  1. @Enid_Puceflange I sold mine last week for £30 delivered (cost me £3.40 for delivery) Don't seem to be able to get them at the moment and yes they are better than stock mk23 suppressors but they're a bit wider and I find they add a fair bit of weight as well.
  2. Safe bet is 60-70% of RRP for the gun. Accessories are mostly just selling points (rather than cash flow generators). Parcelforce would take a RIF for you but I would advise against posting lipos.
  3. G&G ARP556 would probably be the "go toi" option here. The ARP9 is extremely popular indoors due to it's size and weight and the ARP556 is just a 5.56 chambered version of the same gun (although it also has a metal upper). Battery space can be a bit tight, you can get an extension tube cheaply and you "should" be using 11.1v 20C batteries as the built in ETU mosfet can be a little fussy (although I'd swap it for the incredibly easy to install Perun ETU++ (no gearbox opening needed) which allows more flexiibilty with batteries and you get pre-cocking, a must for CQB).
  4. New video day! Going over the Golden Eagle Hi Capa in this one, a very close clone to the TM standard.
  5. 5.1 and 4.3 grips are the same. The difference in length only relates to slide. Therefore beavertail will fit either without issue. Also confirmed with both mine side by side.
  6. So basically almost any order I place with R8 is foobarred now. Oh great joy.
  7. I've messaged asking if there is a rough ETA. I don't mind preordering and them arriving E.O Feb but if it's preorder now to receive in June then I'd rather wait.
  8. I didn't want to add my pessimistic view of when tiers were going to relax but I think you're on the right trak aiming for April. At least then the weather may be better so an outdoor event may be more viable? More people, less internal covid policies etc?
  9. Rainbow8 have suspended shipping to the UK due to our fabulous new strain of COVID restricting flights into and out of the country. If you read their website it's clearly there in the most recent posts. Incredibly annoying as 4.3 Battlecats are due at any time.
  10. I've had 3 maybe 4 orders from X-Fire in Japan last year arrive no problems. No customs, no charges, 1 week turn around. The most recent order, is 2 weeks and counting, got stopped at customs and I've paid £17 import fee (on an order total of £44). How on earth did the government manage to fudge this up so very badly?
  11. £16.74 in customs charges for a pistol inner barrel!!! The saga is nearly over!

Reminds me of when I bought my visionking optic.

€50 optic, almost €50 in customs fees -.-

There is more to this story, it started in August with an order in the US. IT has progressed, taken months, wrong item sent, new order placed from Japan and now customs charges no doubt from some pencil neck who is on point as we've now Brexit'd and is trying to justify his new job role.

  12. Strip, clean, lube, rebuild. It's a 1911 so I would't generally expect much into the mid teens of shots before it needs regassing. If you fill a mag with BB and gas then shoot until it stops, then regas, does it continue to fire?
  13. FFS! Hands up who's sick of COVID19 now?

as well as that, i also have to deal with.... wife a teacher and kids at school.... they should keep them shut until the idiot numbers come out after the illegal NY celebrations and xmas and see where we stand towards end of Jan!.... im also a chairman of local U7 to UI18 football teams and we are still allowed to play games and train....so travel within tiers....which isnt allowed under Government rules....FA are a bunch of muppets!. They also need to halt sport as they have done for over 18s! 🤦‍♂️

Id feel safer out in the field, tales im many meters from people and in control!

  14. For actual weapons and more substantial stuff, stick with the UK. I order a lot of parts from the likes of Rainbow8, X-Fire and Asiaairsoft and they are generally cheaper than UK and so far nothing has hit the border wall but wouldn't want the merriment of trying to liaise a UKARA RIF through or anthing similar. Had more issues getting stuff from US to be honest.
  15. Happily chuntering to myself whilst upgrading the 4.3 with some new shiny lightweight parts from Rainbow8 Santa.
  16. Waffling away whilst installing parts to my 4.3

  17. Have faith 👍 How we looking for numbers?
  18. I did catch a snippet yesterday stating that we may have some how managed a free trade agreement, it will be of course at the cost of something Westminster gives zero craps about like fisherman or Ireland but whoop! We get to continue using TG and Gunfire for cheap!!!
  19. I have a buddy who went to chrono his Novi SSG24 at a site. He intentionally put 0.25's in to lie about the weight he was using (site chrono's with 0.2s) and the dumbass wasn't quick witted enough at chrono to say 0.2's and he said 0.25. They converted it and he was hot so got asked to take it away. He then stuck 0.2's in and re-chrono'd and slid by due to the marignally less joule creep with the lighter ammo and came scurrying back with his coloured zip tie. Promptly loaded said SSG up with 0.46's 😑 We talked him out of using it but I can't help but think site's don't help this situation. I personally ALWAYS chrono on my shooting weight and I know that all of my RIF's are under enough so that nobody dries their teeth when I go through. Christ I crono'd before lockdown and commented that my 0.25's should be hitting about 290 so just under 1J and the marshall replied "we don't use joules here mate". I do feel that marshalls should have some kind of recognised benchmark that covers basics, attitude and some theory rather than just if you want a free game next week.
  20. That's being extremely optimistic. I like the guide that Primary set in that at room temp green is about 110psi, I think I found somewhere on the web that duster is about 80psi as well.
  21. Waited 3 months for an inner barrel from the US and they've sent the wrong one 😠

@GAMBLE X-Fire are awesome and send everything on 7 day EMS speedpost. Even if it takes 2 weeks I don't care. I just want my barrel so I can rebuild my capa.
