@Joe142 some solid kit there! I use a fair few of those brands and they work well ( DM, FRV, 5.11 jeans are my daily wear!) Looks good and should perform well.

You might be able to lose the HS Flatpack as UCAP VENDETTA isn’t that big and getting stuff out is a PITA. Might see you there at the end of the month!

@SSPKali thanks bro, I find the Kit I’ve got works real well together in practice so far, the WAS pouches aren’t amazing so I wanna upgrade to maybe some HSGI stuff or maybe some Haley pouches but other than that I’m pretty happy, same here with the 5.11 jeans, I’ve got about 5 pairs and they’re not only great for Airsoft but they’re great for EDC kit too In daily life

tbh I find the flat pack quite useful for spare Mk5s and speed loaders when I haven’t got enough room in the SACK, I occasionally go with a few buddies so I can rely on them to grab stuff for me if needed

oh no way you play at UCAP too? I might see you on the field then ?

@Joe142 I have just switched to Esstac Kywi pouches and they are worth every penny. Hold the MWS gas mags really securely but easy to remove / re-index.

@SSPKali awesome I’ll have to check them out then they sound like some good bits of kit, thanks for the recommendation ?

+1 on the esstac pouches!

If you're set on a mag type, like you only use common style 556 mags and Glock for example, they're locked in as the gold standard pouches at this point.

Well got my kit together for tomorrow's Big Skirmish at AWA.

My SVU courtesy of @Asomodaiwill be having its first run, which I'm looking forward to.  Got a big bag of 0.32s to go with it as well as a 3d printed stock extension which is stuck on such that it can be taken off if needed without leaving marks (the adhesive is still going off, but it will be invisible when it has finished).

Also got an alternative 2x scope with a filament reticule which is pretty good.   There's a red dot sight in my case too.

And of course my obligatory "Running Fat" badge.

Have got a second Ops panel so I can quickly swap between M4 spray and pray games and DMR I haven't decided yet whether to try an run with both the M4 and the SVU at the same time.... That's a pretty heavy kit if I do. But I don't fully trust all my pistol mags.

I was seriously considering that SVU, very nice and great value!

What does your cap moral patch say?

The badge translates to "Running Fat"...  The nearest I could find to "Fat Boy Running" with getting one made up.   Normally have it on my arm though.

Loved the unique look of the SVU which is why I got it.  Typically not an AK fan though. It certainly has some gravity to it as AVE would say. ?

Doubt it’s your first time wearing the osprey however how long until you remove the rod on the right shoulder?

Never really thought about it.  Although today for some reason, the vest was rubbing and has taken off the skin down both sides of my waste.

My shower this afternoon was excruciating.  ??

Todays (mainly) DPM loadout of choice with the L119 A1 GBBR. Just after the pic was taken the sight protector took a hit, saved the sight though !

Where did you pick up the little 2x scope?

Posted

I found it on ebay for £30 or so and took a punt.  There's no branding on it, but it is great.

Has a fairly decent field of view and the reticule is so minimal.  Means it does its primary job of letting me see better down range rather than making me think I can shoot the snot from a field mouses' nose.

Ditched my cheap Acog 4x as the optics are so far off that the bb doesn't even hit in the field of view.

I tested out belt setup with 48CI hpa tank because it was too hot for plate carrier,  but I think I need a stronger belt for next time.

One of these might be worth a look: https://www.wtfidea.com/bag-32-for-first-strike-26ci-3k-psi-hpa-tanks/

Saves the whole "dangly pouch" problem.

Cropped out my feet as well forgot my boots like a donut so was rocking some vans but still.

Post game snap, enjoyed running the belt as it was a hot one!

Jeans were a nice change too, can’t beat a nicely fitting pair of Levi’s (not fancy enough for Armani like Craighead).

Face blur for uglies and such.
