My take on it is if you look or act like a cock then your going to have to accept your going to have the piss taken out of you immaterial of which ‘faction’ of airsoft you follow , you run around like your arse is on fire jizzing bbs like a Sold white line From your HPA’ed pistol rig running at a gazillion Rds per Second ? then yes I will think you look like a cock for It AND more than likely point and laugh at you , you don’t like it ? Here have a nice big cup of “ i really don’t give a f**k !” It’s my opinion wether you like it or not , I’m not going to attack you for it but I’m more than likely going to say so to my friends . You look at me and think look at this fat old nobber , he shouldn’t be here getting in the way as i run around this ‘map’ ! AND tell all your friends ? there ya go that’s your opinion and there’s nothing I can (or would) do about it . Simply comes down to ‘opinions are like arse holes , everyone has one and there frequently full of shit !’ in the end just play for your own pleasure as long as your happy ? objective achieved , if someone gets off on deriding you ? say’la’vie. Live long and prosper 🖖3 points

The fact that you can buy literally any Airsoft gun you want is hardly discrimination, the only codicil is it has to be two tone if you don't have a relevant defence. But as has been pointed out, air rifles & pistols are likely to be better suited to your needs, plus there are a number of air weapons available that are very realistic in form, but fire 4.5 bb's , rifles & pistols, would probably be ideal & no two tone requirements, so look cool on display etc .2 points -
There is a provision in the law that allows you to buy an airsoft gun for garden shooting. That would be an IF rather than a RIF, which means you can have a realistic size, shape and method of operating but in a bright colour It would have been hard to justify the colour for garden shooting2 points

Its worth pointing out that you dont have to be running about all the time when playing airsoft, you can play at your own pace. One of the best counters to a player charging round the sides is an old bugger quietly parked in a hedge like a sentient landmine and there absolutely is value in having a couple of players in a team doing that.2 points -

They have options, air weapons are much better for plinking with the only requirement to purchase being over 18 (until you start getting higher on the power lvls) they tend to be cheaper to. Have a search for "M4 style air gun" and that should put you onto a few sites.2 points -
Classic meets modern. It's a shame I have to wrap it in scrim net and my leafy elastic rifle wrap thing as I love how it looks, but if I'm in my ghillie, so too does my rifle have to dress like a bush. Solved the issue of the RAS handguard kit tilting the scope up. Cut the part that fixes to the side of the receiver, as the top screw keeps it in place more than enough, and put on a normal scope mount that I know keeps the scope nice and straight. It's a workout gun though. Thing weighs an absolute tonne and is very front heavy thanks to the bipod, rail handguard and the m14 being front heavy in the first place. However, I'm very happy to have the bipod for when I'm in a hide and needing to keep this behemoth up and level. Yes, I actually use bipods while sniping.2 points

id use a clear 2k lacquer in a rattle can. 2k meaning its 2 part. you normally pull a pin and twist it at the bottom of the can. you get about 30 mins before the can is a dud. way more durable than standard stuff in a can, and you can get it reinforced with glass flake for extra abrasion resistance. source: paint technician!1 point -

Hi Power Mk3

It’s clear it’s a pretty poor design. What with this problem and the terrible hop design this would be a hard pass if it wasn’t for the fact that it is the only MK3 HP you can buy easily that shoots well enough to skirmish.. I don’t really understand why MK3 HPs are so scarce. It’s nearly as iconic as the 1911 and every man and his dog makes multiple versions of that pistol.......1 point -

That's pretty cool. The semi modernised look is definitely my favourite for the M14. A friend in the states built this recently1 point -

Ah yes but injuries aren't just confined to airsoft sites I was stalking a squirrel in garden with mk23. Weapon in ready up and extended position giving it my best man from uncle style. Squirrel ran off laughing as I fell over a two ton concrete frog that has been on patio for ten years! Cut knee and sprained wrist. Saved gun though.🤭👍 Regards1 point -
