It's something only you can answer. If you are going to worry to the extent that it spoils your day then leave the expensive toys at home and run something cheeper. For myself I run my GBBR l119s pretty much every game day now and those probably owe me close to 4 figurs each and I don't worry about them. If they do happen to get damaged I built them so I'll fix them.

Depends on the RIF in question, some are expensive because they're rare, some because they are good. I always see that these rifs, kit etc are there to be enjoyed and if you aren't getting the maximum amount of enjoyment out of them.....why bother? To some that will be keeping them as a collectors piece and to others fielding them. If they are just wall hangers.....do they need to work or just look pretty?

Welcome, as others have said there's loads of useful information for new players here. There's nothing wrong with turning up alone as most airsofters are a friendly bunch and won't bite. Just a heads up that the vast majority of airsoft youtube videos don't really give a realistic insight into games as they're usually heavily edited. Even the better ones should be considered little more than highlights

Hello all, long time no speak. I have had this Specna SA-E19 Edge 2.0 sat unused under my bed since... February? Maybe January. Never fired a shot (got rid of all my batteries 😅) has been downgraded to 350 FPS. Has all the Daniel Defense trades and the gate aster optical MOSFET, flat hop etc Just having a clear out and selling off all my stuff. What's a good asking price for this at the moment? Comes with two of the Specna S-Mag Midcaps and everything as you would if you got it new.

You are correct hitman they didn't as standard, which blew my mind but not my tag rounds... Thankfully i've managed to design (after afew test runs) and machine myself up both of firing mechanism components (one on the side of the missile and another on the inside) to make it fully funtional now.

To be honest massive breakages don't happen too often. However if you're worried about more minor damage, then certainly leave those rifs at home as skirmishing with them will result in minor scratches etc. Although having a gun to use in game rather than using one you want to keep box fresh sounds like a good excuse for a shopping spree

One of the great things about this hobby is that you can play at the pace you want (or your body will allow😁). Let the youngsters and those jacked up on monster charge around and draw fire so you know where to shoot

I cant remember whether its G&G or G&P that use some proprietary parts in their M14s, though I think thats more around the mag & hop unit. What youll probably need is like the below, a barrel that has 2 notches in it rather than the standard 1. As the M14 hop unit is a different length to most others. Or if youre handy with a dremel, any barrel will do if you dremel your own notches into it I use a Modify Hybrid 6.03mm barrel in my Cyma M14 and Im very happy with its performance.

Being such a Double Eagle fan-boi for so long, and also very much enjoying my G&G G36C, I just had to pick up this bad boy! I haven't chrono'd this yet, but the power is amazing. I can reach out to a full 14 or even 15m (if I aim at a slight, or perhaps extreme angle upwards). I really must work out how to install a hop unit into this, so I can unlock its full potential. 20m might be within my grasp! The 0.20g BBs disappear into the distance with a beautifully curved ballistic trajectory (that goes in every direction, thereby proving Schroedinger's Uncertainty Principal) before slamming into any object with a resonating 'tic' or 'ping' or even 'flump' The Rate of Fire is a little disappointing, I've only managed 1 shot every 5 or 10 seconds so far, but I'm sure that will improve with practice. Hey at least I'll conserve those expensive BB's! Talking of which, I need to source more magazines, I fear one magazine may not allow me to dominate the battlefield, whatever the RoF. I am definitely considering building a lightweight loadout to support this as it will definitely become my primary for the next skirmish. The impressive low weight (of less than a half a bag of sugar) means I'll be dancing around the site faster than those pesky kids Now... what to accessorize it with? I may have to transfer my 1.25-5x LVPO across from my HK416. A torch and laser combo for CQB is surely a must too. Perhaps a real-steel pistol grip (could be glued on somehow)? To be fair, this gun is so great, if I'm going to spend money on 'upgrades' it'll be on this one now 😎

There is this guy with the TNT hop unit and barrel hitting 50m targets with no problem. He is using 0.4g bbs and a higher fps than we can have over here, but it seems to be the real deal. I will have a go with heavier bbs first to see how I get on. I have already spent a small fortune on the gun and mags so I don't wanty to keep spending money on it, although I probably will anyway.

Well what can I say, other than I'm bored? Haven't played since I headbutted a rock, but still need to shoot things. As do my boys. We'd been shooting in the garden, using tin cans, at ground level. I had an epiphany - I was teaching my boys to shoot people's feet! Useless. So I immediately went out and bought a load of garden canes. I then stuck them in the ground all over the (enclosed) garden. I topped them off with a cat food tin and voila - one course of fire created for pennies! Sod these electric target systems - it was an absolute blast and cheap as chips. You can do all sorts of drills, lay them out in any order you want. The only limit is your imagination. Why dafuq I never thought of it before is beyond me. As the boys improve, I'll start designating different targets as pistol and rifle, so they can transition between the two. By the time they can actually play, they're going to be awesome 😄 Anyway... if you haven't, I can highly recommend it and if you have, I'm open to any further ideas to make it even better.

Finally managed to source one myself. Tag round testing this weekend, I don't see why it'll be a problem.
