I would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas and New Year. It's been an interesting,funny and,at times,fudal year of forum shannigins and banter which all makes afuk the place to be. As of now I am in Christmas mode and shall be donning the Santa apron and putting the Heineken hat on and staying up late.(10.30ish) lol. I shall probably go dark for a while as posting up eats into drinking time🍺🍺. Well I really can't work women out. Mrs Shamal is on a ten day cruise of the med. So I hatched a plot to send her a video of her two most loved furry friends. Nonky the tiger and cheeser the mouse. She is so protective about them that it's unreal. With the help of @EDcasea video was produced that showed them both hanging from my drone at the local cricket club although they have never left the house.( Excellent production from Ed.) I sent her the video today thinking that she would go ballistic( imagine a five foot stick of tnt in the heat of a Turkish bazaar) Her reaction? "Ahh Sweet"🤔 Unbelievable! I asked her how many cocktails she had had. No reply. I may be on some sort of hit list for when she returns. If you don't hear from me then you know the reason why!😂 Regards

Finally got my,ahem,helmet sorted out 🙂 The go pro was at a funny angle,pointing more at the floor than forward due to the hinge of the case hitting the mounting plate.I didn't want to get an extension arm which would have sorted the problem but at the cost of raising camera up 76mm so with the Dremel I was able to remove enough plastic from the mounting plate to allow it to swing upright.👍 The helmet has never really sat nicely on me nogging so I set about experimenting with different sizes of velcro/foam inserts which helped but then I looked at the rotary knob for the headband which I thought was at maximum travel but lo and behold it went another turn and fuck me sideways the helmet fits perfect,almost like it's stitched to me bonce. So all in all a good days mucking about🙂🙂 Regards

Been researching different gas pressures for my TM MWS. Usually using ASG Ultrair (beige bottle) and found this handy video comparing different gasses. “Airsoft Mike” Youtube video shows the following (amongst others): Nuprol 1.0 - 320fps ASG Ultrair - 345fps V6 - 365fps V8 - 375fps Nuprol 3.0 - 375fps Obviously it will vary from platform to platform but a handy guide to, in the words of “Play Your Cards Right”, higher or lower? 😁

Does anybody else start off with a solid build plan in mind, then go to look at parts and end up finding something completely different? I planned to build a GBB MK18 out of the spares I've got, and then stumbled across some Colt Canada furniture in the green and now my mind is changed fully 😂

It's honestly incredible how every single teching session steadily goes from theraputic to requiring therapy yourself in the span of around 30 minutes, you'll have 90% of whatever you wanted to do done, get stuck with one tiny thing, get frustrated/order what you needed, and when you're closing your gun back up until said part comes or you can have the patience again something'll go wrong or a spring'll be a cunt and before you know it you're a shivering, sobbing mess losing your mind praying you'll never pick up a hexhead screwdriver ever again

Bought three MWS mags from Japan on Friday. They just arrived, in perfect condition and at less than £38/mag incl. postage. I'm impressed!

I know they'll blame the Post Office but retailers really are ripping us off on postage! £7 postage on a £4 part! And they wonder why we go straight to eBay!

Probably best day of airsoft I've had so far in the last year of playing - kneepads and an anti-fog unit + glasses insert for my goggles made playing so much better. Or, it was the best day of playing until two of my guns decided to go click and die of death for no reason... Go airsoft!!!! 🙃
