  1. A man was riding a bus, minding his own business, when the gorgeous woman next to him started to breastfeed her baby. The baby wouldn't take it, so she said, "Come on sweetie, eat it all up or I'll have to give it to this nice man next to us”. Five minutes later, the baby was still not feeding, so she said, "Come on, honey. Take it or I'll give it to this nice man here”. A few minutes later, the anxious man blurted out: "Come on kid. Make up your mind! I was supposed to get off four stops ago"

I know that you were not; my comment was intended to point out that your "flavouring" argument was somewhat flawed. Penalising innocent people because other people are tempted to commit crimes is perverse and is essentially an act of surrender to the criminals. I don't use BFGs. However, watching, and providing covering fire for, the lad as he works his way through a village armed with two BFGs and a pistol is like watching Messi at his peak; training wins every time. I suspect that he would still play if he could not use them, but why should he have to give up using them because some thieving cunts cannot keep their hands off other people's property?

    Hi from France (baguette)

Hello everyone, Greetings from France, so sorry for the mistakes and the bad english. I played my first "airsoft game" 17 years ago if I remember correctly... I owned lots of replicas through years, mostly GBBr and gas powered (G&P WOC, WA M16, GHK AKM, M700 KJW, M870 Tanaka...) but had to sell them to try new things or to get money back, 2019 was a hard year with no job for example so I sold mostly all my replicas. Currently life is going a lot better and I bought news replicas during last months, including "guns" I have been looking for a long time. For example VFC M733 GBBr, Ares L1A1 SLR or VFC KAC SR-16 AEG. But my girlfriend is turning a bit angry because of all the news "guns" I am buying during a short time and storing into my office, she likes airsoft too and plays sometimes with me but she says I have too many replicas. 😅 During the past I worked as a props maker / production designer, and costumes maker. I then went back to school to study traditional and digital illustration, I try to draw with a little Wacom tablett with Photoshop. So my other hobbies (beside drawing and watching movies, things lots of peoles do) includes model kits, mostly 1/72e WWII vehicles and planes, some movie / video games editing or roaming around doing silly stuff Online with friends on GTA, Minecraft, MudRunner or Garry's Mod. So yes, as you can tell, I am a nerd. I registered here because I found some very interesting replicas in the "Classified" part of the forum, that are very difficult to find in France. See you later on the forum 👋

I probably wouldn't give up completely but I'd be looking around for a new site. A ban due to thefts would only punish innocent players while allowing the culprit off scott free which would only encourage them to do it again Same here. Probably by not giving them my custom

    Magwells for Marui 1911s

Seems there must be no demand at the moment, given the total lack of stock everywhere? I've gone about 10 pages deep on google, all I can see are the horrible looking AIP versions. I'm very close to just buying a couple of Strike warriors, swapping MSHs to the guns I want the mag wells on and selling the strikes at a loss (if anyone wants a discount on one, drop me a dm). If anyone's got any alternatives I'd love to hear them please.

  10. At £100 you can definitely pick up Warrior Plate Carriers if you're patient enough. If you're lucky they'll even come with all or some pouches.

  11. I think your geometric pattern turned out really well. I've not used it personally but one of the lads at work swears by Frog tape when decorating as you wet the edge once you've applied it and it creates a better seal. That should prevent and bleeding under the tape.

    LPVO Choices - Advice

I was looking at the Vector Optics Forestor Gen 2 1-5. I tried it out at PatrolBase and really liked it. But before I could buy it I played a game, stumbled over a root that was sticking out and fell flat on the ground with my gun in front of me. If I would have had a scope on it there would have been a good chance that it would have broken. That convinced me to spend £70 more and get a Vortex Crossfire 2 1-4 as the Vortex Warranty would have covered that accident.

    Gun picture thread

The rifle in the vid is the colt model 715. Later known as the C7. I built mine a few years ago with help from Jonathan ferguason. He's helped me out with my 604 too. Got another project he's helped with in the pipe line too haha. Just to bore you about hahaha. The 715 in the video is very unique. It has mainly A2 features. But the upper is odd. It has an A1 rear sight, but has a A2 brass deflector. Also another M16 A2 with the auto selection. Was originally bought by the sas, but is now in use with pathfinders, paras and royal marines. Here's the one I built while back.

    Gun picture thread

So another British rifle added to the collection. To most its nothing special. "Just another M16vn"..... But here I have started to build a colt model 604. As issued to the British army in the late 60s, early 70s. Now the 604 is something of a Frankensteinian. It's neither a M16VN (XM16) or the later M16A1 (model 602). Main differences are compared to either the xm16 (VN) or the 602 (M16A2). The 604 comprises of a xm16 stock with a pivoting sling mount. Not the static version fitted to the later model 602. It also sports a partial fence. The XM16 was known as a slab side, where the 602 was a Full Fence. It also comes with an A1 barrel but still uses the early 3 prong (duck bill) flash hider. The British version also came with just plain export markings, aswell as being painted black with a paint called Suncorite. Now mine is still a work in progress. Ive had the markings filled. I'm still to source the correct rear sling mount, as well as the chromo smooth fake bolt. I then tried to replicate the suncurite paint best I could. As the real paint was just slapped on. I tried the same but in the pics looks smoother than it actually is. Only other thing is slings. Early version came with AR15 slings. But very quickly guys swapped these out for SLR slings. So will look at that in the future too. Next up. A British colt model 701. To most its just a M16A2.... It is, but not quite. Main difference being, the fire selection. The US issued A2 was colt model 702. Which externally are identical apart from the 702 was 3 round burst. Where the British issued 701 was full auto. Pictured here in use during OP barras in 2000. As far as I'm aware these where only purchased in small numbers, compared to the earlier colt model 715 (C7) which is still in wide use today. With mine, I've replicated the correct export markings along with with the correct "auto" one. Upper is just a standard G&P upper with a real A2 handguard.

@Beorn You can certainly get a good performer for under £300. Keep in mind that tweaking can improve or ruin performance. Best to wait until you have a backup before tinkering. Its not an exact science I'd suggest to find something that you like the look of and then search reviews followed by asking the forum for opinions. Remember that there can be variation in performance from different copies of the same model so take reviews with a pinch of salt unless there is a definite design flaw found. In theory the more expensive models should be more consistent between copies but up to a point. The performance of our airsoft toys is not linearly proportional to the price so don't let the cost influence you too much. The Honey Badger and Specna Arms Edge have good reputations so they both would be good options. ...Oh and as for space, after a few years you just keep them in a pile 🤣

Suffice to say that nothing in this thread has persuaded me to move away from a butt load of paper pyro. Apart from anything else I do so love showing myself up as the arthritic mess I am by attempting to yeet a bang at the enemy only for it to fall pathetically short and blow me up instead. Good times.

  22. The GB Shell/Selector/Tappet Plate/Mosfet/Trigger are all proprietary to G&P - much like ARES guns. Might be better of trying to fit another V2 Gearbox altogether into the receiver?

Hey guys I’m selling my RS Type 56-2, the hand guard and stock plates are from a real Chinese type 56-2 as they are made of the old school bakelite. It comes with its original box too plus the parts I took off to add the real bits. This gun was featured in Negative Airsoft’s video so here’s proof of its performance. I’m asking £300 plus postage for the gun as it’s a rare find now with even rarer furniture. please message me if you want more photos

  24. eh, i don't really see an issue with people wearing ghillies. end of the day if you don't know what you're at then draping yourself in mock hedgerow is going to offer the square total of bugger all assistance to your ability be concealed in the same way that owning a gucci set of screwdrivers doesn't make you a top tier airsoft tech. likewise someone who's gifted in the art of the sneak can become invisible almost entirely regardless of their choice of attire. this to me is separate from the other issue with ghillie wearers, to wit, the insistence of ankle armbands or other such lacking of identifiers. if the rest of us mere mortals are gonna have to wear a bright red armband to distinguish friend from foe then there should be no exceptions.

  25. As I mentioned previously I've really liked the Halfords paint, and I'm very impressed with the level of finish that can be achieved, even in the hands of an unskilled user (i.e. me) So may I commend to the house my full and unwavering support to the motion that we should take up our paint delivery devices, and make our RIFs interesting.
