  1. Your compressor isn't anywhere near strong enough. The maximum operating pressure is 8 bar. It will fill your 3000psi bottle to 116psi and give up. You'll probably get a handful of shots off, maybe even a mag but the consistency will be awful.
  2. Barrel is a must, the G&G one is just aluminium trash but the green bucking is well worth keeping and reusing. The GC predators are worth getting as they are well finished, all metal and have the nicer orange ifrit motors. Ideal if you intend on keeping it an AEG.
  3. I've had my hands on a mates GC Predator and also my own CM16 SRS. Out of the box they are absolutely fine for a first time RIF. Don't get me wrong, if you sit there with 0.01 shims and really take a day about it I'm sure you could do better but it's really not worth it. Best and most worthwhile upgrades you can do out of the box are a Perun ETU++ and a ZCI stainless barrel.
  4. A good reference is green gas is about 110 psi at room temp. Duster is about 80 psi. I run my capa at 80 and get a really nice stable 0.99J with .25s if it's for a sidearm, I wouldn't bother as the additional line would be more hindrance but high FPS isn't a must for closer work anyway so you would be fine running at 60. You can always put a tighter barrel in the pistol and/or wider in the main to balance things out.
  5. There is still a good amount of time before 27th Feb though.
  6. Brexit is supposed to stop immigrants not Airsoft orders!!!! How much are we betting the people who moan loudest about this voted leave as well?
  7. Mood = Low. Outlook for today = Meh. Then my X-Fire order arrived and I'm all 🤓😎😁🤓😎😁

      Hi @Steveocee! 👋

Lucky you, my orders I planned last month and at the beginning of this month, all refunded due to problems on their end! 🤬😞

Try and get them in 2021! 🤞

      Have fun! 🤪👍

@GAMBLE Ah man that's too bad. If it makes you feel any better I've got an order outstanding from Brill Armory over in the US which was placed in October, made it to Belarus really quickly and has been there for well over a month now?

One advantage of ordering from X-Fire is they charge you for EMS speedpost on every order so you know you're getting it quite quickly.

I shall remember that for the future, thanks for the advice. 🤔👍

  8. Letting your tactics out already 😉 If I know you're up to that I'll keep in mind to spray a few behind me every few steps lol
  9. Lets hope that things don't spiral with this.
  10. FWIW I bought mine from Airsoftworld, they had the "new" ETU++'s in stock for a better price than the older ETU replacements so was well worth it. They literally are as easy as 2 spades and a data connector and you're done, a bit of tinkering around with settings. The pre-cocking is sweeeet and the binary function is a killer!
  11. Give Matt a call at AmmoDrop. He can wrangle some really good pricing on bulk buys.
  12. @DECO290597 ?? I've roped Dave and Bully in, you interested?

  14. I intend to go up in the new year. Very tight indoor site, looks amazing and have watched some gameplay from there (Renegade Airsoft on YouTube) and it's really inspired me to make the trip. Looks like pistol play would be OP.
  15. I have seen there is a v2 out now, I was quite surprised and very disapointed by the lacklustre reports on these. Knowing how Jason is about his store and in general the calibre of the parts he has offered for the SRS it's a shame that v1 nub wasn't equally as good. Saying that though I think the FOW is the "killer" product in this category so how do you improve on that?
  16. @Asomodai That's crazy! I hope SBA do accept liability, reimburse you for everything you've bought (jig included) and send you all replacement parts and a swag bag as well. Would you be a monster and document this on the SRS owners forum? https://srsowners.com ?
  17. Boringly practical CM16 SRS with P* Jack. Currently running a ZCI barrel but got a PDI on the way. Outdoor she gets suppressed, indoor tracer goes on. Just a really great all rounder for me.
  18. X fire are open again so it felt obligatory to order a PDI inner for my HPA G&G.
  19. That's me plus my two bodyguards paid up and ready to go! Nobody is going to get offended by a green with pink and gold glitter mask are they?
  20. At the top end yes ideally if shortening your inner barrel your match your cylinder to that to avoid over voluming, get a slight ROF increase and a slightly more accurate shot as well as less creep. I'd stay worrying about that after you get it looking like you want though as that's a full gearbox out job and a totally different can of worms. Yes with the XT kit you pick the outer barrel parts you need to make the desired length you want. They screw together on a -14mm thread. This is where your inner barrel would then stick out to full length so would need replacing as well.
  21. @Robert James I am defo up for coming down to this. Let me check/confirm with a buddy who may be interested as well and will PM you 👍
  22. Congrats on fixing that. I agree Facebook can be a real pain because people don't read everything you write. Too easy to be an opinionated moron lol. As an aside to your problem, I heat shrink the Sears and remove the half cock to make trigger pull smoother and quieter, means it all gets taken apart and rebuilt with my OCD quality control then lubed and greased to buggery as it's reassembled. Yet to use mine since it was rebuilt with an edgi barrel (yes it cost twice what the base stti did).
  23. What you are wanting to do is relatively easy, it's just parts compatiblity. Swapping an outer barrel isn't difficult but it's not as easy as breathing. Are you wanting to shorten your outer as well or just bring the outerbarrel back into it? If it were me, I'd just bring the outer into your existing one as this would remove a large cost (in the form of a new handguard) and remove more complications of which will fit. You will likely need a new inner barrel as well. For these parts, definitely make your way over to Pete's at @ak2m4, a full set can be bought here https://www.ak2m4.co.uk/external-parts/outer-barrels/xt-outer-barrel-aeg-set which will allow you to customise the length of the outer. He also carries ZCI inner barrels which are a must if you are using the stock G&G aluminium sorry excuse for a barrel. You'll gain a tidy boost in accuracy and also FPS with those ZCI barrels. Definitely doable, don't try to research exact parts for everything in advance, it won't happen, they don't list compatiblity how you'd want them to, buy the first bit that fits the bill, then buy the next to fit that one and go from there. I transformed a very boring looking 008 from this; to this for less than £30 (granted not an XT outer barrel set as I knew my rail was 7" so bought a 5.5" outer barrel, 128mm inner barrel and 130mm suppressor. She looks even better now as well with a CTR style stock, no vertical grip and goes like the clappers with a set of ZCI HD 16:1's inide.
  24. It's a pistol, it only needs to shoot the med if you have one. Yes I have an mk23 that can flick a 0.4 further then my buddies 416 A5 (much to my glee).
  25. I am fresh from slapping an engine in an AEG and I have to say the whole process was completely painless. I did do some research in advance for an ideal AEG for my needs, to suit me and my play style and for some experiences with said base gun. Cylinder replacement in, all lined up perfectly, just need to tweak some settings but it was a great introduction for me personally. I have the gun I wanted with the setup I wanted. Roll on 13th to christen her.
