Quick midweek pre-CQB day excitement!

Rounding things off for my current armoury, this weeks video was my beloed Silverback SRS. I currently have some woodland footage (not a lot of action) and am due to hit up a CQB in 3 days so hoping for a lot of action to switch up the content a bit for you all. A lot of love to the people of the forum supporting me. Huge shout out to @GAMBLE for featuring me on his latest video, I will be repaying the favour once I get an apt opportunity brother.

For small and tight indoors like Hells or Kirkby Skirmish, most of the time an extended 50rnd HPA tapped would be fine. rounds are short and you don't tend to shoot that much even if you try hard. When I played Kirkby I used a 140rnd midcap each round and still only magged out once in the day so for me Primary would be the go to. Drum mag is fine if you want to play it as a primary and just not reload at any point.

New video! I'm giving a low down on my CM16 P* build. I absolutely love this rifle, it's well built, fires far and straight and is a pleasure to use.

What kind of distance were you engaging from? I'm playing NPF next weekend which is quite an open field with long engagement distances. Tempted to stick my primary in but distance bothers me.

This weeks is showing love for a new part for the Heresy build. I have another part on my bench at the moment but that's being kept quiet until I am given the green light to start shouting about it.

Make sure you stick some tissues in your bag for when people cry over getting shot with a HPA pistol with an M4 mag lmao

Keep hold of them. Will come in handy when you make the move to HPA. (That's a when, not an if).

I too have recently found Kyle at HCH. Absolutely top bloke and I'm lucky enough to live relatively local to him so have a game day booked with him soon as well. Really takes pride in his work and the items he reccommends. No tat in this shop. I really do hope this becomes a big thing for him, he's putting the work in.

Where is the line? GBB pistol tapped? Mechanical semi only engines? Electro pneumatic based? I have one of each and they make me happy so I couldn't give a monkeys what anyone else thinks.

Indoor hi capas rule. I can only speak from Kirkby experience but there was no situation where I felt outgunned with a pistol over a team of guys with AEG ARs

In a huge turn around this week. The AAP has gone! I've actually managed to book some more game days in May (although June & July will be slack due to other reasons) and I've been able to get a video out of my base for the latest project: Heresy

Didn't realise Hells had an upper ammo limit. I know The Dept do which is why I won't run higher than a .25 indoors (so I can set my guns up and leave them knowing they'll be fine wherever). I even offloaded my AAP yesterday as I just CBA with it and I am constantly finding myself preferring my capas. Happy days as the cash covers the outlay for the 4.3 Battlecat leftover parts.

Capas I chuck 25 no matter where I am, if I pull pistol outdoor it's within med so range isn't needed. Indoors then weight isn't needed. If I run primary capa outdoor then it's 28s for ease/cost and again it's mostly places with shorter engagements.

Yes I have quite a few parts due from him as well. Am very tempted to get a frame for the 4.3 as well now 🤔

You have no idea! I'm incredibly thankful. He's always been good both products and service but this is off the hook!

@Alimcd @leadly Indeed it is MakeIt3D - I've had 2 of his outer barrels and they are AMAZING. Tolerances are extremely tight. I asked him to make me a 4.3 outer barrel with external threads (so I can run a 5.1 inner barrel) on my Battlecat build which is currently in production but as you do you get chatting and having a spare 4.3 knocking about Matt asked if I'd like to trial one of the new slides. Obviously I did a backflip at the chance lol. I'm booked in at Hells Airsoft (Stenson Fields) which is a new CQB site on May 18th from 9am to 10pm so it should get a bloody good testing then.

Aluminium slides are hard to find. Plenty of 3d printed about. I'm just waiting on a prototype from someone about to launch some. Expecting BIG things.

Personal preference at the end of the day. I can't do a comparison to an Mk23 as I sold both of mine. 4.3 Vs 5.1 isn't an argument to be had. Parts are virtually the same for both, the ONLY thing that is hard to find for 4.3's are slides and if you run a 4.3 with a 120% recoil spring on green then either will be fine on all but the very hottest of days. 5.1 makes more FPS due to barrel length. 4.3 has slightly less chance of splitting it's slide stock (they're a bit thicker in the polymer). Personally - I use a 4.3 as my sniper side arm and 5.1(s) as indoor primary. None are stock. A lightweight BBU is a fantastic upgrade. 4.3 All black edition from fire Support for £115 is a killer deal!
