  2. Pull the gearbox out, turn it over There's a little nub where that little lever goes on, the spring goes against that nub then the black piece goes on top & there will be 2 screws to hold it down There's a long screw on the bottom front, take it out, put that black bit on a use the 2 screws to secure it There's a channel on that black bit that the little spring goes into

  5. Do this. Ive done the same but my suppresor starts at the end of the rail, doesnt go in it. also mate what length barrel are you putting in there? Must be over 500mm to need 350mm of suppresor. if you're whachking that in a stock combat machine you need to get a portless cylinder and possibly even an upgraded spring, or your fps wont be alot.

nothing to worry about and relatively normal. Not entirely sure what causes it (and I'm not going to try an work it out in this heat), but common on a lot of lower-low/mid end AEGs

  10. I've still bought things from both helmet world & bullseye, some m4 mags, buckings & a hop up This was even after these new "legislations" came in to crucify the sport & yet you can still get more dangerous items on there

  11. Just not being a wazzock about its suffices......I have had zero issues using my BFG there. Oh and the amount of times I have seen people fail to light those paper pyros they sell is beyond count

  14. You could try Blue Streak which is a little way outside Aylesbury. Not been myself but my mate won't stop going on about it after he went the other week. We are planning on going there on 19th July if you can't get a game/fancy tagging along. http://www.bluestreak-airsoft.co.uk/index.php

    Airsoft confessions

As I tend to use single fire & I know they aren't taking there hits as I've got a scope & I can see them flinching but not taking hits then I give them bursts of auto until they do

    Hello!

Its nice to get a new member without having to answer which combat machine or g36 to go for. Welcome to the forum.

  18. Difficult question really. I wouldnt say they ever have two many players in there as such, its normally about a 100 which is ok as while its cqb its still a big site. The problem is new players can struggle a bit trying to get around because they dont know the layout and how to play the site to its best. The other problem is if you get a lot of people camping in doorways and corridors it can create a lot of choke points and that can grind the game to a standstill. Its more a problem with players not throwing themselves in and not the site itself. The marshalls are usually quite good a coming up with games to prevent that though and nothing breaks a choke point better than the Terminator. I love the place but I have a bit of an aggressive play style so it suits me.

    Shotgun Loadout/Kit

The hoops are brilliant for holding disposable pyro providing you make sure they're tight enough for the style you use. Here's the belt I have: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/360557517798?nav=SEARCH With this I run a small dump pouch, rubber knife, 20 shells or so and my CZ75 in a fobus holster. The spare mag for my pistol lives in the dump pouch with my TRMR when I run it. This is minimalist loadout for running a shotgun - no fancy plate carriers, hydration packs, etc. Speed and aggression are key to using a shotgun since you're vastly outgunned most of the time unless your opponent is running a spring weapon as well. I'm tempted to update my plate carrier with more shotgun shell holders for woodland games where the extra protection from sniper shots/full auto is appreciated

  21. New to the forum, but I work in the security industry so thought I'd give my 2 pence. I haven't seen it mentioned in my skimming of this thread but one thing people seem to be missing is intent. If you show any prior intent to cause harm to someone the chances of you falling foul of the law are greatly increased, regardless of what you use. If we're talking about grabbing a RIF because your crapping your pants while someone breaks in, then you'll likely be fine. It's the difference between specifically having an item available to mess someone up who breaks into your house, or just grabbing something to hand because it was there and you thought it would scare them off. Having said that, given the limited amount of damage an airsoft gun can do, I'd say you're unlikely to face criminal charges, but as someone else has said, and more importantly, you could be putting your own life in danger!

  22. Depends. If you're OK with running up and down flights of stairs in the pitch black, getting lost and totally gagglefucked at every corner, doorway and corridor.....then yes. I love it but then I know my way around It's a great site and it IS unique. But it's not for everyone.

  23. Depends how "safe" you want to be. Any cheap replica will stop BBs but none of them are any "safer" than a cheap cycle helmet. If that's OK for you then I would suggest getting an FMA one from ebay (the Emerson ones are not as nice). If on the other hand you actually want one that'll properly save your head from a decent bump then you're into real ones and they cost a crapping fortune!

    25 kg sacks of bbs

I buy 12 x 3k bottles of 0.25g Blasters from Socom Tactical which is £80 posted. Personally I'm surprised everyone doesn't bulk buy if they know a good source as they don't exactly go off and will get used, it saves money in the long run and i've been to sites that don't sell BBs(not to mention they can be £10 a bottle if they do) They also do these: http://www.socomtactical.net/airsoft-accessories/ammo-and-gas/0-25-airsoft-bbs/25-bags-of-3000-0-25g-bbs-bulk-deal-save-40.html Which is even cheaper, no idea what that ammo is like though.

  25. If you want a recoil aeg the only ones worth getting are the TM Recoil series or the PTS Erg m4s. MP5's that would be worth looking at are the TM high cycle if for cqb, if you want something a bit higher power check out the Ics MP5's. Dont worry about the pistol straight away just get a decent primary and dont listen to people saying about how much you spend its your money spend what you like. You will be better off with an aeg rather than gas gun for your first airsoft gun.

  29. Everyone always blames the rentals or the new guys but in my experience the worst offenders for every offence possible is normally the elitsist players. The type who think they know everything there is about airsoft and unless you have spent 1000s on kit your a pleb. There sort who run around shouting on your six or tango down usually followed by "take your fookin hits". We all have met them they are at every game day. Maybe its time to stop blaming the new players as we were/are all one at some point.

  30. At the kind of ranges we're talking about when a burglar is in your house, you don't need a RIF anyway, you could simply tap them on the shoulder and say 'knife kill'

  31. Trunk hits don't count, but you will have to paint him half a bright colour unless you get a UKERA licence.
