  1. Incredibly easy, bolt out then undo the 2 screws at the top near the front of the nozzle. Standard spring is awful. The AIP 140% I put in "sat" on the locating lug (likely where a lot of the snappiness is coming from) but playing with the nozzle and bbu in my hands you can feel how stronger it is. H-Plate is going to be an interesting one, I changed my mind last minute and went Decepticon 70 rather than the Autobot 60 I'd planned on but the H fits so nicely into the hop arm, real friction fit, I'd be shocked if it detrimented performance, looking down the barrel the profile of the bucking looked amazing. Can't wait for the HPA adapter to arrive so I can rip a few midcaps through to get it ready. Was a leftover I had from my recent Hi Capa builds. Mike @ Elite Shooting Centre sells them but do be careful as I ordered an AIP 140 previously and he sent me a crappy red DP 125 thing. IF you're not desperate, have a look at Rainbow8, postage is about the same as Mike but parts are cheaper (you'll get a pack of 3 for £4) and there are lots of other shiny bits on there. 😁 I will try to get something put together. This entire thread has been an inspiration, watching everyone buy multiples of the things I wondered what the fuss was about. Having bought mine and thrown in mostly cheap upgrades I'm excited to see how it shoots. Took a few dry fire tests last night to test the trigger, woooo she had a little bit of kick on her (must be so used to a hi capa with lightweight BBU). Interested to see what PSI I can get 1J with 0.25's and 0.28's at as that'll be what I run it at (indoor/outdoor).
  2. Spent the evening putting some bits in. Barrel, bucking, h plate, went in no issue, really like the hop unit design, feels so much better put together than a hi capa. CowCow trigger, looks great, no sloppiness but have lost the use of both safeties, not a problem for me but no idea (or even cares) why. Hi capa 140% nozzle spring, OMG what a difference, stock nozzle spring is ass and well worth the £2 to upgrade. Fibre sights, it's 2mm fibre and the sights are plastic, me with 1.5mm fibre had to be very careful, got it in but in time will swap for 2mm. Didn't video any of it as I wasn't confident and rightly so, had it in bits and resorted to YouTube for a rebuild guide. Will probably do a build overview though but nobody cares about a nobodys build so not a high priority.
  3. Everything apart from the short stroke kit has arrived now (knew I should have ordered the black rifles one). The CowCow trigger is simply marvellous to behold but I naively read people saying it was a "drop in" fit and assumed it would be easy, looks like an entire take down on the lower half to swap it over. At least I'll know how it all works when I'm done!
  4. FTFY It's personal preference really. I rarely play gas mag these days and short stroking helps me get my ROF up when finger banging 😁
  5. This ^^^^^ Yes as others have said though. You do lose the slide lock back but to be fair you can normally tell by the sound (well I can with my capa's anyway) so it's not life ending. If you're dependant on a slide locking back to know you've used all your rounds and you don't have a rough idea what you've got then you're not paying enough attention. Also not a problem for me as I'll be shoving either 110 or 140 round midcaps through it.
  6. Ideal i fyou have a buddy who can print them for you. Just be aware that too many will cause feeding issues as the nozzle can't return fast enough. I've read they take hi capa nozzle return springs (which I luckily have a spare 140% in my favourite brand of) so that will help.
  7. Does anyone have more reputation than post count? I want to meet that person and shake them by the hand.

  8. I bought these as the colour attracted me and the price is delivered linky-mclinkerson However I had intended to buy these linky-mclinkerson May have bought one of these as well as its cheap and if it helps great. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tactical-Pistol-Rubber-Grip-Finger-Glove-Anti-Slip-For-Glock-Handgun-Hunting-BK/313204019825?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  9. Yeah shipping was a kick in the knackers at $27 dollars but they send it as "pneumatic parts for toy" so there you don't really pay any import on them. Well I didn't with my Hi capa version anyway. Can't wait to get it all assembled now.
  10. Absolutely 🤓 Can't moan about how shit golden eagles are forever 😂 Well in other news, primary now have Glock>M4 adapters back in stock, 1 less than when I first clicked onto the site though mind 😳 It was only a matter of time. Was tossing up between primary and a couple of extended mags tapped but primary makes more sense.
  11. Caved in. Cow2 trigger on the way from bullseye, was £7 more than buying from HK and I don't have to avoid Chinese New year. Can't wait to build.
  12. The parts are starting to arrive! Had a moment of almost weakness last night and thought "why did I buy a ZCI barrel when I can buy PDI?" and then U-turned and decided to stick with ZCI. 2021 Autobot in 60° is very pliable, does feel a bit softer than the older 60's. Looking forward to what it can do. Dug out my nozzle springs so have an AIP 140% to go in. Dug out my fibres Parts waiting for; H plate Short stroke Parts debating on; CowCow trigger as the stock trigger is a bit sloppy Waiting until all parts are present and then I only have to take it apart once.
  13. Morning people, I'm not one for heartfelt stuff but I am one for keeping your mind "right". Last week I had a shit time mentally and having people to interact with on here helped. Thank you all.

For anyone on Facebook, it's worth checking out this place https://www.facebook.com/groups/2322408757979991 It's an airsoft centric mental health group.

  14. Our little group bought a license. The UK light one, I think it was £75 and covers us for 5 years. Split between the 5/6 it wasn't a lot and even then when you spread that over 5 years, well worth it to get off the peasant channels and power restrictions. The long and short of it is that if you buy a radio and can program/remove it's antenna then it isn't technically legal for PMR use however the chances of getting caught are about the same as Victoria Beckham hitting the right note in a Spice Girls reunion concert. For the amount we spend on kit and pouches and stuff, a radio license is pocket money.
  15. The modding continues, new shiny parts from Waldo Customs. Product review and installation.
  16. They're an insert for your hop arm, they give a more even pressure across the bucking and are perfect for maple and flamingo rubbers. Makes your hop arm concave. iKey is more of a rounded pressure but can be dragged easily. Hadron h plate is more of a centre pressure and very stable. How long until OCD bites and you get matching rubbers?
  17. Don't see the appeal in them. Tracer yes, tracer with less that make it look like real muzzle flash, no. It's a toy - get rekt.
  18. FFS ordered a suppressor now as well 😂
  19. Getting that way. Not bad for saying when I ordered it 2 days ago I was intending on keeping it stock to see if I liked it or not.
  20. Woodland site near me allows you to use 12G & Magflash. Not the nicest things when you're in a shipping container and one comes round the corner.
  21. Just stuck a short stroke kit on my purchased list as well. Not going to go mental with it as a pistol in full auto quite frankly terrifies me and I'm scared it will drop to bits but a bit snappier on the semi will be a bonus. Will chuck a stronger nozzle spring on my next R8 order and possibly throw a trigger on just for the hell of it.
  22. WE feel they have the "brand" behind it maybe? Almost like an entitlement. Are probably self congratulating in their pistols being "the best available" and hugely unaware of how good competitive products are. From WE perspective, AA must look like crap, relatively smaller brand in comparison, full plastic design, not made a pistol before compared to them, market "leaders" who have been making them for years and of course their product is superior! I would have been interested IF the upper alone was available and it was TM compatible but even then. It's not pretty and it's a WE.
  23. Galaxy-H I think it's being labelled as.
  24. Yes Galaxy G isn't it or something? There is also a 1911 and 2011 lower versions coming out. Could be tempted on the 2011 version of you can fit it to a TM lower.
