  2. The other team made up of 5 to 8 year olds did not know what hit them. Total campers pffft Recoil was controllable. Slight kick up and left. High speed low drag mag change system was quite intuitive. No chrono. So not sure on the power. Would recommend over HPA

  5. Today was fun, 7 people on the field which meant more games and a good laugh. Decided to take the AK which wasn't the best performer, it's a bit inconsistent in semi auto for some reason (inconsistent velocity and accuracy) but spot on in full auto 😕 Speaking of full auto, 25 RPS on a 7.4v is nice but mags can't keep up, so I will have to lower it down (thinking 16:1 or 18:1 gears) and check why everything goes to shit in semi. Also lost a piece of my antenna, it was relatively cheap but still annoying to waste money like this.

Just "testing the waters" with this one, as it owes me waaayy too much (circa £750) and I do really like it. I purchased this second-hand, with it originally being black. I was keen to pick it up as the Guarder kits for these seem to have been discontinued. I sent it to Negative Airsoft and he passed it over to his Cerakote guy, to finish in this beautiful Burnt Bronze. Once it was back with Luke, I purchased a new TM Deagle to serve as a donor gun, so we could give it a new lease of life. Will also add that this has some internal upgrades, however as I didn't do the tech work and we mixed it with a stock donor gun, I'm not entirely sure on which parts are left. Either way, it works beautifully and I've got it sending 0.28's far and true. As if that wasn't enough, it also comes with tritium night sights (green in the rear, red at the front as pictured) and a total of five magazines. As such this would make both a stunning collectors piece or skirmishable beast. Some marks present from pre-cerakoting (I have tried to capture affect areas in the photos) but this has not been skirmished since the refurbishment. Shooting video available for genuine potential buyers. Stated price includes PayPal feels and tracked postage. Please ask any questions via PM, as I don't get notified of anything asked on the listing.

  7. I'd echo the above. Stock or body mounted shell holders and simple sling with dump pouch of some kind.

  8. Shotgun slings are much the same, not ideal as they tend to move/flop about making grabbing shells fiddly, especially if your on the move. Much better to have a shell panel or pouch on your person so you gain some muscle memory in use, like any other mag pouch, or consider a shotgun belt system if you don't want to mess with your vest rig. Also recommend a small dump pouch for ditching "empties", otherwise their small size & weight is piss easy to lose if shoving in pockets etc.

  9. I only played half the day today purely because I'm still recovering from a foot injury I sustained two and a half weeks ago when I was out for a run and I took a fall. Was good to get out there and play again, especially since numbers were so low because apparently most airsofters are scared of the rain; it only rained during the morning sign-in, chrono and safety brief, then half way into the first game it cleared up all day until we were heading home when Mother Nature let us know she had been gracious enough to let us enjoy our game day and now it was time to leave with a heavy thunderstorm! The m700 also continues to impress. Chronoed right on the power limit at 1.1J for no MED and it really slings those .5s out there. The jury is still out on the .5s, as not being able to see my shots is difficult as airsoft guns are not that accurate in the wider scheme of things even when you do everything to make it so, but at the same time it means my targets also have no idea the shots are coming in. Plus, .5s are cheaper than .48s, probably because people don't like the fact you can't see them. Still got most of my bag, so this will probably last me a good few months, so I'll get very used to them moving forward. If I decide I don't like them, I'll just go back to .48s. In terms of the gameplay itself, first shot I took I got a complaint against me. Not sure what was said, but one of the marshalls came around the corner after I hit a guy on it 5 seconds earlier. Walked over to near where I was and asked if there were any snipers around as he couldn't find me in my ghillie. I answered and he was like "oh, it's you. That's fine then." I think it was probably accusations of either a hot gun or shooting within MED, because .5s really do hit hard even on 1.1J. Was also on a skill-up day as I decided to go out there with the short m700 magazines instead of the long ones, so I was out in game with 40 shots in total (4x mags with 10rds in each). We then did a rolling assault where the enemy team didn't clear me out twice. First time I started harassing them outside their spawn and two of my friends on the other team hunted me down eventually, but the second time I decided to use the opportunity to practice my sneaky sniper stalking skills. I waited for them to start pushing onto the next objective and opted to just follow the enemy team down the hill towards the objective. I didn't shoot anyone, but having to pay attention not just to what's in front of me, but also behind me and all around me was a real challenge. Had to move very slowly to avoid getting spotted by respawning players behind me, but I managed to follow the attacking team all the way down to the next objective and right up to the game end. I almost took a shot at two of the younger regular players at the end, but wasn't able to line one up through the foliage that I was 100% confident would hit, so I held off in the end. I didn't hit many people during the game, but it was one of the most enjoyable games I've had in a while.

I think, sufficed to say, he doesn't have many days-away under his belt. I find Christian Craighead fans a little OTT sometimes but in fairness the bloke has (I think) 14 medals and I was pretty chuffed with myself to get my 3rd recently.

Think il just got for the 10.5 then and save myself some time and money. I was looking at HAO but I couldn't find one in stock anywhere, but I'd like one if anyone can point me in the right direction. Then keeping the stock outer barrel I wouldn't have to worry about compatibility with the rail. Would you keep the original barrel or drop in a new tight bore? I'd like to be able to use it indoors at the CQB site I play then turn it up to a DMR for woodland skirmish hence the NPAS.

I’ve used an HAO rail on both my 10.5” and 14.6”, also on my long 416, really good quality, very well made and not as expensive on my 10.5” barrel Mk16 I used the 9.3” HAO rail (sorry about crap quality pic)

  16. I'd give them the opportunity to do the initial work and then if it doesn't work, opportunity to put it right. If they can't put the effort and time in second time round when you've flagged an issue then they don't deserve your customer and deserve a public but fair account of what has happened.

  19. One chance because if they didn't test it and gave you back a fucked gun then they are useless. Too many people call themselves techs and are really nothing more than monkeys with an allen key who got all their experience from watching youtube. To be honest most people in airsoft who call themselves techs are actually just the equivalent of me folding up a bit of paper into an aeroplane shape chucking it 3ft across the living room and proclaiming I am a pilot.

  20. That's a bit like saying you put your car in for 4 new tyres, but when you got home you find only the front tyres are new, the back tyres they replaced with barely legal part-worns, but still charged full price. You wouldn't rate them on getting half the job right surely 🤔

  21. If you go back they'll have to refund a certain amount for your time and trouble but I can't believe you didn't test it there when you picked it up.
