So this is my current loadout. Not going for any particular look, just what I've learned over the years is what I'm most comfortable playing in. I have a chest rig with m4 mag pouches, a battle belt with pistol mag pouches and some more m4 pouches. A dump pouch and a safariland for my TM Glock18. Main pew is an MWS, though I've accessorised it a bit more since this photo

Krylon brown is dark indeed, I've used a fair bit, generally as a base so it's fairly covered over. Coyote is the way to go that is a fact but, yeah.. I've got various other plans in mind already and a huge array lot of options to weigh up, my mind isn't set on the AR by any means, I love them but I've got plenty of those. Currently got other projects to finish that have been ongoing for years on account of a lot of trying to make RS parts fit to RIFs that often haven't been done before and a similar story with battery storage - always requires a lot of skilled airsoft specific mill and lathe work etc and my man I trust for that has a long wait list. I don't know if you mean weather as in artificially but I never do that myself, I degrease, spray then just use (nothing against people doing the artificial route). If the gun in question ever sees enough games over many years such that the paint job starts to be missing in large areas I'll literally just spend 10-15 minutes to whack a bit more on.

Working on some ICS Galil midcap inserts. While I use drums in my Galil ARM, I do like to have a trio or so of midcaps alongside my drums in case they go down. Nothing exists for the ICS Galil besides some expensive high caps, and you all know how much I hate tactical maracas. So I figure these $7 (worth of material) inserts combined with a $6 EPM spring will work. Still waiting on an EPM insert to work on the internals, so its just a solid block for now.

My local runs semi-auto only days (with full auto LMGs) and they work pretty well. I actually prefer them to the usual full auto spamfests, as it's not a huge site. Sad to report that my day today didn't go, as the full-day raffle-prize game pre-booked out a month ago. I don't book woodland that far ahead, because... well, we've got torrential rain and 40mph gusts this morning. Aggravating because I'm pretty sure that half the bookings won't show up, and half of those who do will leave after getting soaked through, or plunging into the Dagobah swamp. Had it been a walk-on, I might have pulled the MVP DPM on PDQ for PDW play and gone anyway, but we'll never know now. Love 'em, because I can just drop the pistol and fumble with my balls or yank my pin on a whim.

I ordered a Wolverine Reaper nozzle on Thursday 23rd Dec - it was despatched next day (Christmas eve) . Package arrived this morning (29th)! No customs duty was required . Win!

It's just a question of making it worth their while. If it's a car full, maybe offer to hold your sale at the end of the day so as to not disrupt the play. I've found that "making it worth their while" can amount to nothing more than h̶a̶n̶d̶j̶o̶b̶s̶ giving owners and marshals first dibs on the best gear.

It was fun to watch him build it ? the instructions are not Lego quality..... Couple of weeks, there were a couple of moments when it dropped of the radar but one of the alt brick FB groups were really helpful. I picked up a 1911 for my younger brother, and will definitely be getting a couple of these sets... At least this hobby won't cost as much as Lego.....

GL + pistol is definitely interesting though I presume you've chosen munitions and know the rules of the site/s you want to play? If you can't use TAGs or don't want to spend a fortune shooting them then all your launcher is is a big shotgun, except way less useful than even a cheap spring/pump tri-barrel and some sites have MEDs that make standard 'shower shells' a pain to employ given their range and spread. But then again, a fun experience cracking the tube to reload and satisfying when you do tag someone. If you want to use TAGs, get whatever you like the look of that has a tilting barrel, i.e. not the M203 or anything with a sliding barrel. Sling mounts don't matter just buy paracord and you can easily make any sling attach to anything and some of the most popular slings used for legit guns use cordage as attachment for its' silence, versatility and strength.

I'd say under 35 for the day is alright, at least in SE england, I've paid more for CQB with no lunch and that was years ago. I think The Mall was at least that much before it shut. I don't like to say it, but unless it's gone down a rabbit hole or lost in the deepest undergrowth then somebody would definitely find an entire pistol so if it wasn't returned.. not great. I'll say I don't recommend pistol lanyards, 100% totally unnecessary if you just get a decent holster and it's a lot better to buy a decent holster than spend the same on a cheap holster + lanyard combo and drag your pistol through the muck. Even if it's not damaged, a lot of GBBPs can choke pretty easily if anything gets inside in crucial areas, given the low pressure of the gas and comparatively super low momentum of the slide cycling. It's a decent rule overall, I'm still on the fence but a bit about it but certainly one effective method to keep a lid on some issues and super easy to enforce. As I say my selection of guns just really didn't suit that rule and I'd have picked differently if I'd realised, but only had 4 lock-ups all day max out of my usual 4-500 BBs slung and only when I got spammy. As long as you have something that's a "real world machine gun" you can flick the switch, but one guy just had an RPK and I don't know where they'd draw the line on ARs with belt fed uppers etc so personally I'd change that one to some kind of weight requirement but again pretty minor issue there were only 2 on site.

Keep them all. From my own experience, I pretty much regret selling the ones I passed on. I also regret spending money buying some of them all over again! sounds to me like you have a nice varied spread/ collection.

always take claims of airsoft range with a big heap of salt, for starters airsoft meters are well known to be a different length to metric meters, and many folks will have different versions of what they mean by getting hits, dumping half a magazine into space for one round to barely be noticed, or firing one shot straight and level and hitting every time, wether it's a full target or someone hiding in cover etc. eh, can be tricky to tell. i've never done any proper range testing always went with just how it felt in the field.

I have the CYMA CM052 on a paracord lanyard. Lightweight, easy to use and cheap. Sniper MED with a 40Mike locally. The duck of death.

AOE on mine needed alot of correcting hence why I recommended the silent piston head. Nozzle is going to be difficult because AUG style nozzles are different sizes and not easy to get. I'd stick with the current one and load it up with silicon oil. The stock Cyma ones really are not that bad despite how cheap it looks.

worth mentioning seeing as you're going for replacing the air seal components to think about the nozzle too, especially if the stock one doesn't have a sealing o ring. otherwise that's pretty close to what i'd be thinking of dropping in there, i always struggle to recommend specific parts because there's always that chance X part might be off and won't work (which i've had plenty of times, it's how you accumulate a parts box) those silent type piston heads can push the aoe back, which depending on the gun might mess things up although it looks in this case (using very rough judgement based off one picture) it looks like there's room for it to shift back anyway.

I think you are correct on soft touch, given they have previous convictions and the shiny black tape on the grip. One must ask why it was in the car readily at hand if not to pull this bullshit. This kind of incident is where a national governing body could pull its weight and issue a national ban and resind any defence the defendant was holding....

That Humbrol is a Coyote Brown so it works well in woodland year round. Krylon brown is very dark, great for contrast though. If a DD M4 is your thing then get the handgaurd Cerakoted in midnight bronze, or if you have a black one do the oven trick. Spray the rest of the gun in that Humbrol and weather it in ?

I'm a big believer in the idea of voting with your feet. If you don't like how a site is run, and the kind of shenanigans the marshals let slide, then don't go. If it's really that bad, then attendance might become low enough that either the site bucks up its ideas or becomes financially non viable. A third outcome is that it will become a site totally frequented by arseholse and every gameday becomes a circle jerk of fuckwittery.

Give me ALL THE FUCKING ROF! Actually I've had this very discussion with a couple of teammates (kids mostly) not too long ago. We were chatting about upgrades and they wanted to know what a good RoF was, told them it's around 22 because it still gives plenty of plastic being thrown over there but at the same time you don't empty a magazine in 2 seconds flat. (Unsurprisingly, 22 RPS is what all my guns achieve on 7.4 batteries except for the pdw, which uses a slower motor)

I have an L85 Afv that I picked up second hand and while going through the process of repainting I removed that rail. The removed rail can be seen in the middle of this mess, it has two locating studs that are held in by two screws. Hope this helps, I don't really have any experience converting the rail to anything else but with a drill and tap I'm sure it can be done.

Start with your ht leads, give them a once over with some wd40 or other moisture displacement compound. If the outers start to break down then they become susceptible to higher resistance due to moisture.
