I have been to. They can run a solid event at the right site but I have not heard good things about their prison events.2 points

Meh. To me this just looks like Mr Richtea is trying to use something that's common in film making to get cheap publicity for his latest film. As Skullchewer posted it's not uncommon, so much so that airsoft is mentioned alot on IMFDB https://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Special:Search&profile=default&search=Airsoft &fulltext=12 points -

I have 1000's of hours of prints now. It ain't rocket science. Certainly not artistry. Modelling the thing could be argued as the most difficult and time consuming part of the process. He was selling that pretty much that exact print as a kit previously. I hope he is the original designer of the files on thingiverse, or at least have permission to sell these commercially. I was being facetious...😉 The real artistry comes Games Workshop/Citadel/whatever the call themselves these days. They created the worlds, the concepts, the stories, the original artwork and the sculpts in first place.2 points -

Running the London Marathon
Skullchewer reacted to ghostwalker for a topic
I hope this is ok. This year both myself and my partner are running the 2023 London Marathon for charity. Neither of us are in the greatest shape so its going to be a bot of an undertaking as you can imagine. And yes i have heard all the gags about 'it would be easier to drive it' 'London has an underground system you know' etc. We are both running in aid of ABF the soldiers charity as i am em British Army and we both have a family and friends who have served and in some cases given their all for us. So aside from the kudos you can guess why i am posting here. Fundraising. Charity places come with a pretty heft target and i was hoping (if its ok with admins, if it isnt i guess delete the post) to bump along some extra pennies for the charity. I have a few ideas that are posted on the linked page Anyways, i hope this is ok and i appredciate any shares of the fundraising page, support or donations that anyone can give. And don't let naysayers say nay. We're just playing dress up and hide-and-seek with expensive spud-guns. Sure, the organisation will almost certainly be the usual comically contradictory clusterfrag, but just go out and play the way that you want to play and you'll have a blast.1 point

I did go and record a video of me shooting the gun in semi and full auto, but feck me the bloody phone decided I wanted 'timelapse' mode of all things, so the videos each last about 5 frames 💩 I really can't be arsed putting the battery back in, shepherding the cat into another room, pissing off the wife as I let the cold air in again ... blah blah blah Maybe I'll do it again tomorrow.1 point -

T8 window mag has arrived, waiting on some steel take down pins, steel dust cover, and the BJ TAC 1.5 heat treated Japanese buffer spring to arrive. I think the heat gun needs to come out on the MK18 again after 3 years and what must be 50-60,000 rounds if not way more the modify tan hop rubber has a few small rips and tears with bits of rubber finally starting to affect the flight path of bb’s. SixG brass nub has been incredible and I’ve managed to have sniper battles with actual snipers when using .45g shooting across the huge valley at Stormforce. I’ve chosen not to use them long term as they travel way too slow and can be dodged matrix style, plus I like to be a bit more active. .36g seems about right for me. Platform overall is phenomenal, I honestly expected more problems than I’ve had, but my only issue I’ve ever had was a BB shattering and making it’s way into the trigger unit and jamming my fire selector, easily solved by a good clean out. She’s been well maintained internally, but I am rough with her, she gets chucked about a bit, and that’s what I want from my mws, I want a tank, that’s the way I want to build it. I’ve not even had to replace a nozzle return spring, and all those common wear and tare problems that we all warn new users of haven’t yet really surfaced on mine, I’ve even used the dreaded angry gun internals without issue, which is testament to this great weapon, I just runs and keeps running no matter what parts I use in it, or how I treat it on the field.1 point

This is about as real as it gets before the day. Just watching the weather forecast like its an international sport. Seen everything from 20 degrees and dry through to 10 degrees and heavy rain. It have a laugh. If you think airsoft od expensive. We went through £200 at the marathon expo last night on not very much.1 point -
If you were selling this as a functional prop for cosplayers (in the correct place) you might get your asking price tbh, I think you're selling it in the wrong place here. The Warhammer crowd have a lot of cash to throw on their 'plastic crack', even more than airsoft folks from what i've seen 😁 Personally, It looks good but it's too clean, it could use some weathering to match.1 point

With the amount of work put in yes lol Some cosplay people will pay £100 upwards for a non functional bit of shaped plastic1 point

Awww thanks, but it is what it is, I've had a very good run of being paid a lot because I'm on short term contracts. My luck is maybe running out, and it's just bad timing personally (lots of reasons I won't bore everyone with). If I have to sell some stuff to get through it, so be it. It's only stuff. I can probably buy it again in the future!1 point -

Yup. HPA does get unfairly maligned as the issue, when it's the user that's at fault. I have one hpa gun I run (which is lovely but it's convinced me I'm not into hpa, I just don't like the line and tank at all), and I can see that it would be theoretically easy to tamper even when tagged.1 point -

Cheeky wee purchase of an IdoGear shooters belt from Ali Exp Quick delivery from just outside HK, took only 8 days, way faster than their estimated delivery date. Seems solid enough, holds my secondary and a mag & dump pouch quite solidly Nice feeling to be able to order a Medium for the first time in about 8 yrs!! Tired of being a porker, lost 3” off my waist so far this year, and I’m motivated to get back to a 32 ish waist 🤞 It’ll get tried out next weekend, can’t wait! Getting my loadout perfected for NAF , so as I can sit about and talk shit with my boys and not bother to play (it’s a festival after all innit!!) 😂1 point -
