The inner barrel on both is 250mm so no difference in performance. The normal MWS can take upto a 370mm barrel

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely don't condone it and these kinds of sellers are either naive or scummy. Its just impossible to protect everyone from them so buyers have to learn to be sceptical for themselves.

Yes and no. There are internet sites and even tv shows dedicated to catching chancers in all walks of life as ripping people off is frowned upon. But in the airsoft community it seems that people think it is ok to take advantage of people and it is their own fault when they fall foul of a con merchant. I can't do that personally as it shows a level of character that is abhorrent to me. The problem with this sort of thing is the breakdown is bollocks. £220 for the gun? There is barely anything left accept the receiver and a&k receivers are meh at best so really it is 50 quid. SHS and ZCI are often cheaper than the original parts so when you swap you add no value at all. If you fit Riot gears and a retro arms box and other expensive high quality bits you expect to get some return but very little on that build fits that list.

Hi @itsme, They are both the same apart from (as you said) the barrel length. 250mm on the CQBR and 330mm(???) on the M4A1. The internals are identical apart from that. The photos above your post are of my CQBR. It all depends what you are going to be using it for. If you are outdoors, then maybe go for the longer version or if you are indoors/CQB then the CQBR is perfect. In fact the CQBR in stock form is still amazing outdoors and easily out performs my AEG. I went the CQBR route as I play a lot in the underground tunnels and the prison down in Portsmouth. That said I am looking to purchase a second one and create an outdoor specific version. I assume you have read through the topic pages (lots of) as there is a treasure trove of information and there are lots of guys on here that know way more than me ( @Wo1f @Davegolf etc). Let us know which way you go.

I nearly put this in here. Didn’t bother due to the fact the guy has listed the cost of everything and still overpriced it. Playing 15 years and still doesn’t know “upgrades” don’t really increase the value? Also that you do t get back anywhere near what you paid. Lost cause there me thinks. Like you say its the poor sod who falls for it that I feel sorry for.

@ImTriggerHappy meh, you approached the advertiser and attempted to highlight the fact that he may wish to reassess the value. You can't do anymore than you have done and at the end of the day some people will inevitably react in a negative manner when faced with criticism or news that's something isn't worth as much they think it is. End of the day it's a case of best if luck to them. I know I wouldn't pay that sort of money for it and I doubt there are many who would.

I hate these guns, think they are ugly ugly (unlike the vector which is ugly beautiful) but this one looks sweeet!! Good job Ha! For years I used to think the g36k was a monstrosity purely because of that carry handle. But for some completely unknown reason I can end up loving guns I used to think were ugly. And it's struck again to the point I now prefer the k style carry handle to the one druid has swapped in for it...total reversal. Can anyone with initials after their name tell me what syndrome I have? (RELATING to what I said please)

My first RIF G&G GC16 Predator. Skirmished a few times and so far very happy with it. Plan to add a mock suppressor once I figure out what will fit with the rail and maybe a snake skin paint job in the far future.

Urban is supposed to be closing next month ............... so they told me but been hearing that for a while, seems more definite this time though hence no game dates released....
