Well, just cos I'm not supposed to do any exercise while my knee(s) get sorted, doesn't mean I can't exercise my digits and purchase some airsoft kit, does it? So I've snaffled a couple of good things from the Action Hobbies boneyard... a large hard case for the princely sum of £12 (it's a bit tired and shabby, but it'll still do the job), and something I've wanted for a while.... an SLR! Well, a FAL. Well, a FAL carbine. But it's still a thing of beauty all the same 😍 A JG 3000 SA/LK 58 with 4 (count 'em) hi-cap mags. And it's been upgraded... a high rate-of-fire compared to my other JG guns, even on a 7.4v. It's allegedly got a Gate Aster hidden inside. But.. yeah, it's a boneyard gun - so it's not perfect - 2 of the hi-cap mags seem a bit buggered so they'll be conjoined into a single working (hopefully), and more importantly the single shot mode is a bit iffy. It's usually fine, but every now and again it won't fully cycle. Still shoots on the next trigger pull. Maybe the Aster wasn't quite set up properly? I'll set up a new thread for tech advice on that. In the meantime I just love the heft of this (metal receiver), and the look of it of course2 points -

Picked up a Lite Sport the other week for my lad so he could try bolt action gaming without having to lend him one of my (expensive) rifles. I built it up with a 100N spring (a 120N for 2.3J is included too) and other than dropping a suppressor on the end of it, it's stock on 0.40g ammo. He's left eye dominant but right handed so can't use a glass scope. We popped on a basic red dot, zeroed it in and then took it to the site for a game. It was phenomenal fun - just under 2J with the 100N spring but absolutely laser like up to about 60m which is perfect for the red dot. With it being ridiculously light he was able to stay really mobile - proper shoot and scoot stuff. He caused utter carnage on the flanks. For less than 200 quid I can't imagine a better, more practical airsoft rifle full stop, it really is that good. These will sell well - I think the VSR platform is done...2 points

Has NPAS and AMG winter hammer and buffer springs fitted; I'll include the original springs too. Fit with DNA A1 Field Expedient foregrip. Spring powered M14 Socom. Polymer body. Not sure about the brand Test fired at 343 fps Unfortunately, the rifle dropped during transportation and caused a crack on the rod catch and the edge of the buttplate (see pics). I glued them back. The cracks are not too visible and the file still cocks and fires well. Although I won't recommend it to be used in games. Comes with one metal high-cap magazine. Rifle: £20 Shipping + PayPal fee: £10£20

It never even crossed my mind to be honest - Hopefully this'll solve my issues. Definitely a fun learning experience though!1 point

Nice! I reckon the vent in your current one is too far forward so it'll limit the max FPS you're going to achieve. Worth a try at least!1 point

I found a solid one in a parts box I can experiment with, see if it improves along with the new compression parts1 point

Yep, I'd look at changing that to either one with just a notch at the very back or one without a vent at all. Why do scuba divers always fall backwards into the water? If they fell forwards they would still be in the boat.1 point -
If anything the lips on the ML rubber are longer than the OEM one. I highly doubt the overall shorter length is causing a leak though.1 point
-
There's plenty of "compatible" parts online, the main issue you'll have is that all the sling plates you'll find are aimed at a more standard style of upper receiver instead of the blocky design of your Specna. Other than that, literally any AEG buffer tube should fit and then the world is your oyster for stocks. Note that PTS is a brand, not a type of stock. Pictures would help here.1 point

https://prefired.co.uk/ads/vorsk-hi-cappa-5-1-mag-and-holster-and-a-green-gas-container-only-used-twice/ "ONLY USED TWICE" Apparently the holster and green gas bottle push up the value to just £10 shy of retail for the base Vorsk pistol. With the leaking mag, it might be an easy fix but don't surprise yourself if it or the pistol Amber Heards itself by the winter.1 point

Nothing fancy, just an AliExpress clone of the Haley mp2 triple insert. Holds metal mags adequately without making it Excalibur-like impossible to extract. Also makes it less difficult to reinsert mags compared to the spiritus style elastic sandwich.1 point

Can't blame a buyer for wanting a good deal, especially when you consider they're taking all the risks, lack of warranty etc. But the dreamers wanting rrp, OR SOMETIMES MORE, for a worn gat that they'll swear has only been plinked in the garden, 🤣 yeah right. They're just greedy cnuts, or at least they would be if anyone was stupid enough to fall for their sales pitch of "honest blud, never skirmished, only plinked in back garden, but it's a laser, easily hitting 150 metres" (in his back garden🤔)1 point

This will be the first rifle I have bought since the Ares RDB on first release. (Maybe 2 and a half years ago?) As you may know, I went from having 36 rifles and pistols, now down to just 5 rifles and 3 pistols (With one of those rifles and one pistols for sale) in preparation for a potential move to Spain. But a chance to get a brand new one of these, which has been a rifle that eluded me for a long time. Now I finally have one! LCT AKMSU. It's teh sxe. I know it's very marmite, but I have always loved the Glory Hole Foregrip and the underfolder look. Gearbox is shimmed nicely from the factory. It's one of the more recent LCT Quick Change spring ones. Changed over motor to XT Neo High torque. Slightly louder than the stock motor but still pretty damn quiet. Front sight post was pissed so hit it with a mallet to get it more in line, hopefully it will stay in that position. Firing at 327fps at the mo. Most I will do with it now is put a steel barrel and new hop rubber in it. If I get this and my others overseas when the time comes, I might have to turn this into an angel build and just stick a tonne of unnecessary and ridiculous upgrades into it. The underfolder has the typical up and down wobble once fully unfolded. But it's not that bad at all. Cant wait to field this!1 point -
