I have a message in my inbox. I hope it's challenging me to a duel... [UPDATE] Huh, more reasonable points. Look, just ban him, we don't need this sort of adult behaviour breaking out around here.4 points -
Finally got around to a family photo... My god, what have I done. My wallet... But it is glorious.4 points

True - at the end of the day - this is just a preliminary price, I'll likely reduce it and i do often offer a lowered price in the end. It's not personal - as you have said. I'm still pretty new to the hobby and of course pricing is just another thing I need to work around. I do appreciate the call out, because yeh - now I look back it was pretty insane.4 points

The issue your fighting is this: https://www.taiwangun.com/en/electric/cm-028c-cyma Same gun, brand new, and without 2-tone if you have your ukara for £35 less than your asking price (from last i checked just before writing). The general (although not exclusive) rule of thumb is ~60% of retail for a secondhand item. This thread for sure is a strange way of evaluating the classifieds, but it can work well if you take it in the spirit of the same kind of banter youd find in your average airsoft safe zone. You are of course free to ask whatever price you like, and you may be able to sell just fine, but at least now you know what you're competing with.3 points -

The price isn't final - A friend of mine was very kind and shimmed two of my guns since both came from the supplier pretty grindy - but aside from that nothing was done. They do both come with some added externals, but I've adjusted prices to not include the flat shipping fee because now I'll calculate it before I ask for the money/sent the gun. Hurts a bit too have it called out in a meme thread however, a good point was raised - and has helped me adjust. Thank you2 points -

I know. I should have made my mild sarcasm a little clearer. But it's been done to death now - he's acting within the forum rules, and the Mods have tacitly acknowledged this. Rules have been 'tweaked' to reduce the number of sale items due to the feedback on this very thread. Until the Mods decide to implement a minimum (non-classifieds) post count like Arnies (which is a bad idea IMO), he's here for the long run. No point going over the topic ad-nauseam.1 point -

This forum update patch brings with it a bunch of new theme changes, so expect the dark theme to be broken for a little while as I update this.1 point

It's a Northeast Sten MkV, they were introduced in 1944 as an updated, more ergonomic and well made version of the Sten. You're right though, it is a bit Owen looking now you mention it!1 point

Felt cute, might defend El Alamein later idk. Just threw together some shorts and a shirt for the desert campaign look, probably won't spend the money on proper repro desert kit, given there aren't too many deserts in the cotswolds. But this looks the part.1 point

Cheers for the reply, no the knocker doesn't protrude until the second "wall" and everything seems to work fine, honestly would be fine with it staying either single-stage or two-stage, the randomness is the annoying part. Bought the dynamic precision enhanced trigger box springs as spares for when something breaks - thinking now might be the time to try them if I'm taking the unit apart.1 point

I've just put my first proper WW2 kit together after years of spending all my money on guns instead... I went for a British Commando look mostly because... Well I'll be honest, it was the cheapest. And having just mostly drained my funds getting the new Northeast Sten MkV, it needed to be! It considerably helped cost wise that I already had the bergen, scarf, and got the boots off my dad, from his time in the navy. I will be replacing those ill-fitting gaiters as soon as possible. For a more early war look, removed the scarf and grabed the M1928. Now I've just got to get to a game in it!1 point -
Great to see a WW2 thread! I've just put my first proper kit together after years of spending all my money on guns instead... And I know it's somewhat blasthemy, but I don't really want to blanco my webbing... I rather like the colour it is! I shall be wearing it in though, so it looks a little less... just off the boat. For a more early war look, removed the scarf and grabed the M1928. Unfotunately it seems I will have to send the jumper back, as it's dethreading at the collar, and while I have the chance I'm wondering if I might need to swap the trousers for a smaller size... I'm well aware P37s are pretty baggy, but they do seem a tad exessively so and slightly loose around the waist. If anyone more experienced has some advice on that I'd greatly appreciate it, don't want to send them back for a smaller size only for them to be too small!1 point

The box of bits arrived today and in about an hour I had it mostly together. I didn't bother doing it 100% as it's coming apart soon to get completely rebuilt. It's scruffy and there are some fitment issues in a couple of places and a couple of bits missing but nothing that can't be fixed. Overall I'm really happy with it, it was cheap, it's lightweight and when it's done it'll be a good reliable backup or loner gun1 point -

Joined the SRS club, immediately pulled it apart to paint it (along with a suppressor cover). Scope mount also showed up today, looking forward to the scope arriving along with some parts for the SRS.1 point -
