  2. I don't usually like getting metal slides for my TM pistols because I love how efficient the plastic slides are... but my hi-capa slide snapped at the front when the front sight was ripped out by some very determined brambles that I was wading through (the bottom part of the Worthing Airsoft site is basically unplayable at the moment...) So my hi-capa now has a metal slide. Surprisingly snappy still on green gas at room temperature thanks to the lightweight blowback unit and probably feels the best to shoot due to the fact it's still snappy but the metal slide has some weight to it; might get a bigger recoil spring, but we'll see. Will be running it on propane anyway, so here's hoping it'll be fine in the winter too.

  3. By the time a Navy pilot pulled into a little town, every hotel room was taken. "You've got to have a room somewhere," he pleaded. "Or just a bed, I don't care where." "Well, I do have a double room with one occupant, a Marine pilot," admitted the manager, "and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I'm not sure it'd be worth it to you." "No problem," the tired Navy pilot assured him. "I'll take it." The next morning the Navy Pilot came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. "How'd you sleep?" Asked the manager. "Never better." The manager was impressed. No problem with the other guy snoring, then?" "Nope, I shut him up in no time." Said the Navy pilot. "How'd you manage that?" asked the manager. "He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room, I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, 'Goodnight, beautiful,' ...and he sat up all night watching me."

  4. Buy a chrono!!!!!!!! Until you know what the energy is, you cannot make an informed decision as to which spring to use. However, I suspect that an M100 would probably be ok, or possibly not. As you have extended the barrel, did you also change the cylinder? I am not sure which cylinder the UTR comes with, but, if the porting is wrong for the longer barrel, you might see a drop in power.

Mag - £40 Lower - £150 / £200 Bolt - £100 That’s about the average I’d say, you could shift them quicker going lower but it’s not worth it. I guarantee you will get messages straight away by somebody we all know with some low ball offers, hold firm on your pricing.

  8. An option for the ar platform instead of the hop unit spring is some o-rings around the inner barrel in front of the hop, you gotta play about to get the right number. Side benefit is it'll put some tension between the upper and lower reducing wobble.

It's the Gunsmith Bros XCarry 5.1 slide. I didn't like a lot of the metal slides because they just looked a bit too... much? I like my simple guns, so all the metal slides with holes all over them and weird geometric patterns... no thank you

“All in” means postage and fees are included Its laziness on the sellers side to ask buyers to work out what to pay, plus it can mean that the seller receives less than expected when a buyer adds on the PayPal percentage without realising that the rate has to be reverse engineered from the total including fees If a buyer pays the asking price of £210 you would receive £203.61 If you want to receive £210 then ask for £216.58 Alternatively round the asking price up or down https://www.clothnappytree.com/ppcalculator/

  19. A GIRLS FIRST TIME As you lie back your muscles tighten. You put him off for a while searching for an excuse, but he refuses to be swayed as he approaches you. He asks if you're afraid and you shake your head bravely. He has had more experience, but it's the first time his finger has found the right place. He probes deeply and you shiver; your body tenses; but he's gentle like he promised he'd be. He looks deeply within your eyes and tells you to trust him-he's done this many times before. His cool smile relaxes you and you open wider to give him more room for an ease of entrance. You begin to plead and beg him to hurry, but he slowly takes his time, wanting to cause you as little pain as possible. As he presses closer, going deeper, you feel the tissue give way; pain surges throughout your body and you feel the slight trickle of blood as he continues. He looks at you concerned and asks you if it's too painful. Your eyes are filled with tears but you shake your head and nod for him to go on. He begins going in and out with skill but you are now too numb to feel him within you. After a few moments, you feel something bursting within you and he pulls it out of you, you lay panting, glad to have it over. He looks at you and smiling warmly, tells you, with a chuckle; that you have been his most stubborn yet most rewarding experience. You smile and thank your dentist. After all, it was your first time to have a tooth pulled. You filthy minded feckers 😉

    M16A1 low fps - theory?

Update: The spring on the hop unit was making the hop unit sit at a slightly funny angle. Removed it and the fps is up to 271 (.25g again), which seems to be the average if Gavins JG and my other m16 is any indication.

    G&G LevAR 15

It's been really great the way that AIrsoftWorld have handled this, and I hope they don't get hung out to dry by G&G. However, my primary concern is owners, who are out £400 for a paperweight that they've been told not to use until-and-if a fix is rolled out, while the clock is running on their right to reject. And a gen 1 (or 2 or 3 or 4) fix for gen 1 problems is often pushed out by marketing rather than engineering, so I'd be hesitant to trust anything rolled out in haste now. Frankly, I'd hope to see a recall of all guns sold, and (at minimum) a retailer fix applied. Because if they send out new grips to owners, and they still fail, then it might become a "Well, you must have fitted it wrong" wrangle. The longer you hang onto it, the harder it'll be to get your money back. tl;dr - if I'd bought one, it would be on the way back for a refund, no reasons given. Which suck for retailers, but it sucks more for owners.

  27. ATTENTION ALL G&G LEVAR OWNERS! THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR RIFLE. It has come to our attention that there is a serious design flaw in the G&G LevAR rifles - both sizes. The pistol grip is breaking and disconnecting the gas line that travels from the gas tank within the pistol grip and into the main receiver. If gassed and under pressure, this can happen with an explosive release of the pressure, so please DO NOT use or mess about with your rifle. We were notified two days ago of a customers rifle 'exploding' as it was lifted from its box immediately after delivery. As we have not yet received that rifle back, we were not sure what had caused this failure and were hoping that it had been damaged in transit by the delivery courier. Around 5 mins ago, we've had two customers at the same airsoft site with the exact same failure. First use of the rifle and they both failed after a small impact. All three of these were the LONG 15" version but the grip is the same on the shorter 7" and although the shorty doesn't have the associated weight and leveraged forces of having the full stock and longer top receiver, there is still a risk of the same thing happening if you impact it hard enough. One rifle was propped on its stock and slid sideways, landing flat on the ground. The other was accidentally dropped to the ground from waist height whilst standing in the safe zone. Both pistol grips shattered and instantly released the gas as the line connection disconnected. Please bear with us as we are not open again until Tuesday (we have always been shut on Mondays) and we will contact YOU. So please do not start sending us emails, texts and everything else you want to throw at us, including the LevAR's We cannot get hold of G&G until Monday, and although I'm fairly sure they must already know about this failure we need to discuss a solution in order to resolve this quickly. PLEASE PASS THIS ON

Selling as I don’t have a need for two shotguns. I bought two shotguns and swapped parts over to build my perfect shotgun build. I put the remaining parts together to make this. The main body is Golden Eagle and then the rest of the gun is Tokyo Marui, including the gas system in the butt stock. The stock and pump grip are ex two tone. Feel free to ask me any questions.

  31. I've been using leaf suit ghillies since 2004 and made the very first Chinese leaf suit ghillie. So I was using what is seen everywhere now, long ago. Back then it gave massive advantage to our group as we were playing a different games type to everyone else and no one was used to looking for well crafted ghillies. You went unnoticed more often. Things have changed, just as my group said they would if our suits became mainstream. We said , it would change the game. You see we had already changed the game and all players used these light mesh leaf suits and played total Stealth game. Our game, called hunteering had evolved from our hard-core airsoft club that had run since 1991 and all our events were based around Stealth and fieldcraft. We developed better suits than traditional heavy designs and made a game where every player used a bolt action and Pistol and handfull of ammo that lasted several days, by yourself. It was the pinnacle of what we love the most .... the stalk ..... being hunted .. navigation ..... hard routine and total immersion in nature. Anyway, we said it would change skirmish/airsoft if aspects of our game and equipment became mainstream. However I agree that ghillies should be limited to only bolt action snipers, in the interest of gameplay. Why? For the reasons you give at the top. Bolt action is the most disadvantaged airsoft gun on the field ..... long MED ...no follow up shot.. small mags ...... expensive ..... most technical to setup well....... have to be stationary to stand a chance of hitting someone..... that's why we play with them. They provide the hardest challenge. My group don't do DMRs as we kind of see them as too high a rate of fire to provide the same experience ... you can walk fore onto targets etc lay down rounds while moving .... big mags .... hi semi auto rof..... etc etc I guess we see it as cheating tbh lol So make a bolty player more specialised as a Sniper by allowing him a full ghillie. Maybe DMR can use a jacket only? AEG player can have a ghillie hat only? But that is if you want a balanced game .. which skirmish isn't.... its a pay to win environment due to lack of limits around equipment and ammo. As is, there is no penalty for putting down 100 rounds at someone in 3 seconds. It's a fraction of a mag. Our own game identifies all the limitations that we could use to create a better, more balanced/skillful environment. That is what our "underground sport" is about ...... getting what we want from the time/money invested in the activity. As is, airsofters are moving towards hose pipes you can quickly walk into target without even needing sights and liberally hose that area down till one bb hits. Personally I want more from my game than that. Airsoft is essentially hide and seek ... and tag. You can't blame people for finally realising that hiding is how you win. However, as you say would you rather skirmish is about hide and seek or more about tag?

  33. Why is filmsim or milsim any different? I do Vietnam filmsim games every year at Gunman and I'm not seeing why a ghillie at a skirmish is any different to my time-appropriate scrim-net-covered-in-ferns-and-stuff approach at Vietnam games. At the end of the day, it all comes down to slinging plastic balls at each other with toy guns and trying to remain undetected. I'd argue that milsim has more concerns with concealment than ghillie suits alone because people own thermal imaging equipment and tend to bring them to milsims. Nobody would be foolish enough to do so at a skirmish though, because imagine if your multi-thousand pound piece of equipment gets shot out by a rental spraying full auto at you 😂

  35. Okay, and the point of a ghillie is to move through an observed area unseen, so I'm not sure what you point is. And that's the use case of military issued camouflage clothing, not all camouflage.

  37. Ah imagine before too long all Airsoft fields across the nation quiet and peaceful. Not because nobody goes Airsofting anymore, no, because everyone is a secret squirrel sniper and hiding in a bush or a tree in their KMCS. Make sure to bring a flask 😀

  38. I think sniping should be age regulated. Make it for the over 60 age group. That would limit the numbers and speaking for myself I'm not as fast as I used to be so it would be a much more relaxed game for me. I don't mind paying £30 to lay down, take a shot now and again, have a nap in between times and shoot a few more leaves. I could come home from a game without injuries and feeling refreshed. Sounds good to me lol. The above is just light hearted not a serious suggestion. 👍 Regards

  40. if you are using a ghillie suit on a saturday or sunday skirmish , you misunderstand the concept of camouflage completely, if you are using it to hide and get close range kills , you misunderstand the concept of camouflage completely .
