It's so great to see teenage girls getting into airsoft.

I can buy whole boneyard guns that need a £15 part with a mag/mags for less than £40. If you were to buy it and build it up it would cost a fortune as most of the cost on a gbb pistol is in the slide. £15 if some one feels like taking a chance, you don't even say what part is missing. The complete 226s are worth about £70 in todays market. That is if in good condition which you cant tell from your pictures. To say tightbore barrel means nothing as can buy a pistol barrel for £15 which is less than the standard TM so for all anybody knows you might have just devalued it by a tenner. Guarder frame adds nothing really as can buy a slide frame kit out of HK for £80/90 so frame breaks down to £45 which is only a tenner more than a stock frame. Guns which sell well like the g17 go for £80 ish with a mag and in perfect condition Dodgy might be leaking mags £5 each. Can't comment on gear as not my thing. The SRC as you just claim upgraded gearbox with no real indication of what the upgrades are is worth about half your asking price if you get lucky. SRC is not a well thought of brand so doesn't hold value. The paint job makes it worth even less as people would have to want it like that. I have bought guns with new values of £350+ plus for well under 200. The second hand market is a buyers market so values have plummeted. As for elitist and why comment have a look what the thread is.

I don't understand peoples total delusion that they can make money on stuff they paid full retail for. I've sold stuff, I sold it because I knowingly sold it cheap, I wanted it to sell, I'm fine with that. The internet gives a pedestal to the unworthy.

I have spotted some bargains on here and taken advantage i.e my TRMR E1 with a holster for £55! My friend got a G&G CM16 RAIDER 2.0 for £115 with a 7.4lipo, 2 point sling red dot sight and foregrip. It's the people who refuse to lose money on a sale and try to pretend its worth more BECAUSE they owned it and put some shitty tat on or in it. As a new player this thread is very useful to know what is a fair price and isn't. Some new players might think the "upgrades" or accessories make it worth the price tag.

What's starting to irk me is the number of members here, some very new, some been here years, who seem to believe the forums sole purpose is as somewhere to flog their overpriced 💩, ggtimmy is a good example, been a member 6 years (I think) & only managed 6 posts, now while we're not looking for new Airsoft bff's, the occasional interaction wouldn't go amiss, even if it's only to rate a new bit of kit or a site you've played. i get it that a just joined today player may not have read all (or indeed any) of the rule & thread types, but a player who's been a member for years spitting his dummy out, & then wondering why he gets a response. Two things I'm REALLY looking forward to, ZeroIn getting back on line, & the schools restarting.

I do love it when people get aggressive, and the whole reason behind it is they know they are going to lose a little money. @ggtimmy Your best bet would have been to ask for an appraisal before listing it. Least then you could have avoided this.

I saw but couldn't be arsed. Even working it is not worth much more than a standard second hand combat machine. People really need to learn the difference between upgrading and just swapping parts.

And yet another example of completely unrealistic expectations , asking the kind of price you’d expect to pay for a good condition works well quality gun , for a spares box build that’s not working !

Why do you want silent filling? Marui valves dont have O rings. Its easier to fill the Marui valves as they let expelled air out when gas goes in, so they fill faster, plus you know 100% when they are full as they burp out liquid.

I wouldn't advise using a 6.00 You need to keep a minimum 0.08 mm clearance between the barrel and BB. Barrel diameter 6.03 - BB diameter 5.95 = clearance 0.08 Otherwise you have a much greater chance of the BB touching the barrel interfering with its spin, and much more chance of dirt blocking / damaging the barrel / BB

I don't quite know how to reply to this. Yes - £40 for the lower of a TM Sig 226 that's almost complete - the slide is worth about £20-25 the complete lower is worth £70-75. What an elitist comment - which doesn't even make sense. What's your problem? Why comment? I don't get it? Is this what the airsoft community has become? #Toxic To add to the above It's a sales post - It's not badly priced at all. There's nothing stopping people offering less than the £40 is there? What would you sell it for?
