Id of glock

The case is from a Well G17. The gun itself looks like a WE G18C. I wouldn't get too hung up on matching parts codes if the gun functions OK.2 points -
Ex attempting to sell me back my RIF - Is this an offence under the VCRA?
Rogerborg and one other reacted to Emergencychimps for a topic
Did I read that you have a child with this person? My suspicion is that this is purely about exerting control and influence over you. It's taking up your time and thought etc. If there is a kid I'd advise that you don't mention it to her again, write it off, stop it from being a thing that she can manipulate you with. I suspect you'd get it back in the future once she realises it not a thing of importance (it'll get in her way, remind her of you etc)Even if you don't taking something that she can manipulate you with away from her has value. While it's not a cheap rif, you'll need to maintain as cordial relations with this person as best you can (assuming there is a kid). Is any of the above right or fair etc? Not at all, but during a messy break up, custody arguments and the associated solicitor fees you may find the price of the rif is small beer.2 points -
Reading OPs post as it stands (on 07-01-23) he makes no reference that she will sell it, only stating that she wont return it. He assumes she may sell it but at this time there is no definitive proof of a sale posted, organised or completed. The reasons she wont return it are unknown at this stage, she may (believe to) have a reasonable excuse. At this stage we only have the circumstances from one party (OP), not the other. However you are correct, that if on the circumstances given are true and she has made attempts to sell it etc. To make a report of Domestic Related Theft. To OP (if your still around) I would again advise that you contact your local force via telephone, police station (if there are any) or online report about the Theft Advise that you are willing to provide an MG11 statement and attend court if necessary GO ALL IN! DON'T BACK OUT or give a withdrawal statement Ensure the police are kept up to date as to your correspondence address, telephone numbers and email/s I know you only want the MWS back, but if you don't go all in you won't get anything back Now even if you do this, you may still never see that gun again but at least you'll get some financial recompense if she is convicted YES THIS WILL TAKE LONG! I would be surprised if its done and dusted in 6 months I forgot to add that you need to be honest and frank about what she has taken, mention that it is a TM MWS (+plus other guns etc) and what that is, may perk the Office In Charge of the case to get his gears moving. You may have to explain to the officer stuff about UKARA and the VCRA 2005, try not to be snarky (remember you want to be the victim here), not every officer knows everything to do with guns, most are oblivious to airsoft and its legislation.2 points

Second^^ £350 is a small price to pay when children are involved. Amicable is the buzz word and generally it’s us guys that have to rise above it, unfortunately - but true.1 point

Now having read the more open and bigger picture: Its seems the Theft Act comes into place here. She has offered you your gun back for £350 My question is what is that £350 for? Bills, rent money etc, i'm just speculating? Part of S1 Theft Act 1968 is the phrase "intention of permanently depriving the other of it" also means placing a condition upon its return. As far as i read, she has placed a condition for its return, namely £350, money which may not have or be unwilling to pay what you already own. And the likelihood is she knows this. I would advise to definitely speak to police about this, insist that it is theft as personal property that you bought, owned and used solely by you and can be proved as such is being withheld by another party who is demanding payment for its return. Dont let them fob you off with "its a civil dispute" As previously mentioned, keep any correspondence in the text world only, and remain civil at all times. Mention the coercive and controlling behaviour, point towards the email you had, her actions etc. If you still dont get a decent answer, then kick up a fuss with your local forces complaints procedure and IOPC, but use that as a last resort. Its going to be a long ride buddy, ain't going to lie1 point

Selling a complete pistol lower or upper
JimFromHorsham reacted to Rogerborg for a topic
Is this a serious thread? If you're not selling a (whole, complete) realistic imitation firearm, then no offence is being committed. If you are selling a (whole, complete) realistic imitation firearm, then technically an offence may be being committed, but nobody will ever care. Is this a real concern for you?1 point -
I can't understand why TM haven't dropped their MWS mags into a P-Mag or E-Mag shell. Maybe one day. Think I'll pick up some of the GM ones and grab myself some addition o-rings!1 point

Magnum boots, are they crap?
Cannonfodder reacted to Tactical Pith Helmet for a topic
I had a look ar some Magnums a couple of months ago. Horrible cheap wafer thin leather. The screws in our local nick all used to wear them for years, but I notice that they wear a variety of brands now. Like you I've funny shaped feet, and find that the Lowa fit well but only if you get the right width fitting. Same for Haix.1 point -

No you don't. Her snooping and controlling behavior is not your fault, it's 100% on her. As for what to do, don't pay her a penny as she's trying to manipulate you. Unfortunately I don't want to give legal advice as I'm not a lawyer or solicitor so I don't want to post something that turns out to be bollocks. Good luck with it1 point -

Upgrades have started. I went with a 5KU BBU as they're less than half the price of the Cow2 ones and generally in hi capa land the 5KU stuff is pretty decent with good tolerances. Can only echo the same thing. BBU area upgrades are completed. Got barrel/hop upgrades to do and then hammer/knocker before we stick a HPA adaptor up it. Here it is with a 5KU BBU and 5KU magwell.1 point

Some Advice For a New Player Please
Mackrel829 reacted to Pollynator_bravo2 for a topic
Ditto to this. My games were spoiled by pants ppe leaving me with steamed up goggles or glasses etc. I’d recommend playing a few games and feeling out your style plus you need to grab a UKARA unless your going two tone. My list would be Edge safety specs, a decent pair of boots (one twisted ankle and that’s your day done), then head protection, gloves, then go for weapon systems. find your style first so you get what ever is most suitable to your style of play. Or you will end up in my work of Airsoft spending heaven ………….. or divorce lol1 point -
I wore them daily for years, literally bought my first pair about 32 years ago (back then they were great) , but having seen a gradual decrease in the quality, both in workmanship & design, & particularly in the materials used, such as the "leather" that isn't really leather. I gave up after the last pair I bought, costing in excess of £90, failed after a couple of months of light use. Never again😡1 point

After 3 days without eating and sleeping, here is my fully Zenitco-ed GHK AK74 with full steel internals and steel barrel. Eveything upgradable is upgraded. Parts list will be too long. Weighs a ton. Almost like the real thing. Barrel is a pain in the arse to change btw And here's what it used to look like. Wouldn't say it's the same gun1 point -
Some Advice For a New Player Please
Mackrel829 reacted to RostokMcSpoons for a topic
Re CM16. My local site had a lot of them. I used them on a few occasions, very good solid guns. Too expensive now. They've now started using Double Eagle M904's which are probably the same price, but as Rogerborg says they have more features. I run an M906C and love it (just budget a tenner and five minutes of your time to replace the weak-sauce spring with a better one) Re the M14 scope mount... it's out of stock at Patrolbase... and it's out of stock everywhere else I looked too - so I bought one from AliExpress (you can get loads of cheap - but occasionally crap - airsoft stuff from there, if you're willing to wait) The problem is the mounting bolts are the wrong size for the Cyma's existing holes. So I bought a set of threading bits (I forget the proper name, but I'm sure you know what I mean). Damn it. Still not the right size! My set was integer sizes, the AliExpress mount seems to be a half size (M6.5) So I've not got around to fitting mine yet. Might be worth waiting for a UK supply.1 point -

Solid performers, decent quality plastic, but zero bells and whistles, and hugely overpriced now compared to Specna Arms, Double Eagle, Lancer Tactical and CYMA equivalents.1 point -

Specna Arms Mag Compatibility
AGR reacted to Speedbird_666 for a topic
Some pitting in the metal - managed to sand out a lot of it, but it will never be a beauty queen now. The Specna paint on mine (again - early batch so may have changed) was so thin that even 0000 Grade wire wool took it off easily. So - it's had a base coat of a rather fetching shade of German WW2 'Hell grau' - and will be my first attempt at dicking around with an airbrush much like the stuff that Negative Airsoft does. Just not as good obviously.1 point -

If you have bought issue AKU Pilgrim boots, take them back if you can. The heels wear down very quickly and they are far from being waterproof, despite the GoreTex lining.0 points
