    I did catch a snippet yesterday stating that we may have some how managed a free trade agreement, it will be of course at the cost of something Westminster gives zero craps about like fisherman or Ireland but whoop! We get to continue using TG and Gunfire for cheap!!!

      @GAMBLE Ah man that's too bad. If it makes you feel any better I've got an order outstanding from Brill Armory over in the US which was placed in October, made it to Belarus really quickly and has been there for well over a month now?

       

      One advantage of ordering from X-Fire is they charge you for EMS speedpost on every order so you know you're getting it quite quickly.

    I have seen there is a v2 out now, I was quite surprised and very disapointed by the lacklustre reports on these. Knowing how Jason is about his store and in general the calibre of the parts he has offered for the SRS it's a shame that v1 nub wasn't equally as good. Saying that though I think the FOW is the "killer" product in this category so how do you improve on that?

    Boringly practical CM16 SRS with P* Jack. Currently running a ZCI barrel but got a PDI on the way. Outdoor she gets suppressed, indoor tracer goes on. Just a really great all rounder for me.

    X fire are open again so it felt obligatory to order a PDI inner for my HPA G&G.

    It's to do with cylinder to barrel ratio. Ideally you match your cylinder volume to the barrel, no air wasted, no slowdows, perfect exchange. When you run HPA you have a huge cylinder volume so you have an excess amount of air, the air has to go somewhere, this means that the air displaces a lightweight BB easily and then the excess air just is unused and is vented out the barrel, this can cause a bit of turbulence and is a minor issue. The real issue is when you stick heavier ammo in as then that excess air gets utilised in pushing the BB out as it needs more behind it to get it going. That's joule creep. What you experienced with your VSR is the same as the cylinder in a VSR, especially for a Gspec with 303mm barrel, the cylinder volume is larger than the barrel volume. MCG have kind of done the right thing, just expressed it in the wrong way, they want to remove joule creep but instead of chronoing on joules or even the weight you are using and converting down to 350 they have said 330 on a 0.2 which is effectively 1J however 330 on a 0.2 could be abused on a very creepy build with heavier ammo to be above the equvalent of a 0.2 at 350 (which is the AEG limit). Yes in theory you could creep like buggery and get away with it on sites that chrono on a 0.2. I watched someone chrono at NPF with a 0.2 and get 480fps and then stick some .43's through and get 400fps. The guy opted not to use it as he was a decent person BUT the marshall was fine with it (I was like WTF?!?! and clearly there is a hole for education - yes I brought this point up with them - no I didn't ever get a reply). I set my snipers hopup for the correct weight and chrono from there. Even my spiciest sniper does 317 on a 0.48 which I think when you look at a conversion table is about 490 on a 0.2? I'm happy as I won't joule creep, I'm well within site limits and I have a small buffer for a dodgy chrono. I will also be perfectly fine if I go to a site that chrono's correctly in J's as well as a lot of the guys buying Novi SSG's are going to be absolutely on the limit with a 0.2 and will go way over when they go heavy weight.

      I tried the polymer variant previously and it was 'fine'. I know they get a lot of praise, largely for quality versus cost. I've certainly used better (though these were either more expensive, or harder to source), and I've certainly used worse. The part I was least impressed by was the inner belt, which may be more a case of having used what I feel to be much better designed inner belts rather than it being objectively poor. I was toying with trying out the metal buckle version and just using a different inner... but managed to catch myself before falling for the trap of buying something I really don't need because it's cheaper.

      Well, I've already been using my VSR with a Wolverine Bolt and CO2 adapter, but I wanted to try the Mancraft kit too as it doesn't need a battery and is half the price of the Bolt M. Also, this lets me just use an HPA tank and never worry about having to change out those damn CO2 bulbs every few mags. It also dictates that my next big purchase will be a Polarstar engine for one of my m14s, so I can run it as a HPA DMR. Silence, range, semi-auto ROF... I think it'll be my scariest gun. I might keep it at 1J so I don't get the 30m MED as my 1J AEG m14 can out-range most bolties at my local field, but with a regulator I can make that decision easily without having to open up the (horrible) v7 gearbox to swap springs out. Yes, I have 2 m14s, what of it?! xD

    Monster! I'm just waiting for HPA to have the Cyber Monday sale. Going to try and pick up a P* Jack to drop into a CM16-SRS for a bit of a sleeper build. You seen the FPS limits at MCG on HPA? 330fps on a 0.2. They do that so joule creepers can't get above 350 but still, can't help but think "chrono with the right weight BB and go for 1J eh". I'm sure a 1J MTW will still destroy most things out there. Beech corner won't know what's hitting it lol

    More amazing CQB sniper hate cheater DSG gameplay because they thought airsoft was fun with abuse rage quits and fight. Did I do that right? Second part of the morning at Skirmish CQB now up ?

    Thank you, nothing too extravagent but spec list is as follows; I apparently have a PDI barrel in transit (although it's going the long way round the world to get to me), also have some AIP aluminium sights to add to it as well. All running from a Primary HPA adapter.

    Absolutely the best way! Pistols indoor is OP That was a very mild side slant compared to what I was doing at other points in the day, there is a long line down the left side with cover for the enemy in the shape of some barrels but there path to the barrels is behind and right. With a good lean you can bend round the barrels and almost to their spawn!

      The ETU Upgrade Kit I have has been an absolute lifesaver on my ARP-9. Can't recommend that thing enough for all G&G ETU users.

      @Skara I've just installed it and I can't believe how happy I am with it! It allows me to use ALL of my batteries now, the precocking is amazing! Binary is very nice, I feel happier knowing I have lipo alarm and it's also small enough that I can now run 1400 11's in the stock and buffer.
