I think it would be interesting to have a skirmish day exclusive to gbbr/gbb (and perhaps spring), has anyone one attended or encountered anything like this? With everyone having heavy, low capacity magazines and limited fire power, I think it would make for some fun gameplay! Would this sort of event appeal to anyone else or just me ?!?

It comes with 3 spare mags which new would cost £130 total, plus one wouldn't be a paperweight. Still a complete piss take but not as much as you thought

Fuck no - unless I'm missing something, this is an ASG MK23, which is £55 new. There's no mention of any upgrades. An extra mag is £25. So for £80 plus post, you can have it new. Which means that the tape is costing you £60 over new, not a tenner. Which is basically another MK23. No, no and thrice no! The fucked mag is worth zero.

Very inconsistent. Some double feeds. Some bb's just going a few metres. Much more pronounced with full mags. Stripped the gear box and found no compression. Going for new cylinder and piston heads. I'm mainly wondering if the stock nozzle is suitable for the Prowin/Maple Leaf combo as the stock Cyma nozzle is shorter than most. Also getting a new piston with a metal rack to have a go at short stroking while I've got it in pieces.

As C-Diddy has said really, more about them being a chest rig with plenty of load carrying ability than a particular loadout. I love my Arktis chest rigs but you are limited in terms of carrying comms and being able to add extra pouches. The PK has the flexibility to add a couple more pouches to the sides of the magazine ones without overloading the rig, and still leaves you room in your utility pouches for water etc. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but I’ve wanted one since I got hands on with a friends, and they review pretty well for an option other than a plate carrier.

I remember tech brigade ran pistol and pump games about lunch time years ago. No help now though. I would be happy to play one of those games. I would also allow an AEG m249 with a 100-200rnd mid cap in the side as the realistic support role.

Back in the day used to play a site that ran Pump & Pistol games before lunch on a skirmish day. There was an area of dense ferns that was ideal for close in games.

I know a few sites used to do gbb and spring days/games. And FAO did a pistols only night not so long ago, not sure which site they used for that one though. A lot of milsim have limited ammo or low cap mag requirements but you have to look for individual events and their requirements. Personally the biggest mag I run in an aeg is 100rnd midcap. It nice to have the reload and limited supplies.

Some sites do gas & spring only or pistol & shotgun only (probably not AA12 though ha) days but I don't think there are any that do it routinely.

Old school milsim used to be close , only real cap mags or a total BB limit of say 300 rifle / 100 pistol etc and you can only carry what is loaded into magazines , no loose ammo and no reloading mid game . It was fun

Either way, the going rate for those is £40-45 each. I payed £300 for 5 once...but it also came with a free TM CQBR.

Finally got my first proper gun ( other than glock converted with roni kit ^^ ) HK33 by LCT EBB Steel throughout, heavy, chunky, you literally do not need any ammo to kill with it xD, however right out of the box was rather disappointing so I got some parts and sat down on it this weekend. Changed parts: Hopup chamber maxx models Piston head double oring maxx models Cylinder head double oring maxx models Nozzle double oring maxx models 6.02 590mm barrel maple leaf Rubber Super macaroon 60* maple leaf M120 non-linear spring prometheus I am running it with gate aster v2 SE and 11.1 LiPo 3 cell. It works way better than before, all fits well but I am still not happy with fps, as I am using it as DMR I want as close to 450 with .02 as possible. Currently 350 with .28 :(((( I am waiting for stainless steel cylinder from maxx and warhead brushless motor and will experiment with PDI spring 260%. Any ideas how to increase range and accuracy are very, very welcomed

Good luck with that mate - couldn't get it to fit on my Cyma CM.045. No idea what it was designed for - I sold it to @Adolf Hamster who couldn't get it to fit his guns (E&L and JG).

Of course I have to shim the retro arms gearbox inside the receiver -.- Fucking Airsoft and its "standards"
