Lol amazing, I'm due a trip over to see Kyle soon to pick up a magwell. Trying to delay it to fit in with picking up the cat 😂

Matt at AmmoDrop is always worth a shout.

Meanwhile I've been speaking with Matt from Makeit3D today about getting one of these made up to his exacting standards. https://primaryairsoft.us/collections/glock/products/4-3-outer-barrel-with-threads

Supposedly some have already been shipped to the US (or so a US retailer has said). Usually AM drop an image on their social media and they're available that day from the stockists. The 4.3 Battlecat push has been a little unique in the way they have approached it. I'm hearing rumbles of April, not sure early or late but April has been mentioned by a couple of informed people and giving a couple of weeks for HK to ship to US sounds about right. I think the long and short of it is to look at a 5.1 battlecat and imagine it smaller, suppsedly they've been shaped for the 3.8 frame so on a 4.3 they'll look good (straight lines where your frame is) but if you run a 3.8 frame you'll have a cutaway like the 5.1's do.

Set up a direct debit to hi capa hub now 😂 Take no notice of the high kick, it's a perfect base to build from and not being over charged which is a bonus.

Small update on where I am with my little channel and where I want to go with it. Over the last week I've invested in a proper GoPro to improve the quality of the footage on my videos, the £30 Apeman just isn't cutting it any more and I've also upgraded my video editor software and brought that up to date as well (Magix/Sony/Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum is currently only £30 for anyone interested). With regards to the footage, the last however many weeks have been fun going over the technicals and spec lists of my weapons and I've not really started on my "primary" weapons yet but as we are now less than a month away from getting back out there I will be swinging my focus towards some honest gameplay footage, no hit marker stuff, just honest POV of some of the game situations and sites I go to with the odd montage added in for when there has been a fast paced CQB session. Speaking of which... there is now another CQB due to open up within 20 minutes of where I live which is going to give me a nice variance of location especially when tied in to my montly "big" outing with the rest of the Recon101 guys. My channel has already hit my first self imposed milestone and has surpassed 50 subscribers, not sure how or why given most of the content is me ranting about how shite Golden Eagle pistols are but thank you to those already subbed and for anyone reading and who isn't yet, please do give me a sub as I would really like to make it to 100 subs before summer. Overall I'm super exctied to be getting back out next month and given how much turmoil is caused online by clickbaited videos, false claims of many descriptions and the general focus on promoting "angst". I am looking forward to reflecting a true airsoft experience even if it doesn't get my views into the thousands. A lot of love going out to "my guys" @Flintlock @DECO290597 - can't wait to get back out as a group again and a strong nod in the direction of @KJB as I can't wait for us to start hitting up the CQB's locally and causing a ruckus! 😎

I don't know if this is showing my age a little but I know I have already poured hours of my life into playing Diablo 2 and the Lord of Destruction expansion pack and with Blizzard announcing that there is a remastered version on the cards I have completely pre-ordered hoping for a nostalgia+1 experience. Any other players about who are just as hyped?

Changed things up a bit this week. Different camera (better) and differnt mic (worse) and just a short update on the progress of the Golden Match

Ordered a GoPro8. It's kind of airsoft oriented as I will use it if nothing else to record what airsoft is like for me so for the next 6 months of no action I can at least see myself playing it lol -
I had a similar thing a long time ago. I questioned something and 5 days later had no response. Then again around Cyber Monday I saw they were doing the traditional P* shagout so swallowed deep and ordered and it arrived really quickly with no delay. Absolutely agree. When things are good they're good but getting hold of them isn't easy. On balance I judge companies 49% for the good times but 51% on how they handle "non straight forward stuff". Sounds like they're as bad as ever at responding.

Hype is building. Can't wait to see yours!

I like it but I don't all at the same time. I like how adaptable the AAP is and how it isn't the ugliest kit I've ever seen but just cant help but feel this kind of thing detracts from the usability of an AAP as the pistol it is.

Mike is fine if you just want to order and buy something. My exchanges with him are mostly very brief and usually he delivers what I want/need. The times I have had a problem he's eventually resolved it but not without a bit of assertiveness from my side. Appreciate you currently have a new gun from Mike and to be honest it should go back to him to test and confirm working (although I'd be shocked if he'd sent it without this step first) then there is a brilliant alternative now in the shape of Hi Capa Hub I've met Kyle face to face and he's a proper chill guy, was as excited about his own hi capa and projects as you would be piecing them together and where I consider Mike one of the "old school" type sellers, Kyle is the "up to date" version and has a real drive to go forward and do more as well. He's also a proper skirmisher as well which makes you a lot more comfortable. Sometimes I feel my "skirmish" requirements were a bit of a burden to Mike taking his time from "real" IPSC types.

Anything WE based is fine. You "can" use TM ones but the gas router is concave whereas on WE it is flat so you lose some gas runnning TM ones.
-
Yes it is a touch bottom heavy at the moment. May swap the mag case for a guarder aluminium to see if I can lose some weight. I bet it's because I copy/pasted from my Google photos. Will upload properly tomorrow.
-
Say Shhhh to those loud fill TM mags with this little add on

Thank you @Skara for the words of encouragement. Seems an amount of dremeling resulted in me achieving my goal.

Installed the charging ring and flared magwell last night. removed a short stroke and I think it just about solved the feeding issues. Bit low I can only use 1 buffer but to be fair it's plenty fast enough as it is anyway. got a bit of an issue in that the primary adapter doesn't fit with the magwell so need to "adjust" one of them but not sure which. Any ideas?
-
Correct. Stock barrel is 129mm from what I can find and PDI have copied this, you can get away with a 130mm but I wouldn't want anything more without a suppressor or tracer.
-
PDI barrel arrived this morning. What a beauty she is as well! Even has the oring at the end to ensire it's centered correctly and ideal length of 129mm. Strange how the ZCI was only 1mm longer but seemed to sit so much further forward. Anyway, installed it this evening and couldn't help but do a quick test fire. Again at 80psi I was getting roughly 300fps with a 0.25 which is about perfect for what I want. I have noticed though a fairly bad feeding problem only getting about 1 in every 3 or 5 shots a BB comes through. When I strip down for the nozzle valve spring I'll look into this more closely but did also notice the flow valve in the mag is leaking as well so that's going to get pulled out, lubed and then likely upgraded.
-
Keep telling myself no more but I've just bought a black CNC magwell and charging handle to "finish it off". Will update with pics when they arrive.
-
No that was my amazing Chinese brand phone not autocorrecting scree to screw. Screw, I've had to use Guarder screws as the TM ones just didn't like the Guarder casings.
-
Those guarder mag cases are a game changer aren't they? Made carrying 3 spare mags on my belt less of a nightmare and more of a not noticing they're there. Interesting you've had to modify feed lips though, mine have been fine but I did have problems with the big scree through the middle, I resorted to using guarder versions as I rounded 2 TM ones off. Guarder case on a primary adapter makes a good combo 😉

At least you know if someone pulls out a minigun you don't need to run.
