  1. Absolutely the best way! Pistols indoor is OP That was a very mild side slant compared to what I was doing at other points in the day, there is a long line down the left side with cover for the enemy in the shape of some barrels but there path to the barrels is behind and right. With a good lean you can bend round the barrels and almost to their spawn!
  2. Killed me waiting for today. Had this scheduled since Sunday, hope you enjoy.
  3. After telling myself I wouldn't, I've ordered an ETU++

    Airsoftworld have them in stock.

The ETU Upgrade Kit I have has been an absolute lifesaver on my ARP-9. Can't recommend that thing enough for all G&G ETU users.

@Skara I've just installed it and I can't believe how happy I am with it! It allows me to use ALL of my batteries now, the precocking is amazing! Binary is very nice, I feel happier knowing I have lipo alarm and it's also small enough that I can now run 1400 11's in the stock and buffer.

      Yup.

Mine's now going into my brand new KA PDW as soon as I find a full ETU at a reasonable price.

  4. So many toys ordered. Lockdown v2 is destroying my credit rating.

If your missus finds out it wont be just your credit rating that gets destroyed!!

       Lol 🥴

  5. I am very impressed with it. It's tight enough in places to get the intensity but the middle more open part is so well placed to not make it easy to pass from one end to the other. With the numbers currenlty due to covid as well it feels empty even when everyone is in game. I think it could probably push up to about 10 per side before it started to peak it's numbers.
  6. Yeah, been open about a month or 2 and is 15 mins away from me. Owned by a top bunch who have the well established Skirmish woodland nearby. I've found with a lot of time on my hands recently, YouTube content helped me while away the days, if I can provide even a distraction from boredom I'm super happy. If you do ever head over please do give me a shout, would love to accompany and play shoulder to shoulder with a fellow forum buddy.
  7. I've started a YouTube channel dedicated to my airsoft stuff. I only intended the footage to be clipped together so my kids could see what I do when I go absent from parenting for the day but thought why not stick them on YouTube so I can be immortalised in history as being a nobody? Link to my channel right here First airsoft video I've ever made. Yeah the camera quality could be better (not moaning at £30 cam though) and yes the editing and transitions should be better (not a Vegas genius) but hopefully you watch/like/sub/enjoy it.
  8. Hate waiting for parts from abroad. HK arrived in 1 week. US is 2 weeks and counting 😞

      Zarrin

I only ever order from the US when they are the only country who has something... usually takes a month or so for stuff to arrive and I seem to always get hit by customs with them.

  9. I did a YouTube

Please help me out by dropping a like & sub.

@Skara lol the montage's are coming!! Wantes to get a few gameplay vids up before I upset people with some banging tunes.

@ak2m4 It's brilliant! New site about 15 mins away from me and run by a really well established woodland team. Going to be spending a lot of time down there I think.

  11. Visited the NEW local CQB before it's all locking down. Review here: https://recon101.uk/sites/skirmish-cqb-kirkby-01-11-2020/

  12. Always measure your FPS with the hop set to lift your chosen weight. That way you won't get caught out by joule creep and you can really push up to where you want to be. Do it with the hop set as the seal will vary depending on how much pressure is applied. An example for you, my SRS shoots 317 with a 0.48g (so near 490(ish) fps if you convert it), last time at Matlock I was asked to "test" some eye pro and shot it point blank range however I was asked to shoot it with 0.2's and then following shooting the eyepro was asked to chrono, I went through at 430fps. That's a failry large difference caused by joule creep but if my SRS was shooting about 490 with a 0.2 then in theory I'd be on if not over 550 equivalent with a 0.2. TL;DR Don't worry about chasing 10fps from 480 to 490, make sure you hop and barrel are perfect and you'll get range. Also last time at Matlock I too had an awful morning on the sniper due to overgrown land, swapped to an AEG and had a blast.
  13. Apologies, I completely missed that bit lol Can't you just get a Primary adapter for glock to mp5 mags and run your AAP?
  14. ARP556?? Retains everything you like about the ARP9 but swaps out to the 5.56 platform. It is more or less the same gun. G&G hopups are meh but can be swapped for a ZCI rotary to sort them cheaply. FWIW I recently had a small surplus and was really interested in the ARP series, ended up with a CM16 SRS due to it being similar if not lighter than ARP556 and it costs a lot less. Yeha it has a 7" front end opposed to 5" but if I'm playing in areas that tight I'm on the pistol anyway.
  15. My SRS has hit it's "final" version. This weekend was insane!! As the day wore on the new R-Hop patch bedded it's way in progressively needing less and less pressure to be applied. By the end of the day it was almost at the point where I didn't need to watch the BB fly, if the crosshair was on it, it was gone! SRS A1 GSPEC FAST hop, PDI 370x6.05 inner barrel, DTSS suppressor with internal barrel support (also SBA), Faceless 60deg R-Hop patch, SBA 70deg bucking modified for rhop, Facelss FOW nub, SBA v1.VMP with 1 aluminium collar, Faceless mousefart piston head, Rapax 2J spring with 2 coils removed, Faceless FPS booster ring. 318fps (+/- 1) on a 0.48g (about 2.24/2.26J) with the hop set.
  16. Hate it when you've packed the car and are ready 10 minutes early. Feels like you've forgotton something.

  17. Arrived an hour or so ago. CM16 SRS in Battleship Grey. This is my new "project" gun. Granted it's currently 3rd in line but couldn't resist at the price.
  18. Happy end to my story. SRS arrived this morning. 2 weeks after ordering. I hadn't heard from Extreme, called them up to let them know and put this whole saga to bed. Looking forward to playing with my shiny new toy.
  19. I did try to speak with the courier via the contact page (all phone numbers were automated) as I just wanted to get my parcel. They wouldn't speak to me as the consignment was booked through a 3rd party and referred me to them. I called Extreme up and spoke to Chris who certainly sounded a lot more concerned and said he'd chase it up. An hour later I had a call, parcel is indeed in the Coventry depot and courier are working to get it on track again and will update me tomorrow. Firstly I hope I have it for the weekend. Secondly, I'm a huge believer in a judge of company not being when things are right but how stuff is handled when it goes wrong, up until the phone call today I was starting to think about chargebacks from credit cards. I'm not unreasonable and I prefer to be right with people but I am getting to the point now of just wanting item or refund. Fingers crossed I can put a positive end to this shenanigan.
  20. No and I don't but I can blame them for giving 0 Fs and not trying to remedy the situation.
  21. £420 shipped for something I ordered for £169 last week (and mine's new in single tone battleship grey) 🤣
  22. Mixed experience for me. Ordered a shotgun last month. Arrived no problems. Ordered another item this month. Took a few days to dispatch. Has been in PF depot for about 3 days now with no attempt to deliver it. Emailed yesterday with no response. Called today and told it's not their problem now as it's with Parcelforce and I need to contact them. Doesn't sound quite right. Tried phoning PF anyway as I want my parcel, all automated and nothing along lines of "for lost or delayed" so have gone down the contact form route. Have called them again and said as much and they said they'd try and chase it up from their side. I am awaiting repsonses from both currently.
  23. FWIW don't lube the outside of the cylinder with grease or oil. It will attract grime and dust and just erode away at your cylinder and receiver. The best thing I've found is Muc-Off do a PTFE dry lube product for about £5 which leaves things buttery smooth but is totally dry.
  24. £45 plus postage new now. Last one I piscked up was about £25 delivered second hand.
